@@ninerliner79 I looked at your channel, and while I don't want to be harsh, the content you're creating and your streams need a lot of work. If you watch my 32 tips video and score yourself out of 32, you'll get a list of actionable tips you can work on, because right now I wouldn't consider what you're doing actually that much. heys decided nows the time i wanna hit streaming more then just having fun with friends and dedicate more effort into it. gotta ask as it looked amazing what was your chat box on stream that animation was clean and looked so much better then just text popping up?
One night, the chat was going great for me, and my few viewers were chatting with me the whole time. Next stream, averaged 5 viewers the whole time but no chat. Made me think about why but it seems like they enjoyed watching me and just wanted to chill. Great info
The "a quiet chat doesn't mean a streamer is boring..." comment resonates TOO well with me, I deal with it all the time! I need to start reminding myself of that because when my chat is dead, my anxiety kicks in and I subconsciously tell myself I'm doing a bad job, whereas my viewers literally tell me "we're just enjoying the vibe and the experience"!
I absolutely love your content. Being a small streamer has to be one of the hardest realities when trying to break through. We all appreciate these videos!
I'm really glad I stumbled on this video because lately I had started to become discouraged when chat goes quiet. Thanks for explaining how lurkers are on twitch. As a small streamer your content makes a lot of things easier. Thanks so much.
These are actually some great tips for a small content creator. The main focus of Twitch is just that! Chatting with viewers, and playing the game at the same time. Not just ignoring your chat members, because they joined YOUR stream so they'd find someone to talk to about that genre.
Such an interesting video! I really appreciate your last bit about lurkers and focusing on the game so you can make other content for different platforms. I really value my chatting aspects of my streams, but you're right - if you want to grow, at some point you need to focus more on the content than the relationship between streamer and chat. Probably more relevant for mid-sized streamers than small streamers like myself, but such an interesting point. I'm incredibly curious to see how you navigate this in your stream! As a semi-lurker in your chat it's interesting to see you shift things in small ways, I think you're on the right track, can't wait to see how you'll adapt to more a content-oriented streamer!
Chat bots and commands are a really great idea! I feel like some of them would work a lot better for smaller streamers than others, but definitely getting some kind of activity in chat is so important since it's impossible to engage with viewers if you don't know they're there
When it comes to a quiet chat with lots of viewers, it may seem discouraging, but in fact that's not truly the case. I know, right? I think it's a very cool thing. I'd love to know where they come from but chances are they'll be back for more. When chat goes by too fast and you don't acknowledge them enough (if you are genuinely a person who actually cares about others) it becomes pretty difficult because you don't want people to feel left out, but they're there to support you for a reason, and you'd be thankful that they stuck around. It's amazing how sooner or later somebody will come up to you and tell you what they think and what keeps them interested in your streams. Never forget about them. It helps you grow, one tiny step at a time.
I stream with a group, usually we are in Discord. Who ever is running stream that day has chat open on their second screen, and those of us not running the stream do the same. That way all of us can and do respond to chat. When we run our strategy games chat gets hyper active with suggestions or just stuff messing with us for the way we are playing. Next step is getting some emotes and stuff set up for channel points.
Not gonna lie, as I'm still getting used to even having folks in my chat, I often get too stuck in the game and forget to interact with my chat. I've been working on that and have noticed a difference in how many chatters/followers choose to stay or leave my streams. Really enjoy the advice you give, can't thank you enough.
I've noticed the final point myself. Sometimes when I'm editing and an important bit comes up that needs to be in a RUclips video it gets cut off by me talking to chat about something completely different or in the past was blown out by some sound alert that I had installed. It's hard to find a good balance between keeping the streams engaging and the RUclips video good quality. I really I hope I'll be able to grow as a creator and as a person in 2022, but sometimes life gets in the way too. It's a tough journey, but I'm positive about it. Thanks for all the help you've given me so far Eljay!
Thank you so much for this. Finally got affiliate and actually have core members that chat that aren’t my real life friends. These are things i’ll focus on to improve my channel and grow a community for my channel to join and have fun. I do have goals to why i wanted to stream and will stick to them. Not gonna take the easy road.
