I’ve just got the 40mm version. It is a great watch . The size of those numerals helps my ageing eyes.😀.

What's the lug to lug size on the 40?

I’ve got an 8” wrist, so this is a sweet spot for me on a field watch. Absolute beauty!

I just scored one on shophq with a promo code I found online for 310 something with tax included. I just wish they kept the old eta 2824. This 6 hertz a second beat rate is a tad cheap and choppy. Also don't get too hung up on wrist to watch diameter ratio. I have a 6 and 3 quarter inch wrist and I wear 45 mm watches. I can pull it off cuz I am 6'2". So it's not just wrist size alone.

It’s 6 ticks per second 3 htz but I agree they should have kept it at 4 htz although the power reserve is now much better than it was.

Can you comment on any condensation/moisture issues? I ordered a Hamilton H70505833 and was concerned as some of the reports mentioned condensation issues in dry climates etc... curious of your experience.

While I've never experienced any issues personally, I have seen complaints regarding moisture issues with some Khaki watches. The one thing that all of the complaints seemed to have in common was that they were related to watches that only had a 50m depth rating. I've never seen a single complaint regarding any of their 100m watches.

Why is this $200 more than the 42mm KHaki Field auto?

I dont understand. Are you talking about retail? In the grey market I dont see as big of a gap.

@@hammondwatch2808 yea Grey Market it seems to be $150-200 more

@@ArizonaMMJ Keep checking Ashford. These pop up there for under $400 USD often. I don't know why other grey market sites list it more expensive. Probably just a less common dial color.

It goes from $350-$700 on Amazon. You just need to time the supply and demand just right. It's just like the stock market. The retail price is a guide, the real value is in the demand.

My Hamilton was accurate to within 2 seconds after a month of wear. It also has an 80 hour power reserve so no matter how long I set it on my table, every time I pick it up it works and is accurate.
