Wait till you check these guys out live. They were well known as one of the greatest live acts of the day. Try Suicide Blonde or What You Need live from Wembley in 91 or The Loved One from a live in Australia concert in 87. Deep rabbit hole with INXS and I can honestly say, there are no misses. Just an all around fantastic band.
Michael Hutchence was onw of the very few baritones in the rock era and he could SING. Super talented guy and the charisma was off the charts. The absolute GOAT frontman. He and Andrew Farriss wrote almost every song. An uber talented musician who was criminally underrated because of his sensational looks. Why isn't Oz's biggest bad in th Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?!
INXS live were a very energetic band. Michael Hutchence on stage was a RockStar with a lot of charisma. The band sounded very good. Although of course the first time I saw them in Argentina was a multi-day show where local bands like Soda Stereo were mixed with foreign bands like INXS at the Rock & Pop Festival in 1985 at Velez Sarsfield Stadium. But the wounds of the Falklands War of 1982 were still fresh and It was Problematic Festival
Of course you like... it's awesome!!! One of the biggest bands in the world at the time...even better live! Try anything from Wembley stadium in 1991. 20+ years of hits and varying sound..all great. What You Need, Need You Tonight, Taste It, Original Sin, Never Tear Us Apart, Disappear, Don't Lose Your Head, Baby Don't Cry a few of my favourites!
@@Azimov-REACTS awesome, you seemed to really like them! They are brilliant live! Especially the Wembley Stadium concert in 1991! Note: this is a repost, a few of my comments seem to disappear 😭
This is such a good album, first tape I ever bought at 9 years old from my allowance or newspaper delivery money. Still have that shit too. If I could sing like anyone it's a toss-up between Michael Hutchence here and Chris Cornell from Soundgarden, but this is just one of those albums that can immediately and significantly improve my mood within a few notes.
haha that's awesome, my first album was Nickelback - Silver Side Up Hes got a great voice - Cornell too! - id have to pick Cornell's best friend Chester Bennington