I truly appreciate your videos man, I seriously need help with engagement in my chat and I need help with my streaming in general. Your videos are super duper helpful and literally anyone who wants to become a streamer should definitely check you out. I truly take your advice into consideration.
Honestly so glad I found this. I’ve been streaming for a bit and this is helping to build a minuscule community. Thank you so much! I’m slowly increasing my viewer count
The best advice anyone's given me in regards to streaming is to treat your stream like a recorded video. Basically learning how to talk to yourself/get comfortable with commentating/laughing at YOURSELF bc that's the content. sometimes you are just performing in front of a camera/mic to a silent audience. and that's ok. I'm only now realising that my habit of doing this off camera really helps now that I'm streaming haha you gotta be just a little wacky to be a streamer after all. I will say I definitely needed to hear that a quiet chat doesn't mean an uninterested chat, especially if people are hanging around just not talking... it means they do enjoy the stream enough to stay. Not everyone wants to put the spotlight on themselves in a chat, and I can understand that. thanks for the pointers man! Great contextual answers with some further insight for common small streamer problems. Much appreciated.
Ever since watching your vids, I've been going around to a ton of different streamers, big and small to see how others handle their chats & content. They dont always do everything said, as different people handle it differently, but ive still seen everything you have said been implemented one way or another. Tldr: You and your vids are amazing, and i cant wait to see what vid you make next.
@@StreamScheme Thats a tough question, but a good question. Ive highly enjoyed most of the ones ive seen but if i had to drop some names, id probably go with the ones i get to watch the most. Big streamers: Ryukhar & Nuxtaku Medium streamers: kitsunespirit & Keinanate Small streamers: Dollvt & Horiseiza Theres been tons of others but these are the ones I get to watch and enjoy watching.
So much of your content has helped me blaze a path with Twitch. Before I started streaming, I had never been on twitch, so I’m learning how twitch works as a creator and a consumer to be part of the culture. Thanks Eljay, I really appreciate all your wisdoms :)
Wow! This couldn't have come out at a better time. This has been bothering me for a couple weeks now!! I've noticed chat always died down once I started playing games and it's worried me so much, but I'm happy to hear it's natural!! I always seem to get new viewers during gaming, who then become regulars and talk a lot during my chatting segments, so it's been a bit confusing what works! Thanks so much as always
im an incredibaly small streamer, its been very hard to grow but this has motivated me to try and be more engaging. i always flick to my chat and talk to anyone knew whilst i play my games. i will be honest, it does disharten me sometimes when im playing games and someone comes into my chat telling me to k**l myself. i kaugh it off but i think thats also a very hard thing to deal with as someone whose trying to grow on the platform, but other than that its such a nice community to be apart of and im so proud to be here and to be able to stream. this was ana amazing video and keep it up man
Thanks you so much for the wonderful tips! I was finally able to hit affiliate today after only streaming for less than two weeks! I couldn’t have done it without your videos!
I have always been blown away by your ability to catch everybody’s first hello. I find myself in a similar boat though on Facebook. Chat is blowing up but my concurrent viewers has been flat.
I knew you would, but glad the video ended with the reminder of lurkers. I try to randomly just sneak a thank you in to the lurkers on occasion. Because it really is the home base of viewership! If anybody reading this has trouble with topics, there are books and sites out there with plenty of thought provoking questions! I'm a motor mouth that can talk any topic, but wanted some channel point ideas. I have a Dad Joke book. A Would You Rather book. And a What If book. Usually somebody redeems one and then it creates a waterfall. We actually ended up in a pretty heated debate a couple weeks back about if you'd rather a pet dragon or pet unicorn. All while I was doing a Stone Cold Steve Austin impression for a more expensive redemption. Sometimes the questions flop but we get into some ridiculous topics and it's always really fun to see a first time chatter (thank you twitch for that update) getting involved in one of those topics!
I feel like this is why the chant feature IS SO GOOD! I managed to get it and try it out, and a lot of people use the chant as their first message, and after that feel comfortable to talk!
