It is bloody stressful to have to train with a guy yelling at you while others are keeping up with the pace easily. Mad respect to that dude with tattoo!
Coach, thank you for all the content. We'd love it if you show us the white board with the workout in the beginning of the video. I like trying out the fighter workouts!
Love this shit please show more and keep detailed I'm a former athlete that had the most insane drive in mindset but through the years of not competing and having an opponent in mind to push me it left me and now I'm back to rebuilding the fire 3 months strong please keep these workouts videos up inspiration
I critic Phill whenever I think something is ridiculous - always respectfully. But this video is gold. Lots of very good exercises that cover simultaneously several bases. Nice job, Man!
Bro you revolutionizing the sport and training of MMA to bad you can’t fight anymore. But is your training camp in Florida still Phil? I need to support you and buy you’re program soon. Stay Blessed G🙏🏾✊🏾
Hey Phil. Love the vids as always. Got a question for you. I’ve noticed a lot of MMA fighters and boxers (even and especially pros) have rounded shoulders sometimes even full on upper-cross. I understand your working a lot in the Sagittal plane and anterior muscles are going to likely be stronger than posterior. My question: is this something that fighters would benefit from fixing outside of maybe reduced injury risk? Is there some sort of advantage to staying tight through there? Increased power or speed? Hope you’re staying safe brother. Lots of love
Yea unfortunately a huge amount of volume is placed on the anterior chain in punching and grappling based movements which is why we do spend a ton of time on thoracic mobility and posterior chain development. Again it’s always a working progress because your literally fighting with years and sometimes decades of inefficient motor patterns. On the other hand we don’t want to totally take away from their game or their technique so we do enough to where we can at-least reduce the risk of injury but still allow them to work their style and technique
Good comment. My rotator cuff tendons were hella fucked.Had to do a ton to fix that shit and a lot of time off training too which sucked.I think if you stretch the chest and front delt regularly and dont do the heavy weights low reps type of training for overhead presses and chest presses it wont be that much of a problem but i used to do them all the time. Its good that these athletes have a professional to guide them on what to do and most importantly on what not to do.If you do strength and conditioning training on your own you better do a ton of research or learn from your mistakes although the second option could be very costly.
@@PhilDaruStrongnow if I wanna incorporate 5-5 minute rounds on the heavy bag is that something I can do before or after a session like this. Or do you not recommend incorporating that with the strength and conditioning?
Dura is Da Man! I do your exercises quite often at the gym I go to. I tell everyone that asks who you are. Your name is very easy to remember so they don't have excuses! I hate excuses and I totally despise giving in because you are tired! When I feel tires in the gym I start getting angry! Lol!
Coach due to the covid pandamic I am only allowed to train for 55 minutes in my gym. Could you give any tips or reccomendations for a full body mma/boxing workout?
Definitely enough time brother my advise is to utilize a timer for each lift and rest periods structure out your programming based on the most important thing you need to focus on first then finish off with accessories
I used to train in the same way to increase the strenght in esplosive movements...I Also imply calestenics for the " resistent-strenght" trx, cross fit.... and at the end...very long bag section with the jacket full of Weight on the back....good work.
Dude this is the kind of stuff I want to do but can't find a good gym near me that does this. I trained at an MMA gym years ago and got in the best shape of my life but haven't been able to find something on the same level... Sucks man
why doing the landmine push-press seated, and not in a standing up posicion? isn´t less funcional, since they are fighters. thanks and keep up the good work
Phil wanted Belal to finish the workout but Belal wanted the decision
😂😂😂

Thanks for sharing your expertise! Much appreciated 💪💯
Hey Phil can u do a video about meal plans for weight cutting and what to do and eat on fight day
How does this guy only have 181k subscribers?
That intro killed me! Good video, thanks coach

what about back position in 2:50 ?
Awesome as always! Working out while watching! Feels like I am pushing with the top dogs!
Love it. Always keeping it fresh, changing things up. Favourite channel to learn about training.
dude is a killer! great video
Thanku coach
Interesting approach. There's a lot more power coming from all parts of the body as opposed to isolating movements like traditional bodybuilding.
I just want to know the time and order of exercises this circuit is following
I'm afraid we have to pay for that information
Make your own.
This is so cool some of this I can do at home

can you recommend whole body weight training for boxing please include exercises, sets and reps thanks
Can the exercise at 2:18 be performed with right hand pushing , right knee on the ground and left foot on the ground? Or is there a danger of injury?
It's not about injury the idea is that its harder with legs straight out in front of your core, lowerback etc and isolated to just the upper body
Looks busy. I hope business is going good, sir
Hi man got a question for u. The weights ur using in the video does it effect speed.....
2:50 those round back lifts scares me🥲
Nice cap styling fashion!

Good day sir. My dream is to become a ufc fighter. But i am fat i am trying my best to reduce my weight so that i could become a ufc fighter
I want to know how to become a ufc fighter in america. Cause i am living in the county called Guyana
How much does the wall ball weights for throwing and slamming
How can you let them row with round upper back and lower back?
Hey Phil, your protocol for power endurance is 1 min on 30 off, 10 reps, two sets
Question, could you do the same workout at the end with kettlebells instead of dumbells and be just as effective?
Coach due to the covid pandamic I am only allowed to train for 55 minutes in my gym. Could you give any tips or reccomendations for a full body mma/boxing workout?
55 min is more as enough.
Definitely enough time brother my advise is to utilize a timer for each lift and rest periods structure out your programming based on the most important thing you need to focus on first then finish off with accessories
Coach Phil can I get the lists of this whole program. 😃😁

Those guys looked kyphotic on the rows pulled from the floor. Is it recommended to elevate the weight and shorten the range of motion to prevent that?
What workouts can I do to get a deep Daru voice?
Респект
#bettermebetterworld 😅😊
Hey Phil! how many rounds and reps of each exercise are they doing for that dumbbell circuit?
4x15 each with out dropping
rip back ...
Remember the Bully!

it’s probably because he’s trying to hit more of their cores which will still be good for their fights
Pressing while sitting on the floor use more midsection. Pressing with lunge position will be more similar to the punching movement.

that is just a crossfit workout ....SOORY IS JUST BEGINNER CROSSFIT WORKOUT
