- After hours and hours of research over the past months, I've been able to track down the literal place where OU football got its start and a little bit of info on each of the 16 players from OU's first ever football team in 1895.

@theFranchise listener here, great job Todd! Watched it again with the wife and she also enjoyed not only the history, but your delivery of the information.
@@curtiswaddell5349 That means a lot! Thank you! Hopefully the channel and the videos get bigger and better!
John Evans… what a madman. Great video Todd

Gave me Goose bumps!

Living in norman my entire life(37 years) and being an OU fan naturally, this was fire( as the kids say today)

SOMMERS daughter Blanche was , for many years, Assistant Dean of OU's College of Pharmacy. I believe she also served as Interim Dean. I think she taught History of Pharmacy for many years.
@@donnabyas3851 That's correct! She was interim Dean for around a year at OU. Thanks so much for checking out the video!
This was great, well done!
Appreciate that. Thanks for checking it out. 🤙🏻
Thank you for the history lesson.

Well this was cool! Thanks alot!
@@mitchconner2021 Thanks for taking the time to watch it!
@@toddonsports I have an idea for a video I think OU fans would love. A story of those 1950s teams that went undefeated. Not alot is known about that team by most OU fans today. We've had so many other great players since then I feel like people forget those guys who built the Monster.
@@mitchconner2021 I like it! I've got another story from around the same time as this one that I'm working on, but I'll put that on the list.