Thank you thank you thank you!! I have been watching your videos daily for a few weeks now and have been slowly incorporating your tips. I’ve seen a huge change in my streams and how I feel going into them 🤍 I’m so much more comfortable and I know how to fill dead air or just make my streaming more streamline! Excited to keep practicing these tips and get more confident.
Hi!! I have watch more then half of your videos in the last week, preparing myself for my future streaming plans. I’ve only gone live once on twitch and a few times on RUclips. That being said, I took the time and spent more then a few hours getting my twitch page ready and looking professional. I just want to say that the content you are dropping here has help me learn and grow as a creator more then you know!! Thank you!! Keep it up!! I look forward to the next video!!
When I hit a wall I always come back and rewatch these videos to help refresh my memory on great ideas and find a spark. This video is a great example and has helped revived my motivation. Thanks Eljay!
Eljay! You glorious man! Ty so much for all the content and hard work you put into these videos! I fell victim to putting individual chatters over what I was trying to do on stream. It effects the play and fellow streamers so much. It's a fine balance and I feel I'm getting better at it. Definitely a balancing act that takes time to master.
As always, some things im already applying and some things I need to start doing! Thank you! I'm coming up on 1 month streaming on Twitch. Hit affiliate couple of weeks ago and my viewers and followers just keep growing each and every stream. Thank you for everything you do. I know it would not have been possible if I didn't apply the things I learned from you!
Even tho I have little to no chat activity and get 1-3 lurkers the entire stream I still interact and say hi and ask how their day is going and making sure they’re doing good because I just love talking/ meeting new people especially people that come and enjoy my stream :D
This dudes legit. I've haven't watched all his videos, but charismatic delivery and info you can't find elsewhere. What more can you ask for. Cheers mate.
I love your tips for streamers I've been using them to help get more viewers like earlier today when I was streaming someone chatted and got a conversation till the end of the stream so you should be talking about the game or what you are doing whilst streaming. But I haven't explored my twitch page that is something I have to expand on. I really do thank you for your tips.
Thanks for the videos man! I recently got back into streaming and I wanted to update my stream and you’re videos are just what I needed to help me jump back into the stream game.
I’ve been watching and making notes of your guides on growing on twitch I’ve started late October/ early November and I’m now 6 away from becoming affiliate your guides have been helping me to grow great content💪🏾👍🏽
Thanks for all the tips, I've recently switched from Twitch over to RUclips so some of the things I'm not sure they translate over, but I've used your videos to improve the quality a lot, thanks!
this is so helpful!!! Sometimes it’s just hard because yeah, I keep asking questions but I feel like no one is listening to me or bother to answer so I feel chat is dead, but hopefully those commands will truly help me to have a more alive chat :))
The open ended questions I LOVE to use them, but to me they work best with foods, like "Do you like ketchup on pizza or you are a normal person"? Ketchup lovers and haters HAVE TO comment, it helps a lot in boring parts, like grinding or just lost where to go. Oh and the naming of pokemon i did it with monster hunter stories, I made a giveaway to every egg batch to viewers name the monsters. These tips are VERY helpful, you should listen this guy
I started Twitch 2 weeks ago. Took 13 days to make affiliate, I build experimental guitars. So much to learn, coming from yt. Emotes, never expected to need them this soon. Thanks for the tips. They work.
Discord calls can bolster chat if you do it right. It helps if the other people in call also see/respond to chat and sometimes requires a bit of extra work from moderators, but it's definitely worth it when done right. I've especially seen collaborations with the right people really work it's magic in this regard.
I just wanted to say that this video has changed my stream and how I react to my stream (if that makes sense) along w other videos of urs i really do apreciate it Plus all the tips have just really made me focus on the bigger picture and not just the small one in the corner so thank you for that much love.
