I know you have done a few videos on how to get affiliate stats but do u have any tips I know it just takes time but u know the grind is real btw thanks for another awesome video
@@Angryashley if you haven't already be sure to watch more of his videos. Honestly they are a gold mine & he's already shared SO many quick tips and tricks to become an affiliate. I made Affiliate myself after watching them!! Knowledge is free, my best tip is to do more research and see what works for you and your stream!
I love your channel, and your tips are great! I was able to hit Affiliate in a week, I have regular people that join the stream and love to chat and hang out with us, and I got like 10 subs as soon as it became available along with a hype train the minute I got my affiliate status. I love the sense of community in Twitch when you are able to do it right and create what almost feels like a family.
"You'll double your subscribe count with these tips" I believe you, and I'll definitely put them into practice. Even if the double of 0 is still 0, but great information nonetheless!
I just subscribed. I will probably watch this video everyday for awhile since I literally just created my twitch account. I am killing time until the kids go to sleep to start my first stream and start recording. Thank you for all the tips! It is all very overwhelming, haha!

One of the things I have been trying have been to always say "we". Like "we" have new merch, or "we won that round!" or "we just got a new logo." I have also done viewer play days where I play a selection of games that ppl can either join my voice chat and play a game with me, or do games like marbles or Stream Racer. My viewers enjoy stream racer because they can use bits to blow up other racing cars lol. There are certain things they enjoy seeing and I try to give that to them because they support my stream. I want to be sure I give back to them by engaging with them as much as possible.
People, you just need to apply the rules and stick with them. It helped me get up to 3.5 k followers. I might not stream a lot but I do play with my followers. mind you it took a year to get to where I am at.
I have a lot of unique minigames that people see and stay for, but more than that these minigames also have sub only benefits. It makes for a lot of fun and there's basically never a dull moment, even if I'm feeling dull myself. I'd love to see another sub benefit video from you!
My Twitch channel can be found at twitch.tv/LymeRed I would really appreciate it if you guys could come follow me, and type it chat to let me know what things I can do better in my stream! My goal is to get the best quality that I can get, but I need help figuring out how to do it!
I appreciate your advice on your videos. I have been watching a few videos the past month and I have improved because of your advise. I just became an affiliate yesterday. Thank you so much!
Ngl my page was extremely bland and tasteless. Thanks for showing me own3d. It'll definitely be a bit less of a bore with the dark mode! And once I get my cam gear going I'm sure I can get better visually and hopefully more energy going XD
Hey man ive been watching a lot of your vids lately and I’ve finally got may channel the way I want it to look apart from the scenes so thanks a lot for the help on my twitch channel man
I would like my first sub on twitch, i believe im unique lol.. I rock either a actual WW2 helmet or my Dark Edition MW Night Vision Goggles. Thank you for the advice, ill look back one day and thank you with the s/o and good teachings.
What can you do about trying to be entertaining, but also while being quiet? Streaming with thin walls and a sleeping baby in the house is never a good thing. And when I try to be entertaining yet quiet, i just come off as weird.
THANK YOU FOR 2:38 - 3:37 !!! When I heard the "what makes you unique?" generic responses, I was cheering from my seat because IT IS SO TRUE!! I wish I could sub to you on Twitch right now for that.
if chat isnt talking much i will ask them a question like: what is your fav pokemon or if u could have any pet in the world what would it be? in fact i have alot of post it notes on my monitors with questions on them. most of the time once i ask a question it leads to other topics, and it keeps going on and on. also just say whats on ur mind. good luck with your streams :)
Hey wild I'm a big fan and I love your videos but I have a question hopefully you see this but when I stream and somone joins they dont talk in chat most of the time like 1/8 people actually talk to me and have a conversation
Keep in mind as the entertainer it's your job to talk to them not their job to talk to you. Try asking open ended questions or making jokes. Even the quietest viewer will chat an LOL once in a while.
I recently added a buddypass for subscribers to share some sub benefits with friends for a stream like unlocking certain commands that are sub only. This allows viewers to dip their toes in the sub waters without commitment
Hey @Wild4Games, I have a question! What would you recommend single player streamers (I.e. focuses on single-player indie games) do for “playing with viewers”? Could we try multiplayer games every so often to make this option available for viewers without losing our style of stream?
Yes I HIGHLY recommend "playing with viewers and multi games" Twitch is about engagement and playing with them falls under that. Just make sure you make it fair for everyone and don't alienate or play favorites ( If that makes sense) Good Luck and let me know how it goes for you.
about the viewer game thing. what do you think about being in voice chat while doing viewer games? i watch league of legends the most and it always feels so messy when there's five people talking, and the streamer can't even really focus on their chat anymore. i personally don't really like that, both as a viewer or as a streamer. are viewer games without voice chat okay?
I have a question. Does gaming with people alienate other people? I game with others almost daily but it is often the same large group of people and while those ones game with me, they’re not always even watching my stream. I have this gut feeling I’m doing it wrong now and I want to grow. Please help!
I have a big issue with half of my followers just coming into my chat and boosting themselves and ragging on me "oh I looped this person for 10mins! Oh you missed that shot lolol" What do I do about this behavior? I normally try to ignore it not acknowlesge it but they leave. Should I feel like good riddance or is there a way to turn them into allies and not critics who use me to make themselves look better?
they said don't use generic phrases to create value, like 'I want to make sure this is a warm welcoming place for people to come in and have a great time' but then the first tip is about making the community laugh and smile and making them feel better on a bad day, and playing games with them to make them feel special?? That's literally the same thing with extra words??? I actually had to rewind to see if I'd missed the tip. tip 2 really only applies to multiplayer games. tip 4 and 5 are literally just 'have sub emotes and perks' which all platforms already tell streamers to do, and the final tip is literally 'be unique' which is another thing he said is too generic and doesn't count as value in the first 4 minutes of the video" I want to share my own personal insight with the world" isn't unique??? These are the exact same tips you'd use to grow followers and a channel in general - nothing here actually related to increase paid membership numbers ):
Do I have to have certain amount of followers to have subscribers on my twitch or a really doesn’t matter at all or I have to do a certain task to unlock that feature can you let me know because I don’t know anything like that about Twitch and The same thing goes with bits do I have to unlock that feature some people can support me.