Hey, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for the type of content you're providing. I've wanted to start streaming for a couple years now but I've just never known when or how to start. It's Intimidating!! And when I asked other content creators a lot of them sort of got offended and acted as if they needed to gatekeep the information. So finding your channel has really helped me a lot with the learning process, and helped me gain some self confidence along the way. My goal is never to be some big famous streamer I really just wanted a way to interact with the community and have fun playing games and also build myself up a little bit too cause I've always been introverted and a little camera shy... anyways I just wanted to say I really appreciate you and the content. 😊
Great video, nice tips as always ! Also, I have a question, what's your opinion on changing your stream language ? (I used to stream 2 years in french, then switch to english)
I feel like thatd be fine, and even beneficial. Its more inclusive to people whos native language is one or the other. I would just put in the title or somewhere visible like “English/French” to make that known
I find myself looking through your videos for any and all ideas to get my little stream looking decent and hoping to attract new people. Thank you for your time and effort with your content. I stay learning trying to improve in every little way
as someone who has just gotten into streaming by accident at that, I really appreciate this video. It’s been a struggle getting used to everything but it’s been an enjoyable struggle. This video definitely helped me put a lot of things into perspective and gave me some new ideas to try. all this is to say your words are encouraging and for that I have to say thank you.
Thanks for the advice. This is good, important stuff for a small streamer like myself. I apreciate that you take the time to give us your knowledge and expertise cause man! Beaing a small streamer and try to figure out how to build a nice and steady comunity is really hard.
I get not streaming in discord calls but honestly it's helped me a lot. I'm good at talking to others, but not so much myself and when I'm sitting at 3 lurkers and no one is talking it's either I discord call or my lurkers try to find out if I have a voice. haha I do have a defen/mute for discord i hit EVERY single time someone says something to me in chat it's just.. extremely rare anyone does.
Definitely going to try these tips. I've been experimenting a little bit with my content and seeing if I experience growth and your videos really help.
Cheers man, very helpful video. I can't believe some streamers ignore the chat. As a craft streamer I think interacting with chat is the most important part of my stream.
I don't have many followers yet but your videos have made learning how to set up my channel so easy and fun! I cannot thank you enough! I even used one of your overlay packs cause the cherry blossoms were just so pretty!!
I'm really enjoying your channel, I am using the advice for streaming on RUclips instead of Twitch but it is really making things fun thinking about the possibility of growing my stream.
awesome tips, my stream is very chat central, i honestly feel 1000% more like an actual streamer when we are all chatting and getting involved its great
Hello! I love watching your videos. Last night I streamed and I had one friend join in the chat to keep me company and I kept the vibe going for the whole stream. Afterwards my friend said, "what a great stream!" I replied mentioning they were the only one watching and they were like "um no you had another person hang around most of the stream and three people at one point". Thank you for all the tips!
Ty for these videos. I have been learning a lot and still trying to improve myself. I usually have around 3 viewers and sometimes I have had around 8 or so. Still have a lot to improve but because of your videos I have kept trying and not giving up. Because I know it will take a long time before I truly start to grow more.
Thanks for this video. I've been struggling with high lurkers and slow chats and for a while I felt like something was wrong with me. But like you said, I think a lot of people are engaged and relaxed and thats ok.
I stream since the 28th December 2021 and notived that i had regular lurkers which kinda made me happy. Which made me even happier was that at my first stream I had 1 person who stayed the whole 4 hours and chatted wsith me. Even now i still remember him and am super happy and point him out when I see him in chat. smth that made me happy as well was, in my stream last sunday, one of the long time lurkers wrote something in the chat and I feld somewhat proud of making them feel comfortable enough to finally chat, that made my day, really
Really quick question. What are some tips for a twitch streamer that streams on Xbox? I don’t have a PC so I’m not able to do certain things that you mention in the video
Awesome video eljay, what you said about not reading the chat always is a good tip but sometimes people type something funny enough to make good content around it so o guess its about reacting to the situation of the stream, loved the point of the video tho, will def help a lot!
These videos always bright up my day and keep me motivated, ever since I started watching you I’ve grown and close to affiliate! I still need improvement for sure but you’ve helped a lot! Maybe one day I’ll be worthy of an eljay alt account visit lol. Much love and thank you for everything!!
This is the best video by far and so helpful. I'm a bit of a smaller streamer and my main feedback is that I engage with my community. This video has given me so many more tips too! And when you mentioned quiet chat that put my mind at ease. I get so worried when I play games or do things and chat goes quiet lol 😂 many helpful hints in this, thankyou so much! Cannot wait to use some of these in my next stream!
i have yet to debut and i've only recently started watching your videos ever since they were recommended to me. You provide such good resources and you're definitely a reliable source of advice. i look forward to applyign your videos to my streaming career!
This is something that i always work on getting better at. I am big into acknowledging every single messgae, but sometimes my engagement isnt always the most receptive
I just came across your channel and I just wanna say thankyou! You are giving me so many ideas for my Twitch channel! I just hit affiliate and I am gonna try to incorporate a lot of advices you give. A question about the commands though, would you recommend it to also put them under a little "Commands" panel on your Twitch? Or just the title of your stream?
Your videos have been so helpful! I'm thinking about trying a stream for the first time, and sometimes using all this seems overwhelming, but your videos really help, so thank you!
A big thing that used to make me nervous was starting a stream and not having anyone join initially. I set up a channel point reward for 1 point that is only redeemable once per stream that just says “first”, it’s really funny to watch my community try and fight over it!
I really appreciate your content :) it's been incredibly helpful getting started on Twitch. My community so far has been wonderful and my followers are incredibly supportive. I am working on making my streams more enjoyable for my viewers. Luckily I'm not in it for the money which I think helps a lot. Twitch is just super fun for me and I love my community. So thank you ❤️
On the discord call with friends advice: it's quite the opposite in my experience, but that's due to the specifics of how we do them. My streamer friends and I are all in a niche game mode and will often jump into a call with each other with the idea of helping out with the stream. The co-host talks with the streamer but also interacts with chat. It's particularly helpful since our game mode is not friendly with reading chat, while playing so the cohost can act as a human talk to speech. But then again, I guess it is specific to our circumstances as not everyone enjoy sitting in a stream as a glorified assistant so cohosting could be a drag for them. (The game is Hardspace Shipbreaker and we play the RACE mode, basically a speedrun of the game in case you were wondering) OH! And bonus; cohosting has earned me several follows because people will often follow my friend streaming and then myself in the same beat
I swear, every question I had in my head has basically been answered by this video. Elijay, you keep getting better and better with each video homie. 👏
I relate to the last part of the video so much! During my horror streams I have sound alerts enabled. Sometimes my chat will abuse it for a while and I cannot use the footage for a RUclips video afterwards... It got really annoying but I was still enjoying it. So it urnednmy videos into horror/comedic and I still produce great content :)
Hey man, I am a small streamer, I am very engaging to my chat, I respond quick and ask questions. But I often find on occasion my chat dies out and no one responds. Regardless of the questions I ask. I know people can be busy and lurk but for the whole chat to do it at the same time makes me feel awkward... Still I press on and keep chatting about what I am doing in game.
I feel like nobody really cares about the game when they join the stream. People are just there to listen to the streamer talk about random stuff WHILE playing the game. See the difference there? They honestly just wanna taste of the personality in someone….
I'm trying to start streaming again and I just found your channel. I've been binging your videos and I love them so much! Thank you. I have a kappamon that can be interacted with in the chat, and while it was only used once or twice in the last stream, it's still something and it helps the interaction. I'm hesitant to use the timer thing though... if people aren't talking, won't the same timed message appear again and again?
I love my lurkers! I love anyone who tunes in, whether they chat or not. I’ve always been made fun of for how chatty I am, so I’m grateful I found streaming, because it helps a lot. I can usually engage with chat pretty easily because I ALWAYS seem to have something to say 😂 my husband asks me what that’s like, because he doesn’t know
11:26 so I said this exact same thing on a reddit post i just used the example with MMO RPGs and someone said "baiting for engagement is a wild take". sparking a conversation isn't baiting , people in general like the video said love giving their opinion
I love this advice and just found your channel a couple days ago. I’ve only been streaming for about a week so this is my first week using your tips and tricks! I hope they work! Even though you don’t know me, thank you so much for all your help with setup and tips to make my stream better!
Quick update. Had my first stream of this week and used your advice on what games to play and had 10 viewers with tons of chat activity!! Thank you so much! Hopefully tonight goes well too!
The biggest stuggle I have is I have a niche tended more towards lurkers. It is generally a lot of slow strategy games, I want to make people more enagaged and make them more of a community. I have many of the same people returning to my streams; so I know some people are enjoying my content but many don't chat. I am going to definetly try more chat commads as this seems like a good idea, but I would love to hear some good tips on creating a community. Now to search for some of those videos on your channel cause I know you probably have some!
as a small streamer i always encourage viewers to lurk especially if they are enjoying the stream and just chilling. i never make fun of them or force them to chat.
I just started streaming on twitch, theres this friend of mine on discord who encourage me to try stream so I tried it. She is my number one viewer as she watched the whole stream by herself lmao, i feel thankful for having her as my friend
as a NON streamer these are good tips. I hate going into a chat and not being able to engage because they are engaged in a super niche "it's between us" discussion. Then like you mention is lack of engagement. Not sure why people stream on Twitch if they have no desire to engage. there is facebook and even youtube stream where you can also leave your stream unlisted or private. in youtube you can block chat entirely. Then there is the "no backseat gaming" crowd. Again, if you don't want a chat to engage then there are other options, you don't NEED to read chat, you can just leave a banner you don't read chat and call it a day. This is not an excuse for people who a rude and disrespectful but it defeats the purpose of twitch which purpose is like sitting on the couch with a friend and shooting the wind or playing couch co-op, yelling at your friend and generally having a good time. If the only time you want your chat to engage with you is when they give you money then you are probably a chat I don't want to be part of.

Hey AJ, do people who are watching my stream, but haven't chatted, count as viewers? Or are there bots in my streams?
One night, the chat was going great for me, and my few viewers were chatting with me the whole time. Next stream, averaged 5 viewers the whole time but no chat. Made me think about why but it seems like they enjoyed watching me and just wanted to chill. Great info
The "a quiet chat doesn't mean a streamer is boring..." comment resonates TOO well with me, I deal with it all the time! I'm really glad I stumbled on this video because lately I had started to become discouraged when chat goes quiet. Thanks for explaining how lurkers are on twitch. As a small streamer your content makes a lot of things easier. Thanks so much.
This is so relatable!
I had a raid of 20+ viewers and only a couple said hi, I felt like I failed somehow.. I have to say I feel much better now 😊
These are actually some great tips for a small content creator.
Love that
Not gonna lie, as I'm still getting used to even having folks in my chat, I often get too stuck in the game and forget to interact with my chat.
Thanks for the kind words! #earlygang
Who’s been your favourite so far that you’ve looked at?
@@StreamScheme Thats a tough question, but a good question.
Ive highly enjoyed most of the ones ive seen but if i had to drop some names, id probably go with the ones i get to watch the most.
Big streamers: Ryukhar & Nuxtaku
Medium streamers: kitsunespirit & Keinanate
Small streamers: Dollvt & Horiseiza
Theres been tons of others but these are the ones I get to watch and enjoy watching.
Lots of creators go through the same worries!
im an incredibaly small streamer, its been very hard to grow but this has motivated me to try and be more engaging. i always flick to my chat and talk to anyone knew whilst i play my games. i will be honest, it does disharten me sometimes when im playing games and someone comes into my chat telling me to k**l myself. i kaugh it off but i think thats also a very hard thing to deal with as someone whose trying to grow on the platform, but other than that its such a nice community to be apart of and im so proud to be here and to be able to stream. this was ana amazing video and keep it up man
Thanks you so much for the wonderful tips!
I really love what you've done as a content creator with Stream Scheme and this had a lot of good information! Keep making the good stuff Lj!
Just rub in that they won’t give me chants then okay
What are chants?
Hope it helps mate :)
Good to see Eljay has that christmas spirit by cosplaying Rudolf! love u man
I love your tips for streamers I've been using them to help get more viewers like earlier today when I was streaming someone chatted and got a conversation till the end of the stream so you should be talking about the game or what you are doing whilst streaming.
I always engage every chatter that says something in the chat. It really does make them want to come back.
this is so helpful!!! Sometimes it’s just hard because yeah, I keep asking questions but I feel like no one is listening to me or bother to answer so I feel chat is dead, but hopefully those commands will truly help me to have a more alive chat :))
I’m 6 weeks into streaming on twitch and have found your vids fantastic to get started! Thanks for the great content!
Sounds like you're already crushing it! Heck yeah! #earlygang
Your content has helped me soooo much, as a decently small streamer you have helped me sooooo much, my twitch has grown a decent bit because of you
I started Twitch 2 weeks ago.
I've especially seen collaborations with the right people really work it's magic in this regard.
i agree 100%
Just wanted to say you've REALLY helped me out streaming. I've been streaming for 8 months and now well on my way to 2K follows thanks to your tips :)
I'm good at talking to others, but not so much myself and when I'm sitting at 3 lurkers and no one is talking it's either I discord call or my lurkers try to find out if I have a voice. haha
I do have a defen/mute for discord i hit EVERY single time someone says something to me in chat it's just.. extremely rare anyone does.
Absolutely it helps! I’m not saying not to do it, just explaining it has drawbacks!
@@StreamScheme of course. Appreciate your videos man. Happy holidays!
Dude I appreciate all this info so much as someone just starting streaming. Your channel is awesome. Thank you
awesome tips, my stream is very chat central, i honestly feel 1000% more like an actual streamer when we are all chatting and getting involved its great
THANK YOU for pointing out the elephant in the room: Lurkers ARE the backbone of Twitch. Great tips too, thank you!
Eljay, how do you get your boxed chat or is it only for you, just wandering since it looks so nice.
As always, thanks for the bomb tips, I added the "FIRST!" chat reward immediately. We will see how it works tonight.
Love these videos Elay. I seem to find them always talking about stuff that's been on my mind or questions I have had floating in my mind. Thanks man
Glad you like them!
It's always good to see appreciation for lurkers, and some nuggets of advice to reinforce good habits too.
This is something that i always work on getting better at. I am big into acknowledging every single messgae, but sometimes my engagement isnt always the most receptive
I just started my twitch Streaming journey and broo your videos are so freaking useful
Thank you so much brother
Consuming your vehicles. It’s like a new podcast for me. Growing as I drive to work. Appreciated
Or just the title of your stream?
your vids have made setting up my channel and being a 100% noobnub at streaming so much easier and been so helpful, thank you
Your videos have been so helpful!
(The game is Hardspace Shipbreaker and we play the RACE mode, basically a speedrun of the game in case you were wondering)
OH! And bonus; cohosting has earned me several follows because people will often follow my friend streaming and then myself in the same beat
I swear, every question I had in my head has basically been answered by this video.
Elijay, you keep getting better and better with each video homie. 👏
Wow, thanks!
I'm a new streamer on twitch and it's been very hard to get viewers to come in. I'm always chatting with my viewers. Thank you for the updates darling
I love the new chatter highlight feature, it's actually helped me find new people and welcome them
Thank you. I have been streaming as an affiliate for a little over a year now and your videos have been extremely helpful.
I love your content and I’m taking all your advices hopefully one day I get people to pass by and have a fun time, thank you for all your videos man
I love my lurkers! I love anyone who tunes in, whether they chat or not. I’ve always been made fun of for how chatty I am, so I’m grateful I found streaming, because it helps a lot. I can usually engage with chat pretty easily because I ALWAYS seem to have something to say 😂 my husband asks me what that’s like, because he doesn’t know
Nice video as always! Yeah true, the offline network and content seems like the meta as a content creator.
Hopefully tonight goes well too!
your content is so informative. I've recently taken off in a specific community and your tips have been so helpful! Thank you so much!
I always feel like I'm gonna have a good stream after watching these new vids!
Now to search for some of those videos on your channel cause I know you probably have some!
as a small streamer i always encourage viewers to lurk especially if they are enjoying the stream and just chilling. i never make fun of them or force them to chat.
questions about food opinions are the best honestly
