👏🙌🎸🎶💙‼️Yeah for more Stevie Ray🎶🎸. He opened a lot of shows with these two songs as it warmed up his fingers and got the crowd going. Don't worry! We won't let you run out of Stevie Ray performances. He left a great body of work in quality and quantity. A commenter talked about Couldn't Stand the Weather. There is an official video the group did and 2 of the best live performances of that song is from the Capitol Theater in 1985 and even better is from Austin City Limits 1989. How about every other week instead of making us wait a whole month? We are really enjoying your reactions so please keep them coming.🎸🎶💙
AMEN sister!! Idk how he can wait a whole month before going back for more. We might just be a coup of old SRV junkies and we don't realize it. 😂😂 That's one addiction that's actually good for the soul. And thank you for mentioning the live versions. I'm going there right now because...you know...that's what we do. 🤗🤗✌
@@snakeinthegrass7443 we are in total agreement there🎸🎶💙‼️. I can't imagine Life Without Stevie🌟⭐️✨ Also this reactor is new to Stevie but has already done 4 or more so far~
These songs came off an album called Soul To Soul. It was the early 80's and CDs had just come onto the scene. My brother bought this disc for me and it was my very first Cd ever!! I played it over and over again and it didn't stretch or wear out like a cassette and it didn't scratch, (easily) like vinyl. I still have it to this day!!! I believe he was 35 when he passed 😢😢 A song that comes to mind is Couldn't Stand The Weather. I've never seen a live version but that's not saying much. It could be out there. But if not, the audio itself is more than enough to satisfy your SRV cravings for a little while. (Yes, vocals) Peace and love from the US. (love the sweaters, guys.) Are you brothers or just friends?
Couldn't Stand the Weather is such a great song. They did an official video of it and the best live versions are from the Capitol Theater in 1985 and Austin City Limits in 1989!
SRV opened for Eric Clapton and right after, he jumped on the first helicopter to return to his girlfriend in Dallas Texas. After the crash, Eric Clapton said they were debating cancelling the show when he and all the musicians felt that SRV would have wanted them to continue. So they did in honor of him. SRV was the best there was!!!!
@Azimov-REACTS For a blistering rocker, try 'Tightrope' at Austin City Limits 1989. For a one that shows off the power of his vocals, try 'Leave My Girl Alone' at Austin City Limits 1989. (And more smoking solos, of course) 😂
Thanks, guys! so cool... and of course, the amazing Reese Wynans on keys... a bit surprised he didn't break a string on this... as said below, the total GOAT! appreciate your reactions... (Azimov, I hope you get your friends to listen to some of the other songs that YOU know.. where he actually does sing.. lol)
Here's another blues band that I think you might enjoy checking out, if interested. "Beth & Joe - Close To My Fire - Live from Amsterdam" (by the channel: HartandBonamassa) Joe Bonamassa is another OG blues guitarist, and Beth Hart is known for her killer vocals. She can vocal gymnastics that will blow you away🤯
I wish you’d picked a different song choice, but happy to see you doing Stevie. “Tin Pan Alley” from this show is unreal! ruclips.net/video/AGPx-ekqZEo/видео.htmlsi=YtzOgaXAWuCZDD4M
Stevie Ray Vaughan The Goat!! I can't get enough of him either. He died at age 35, way too young, he had so much more music to bless us with!!! RIP
Saw Stevie in '81 and realized I was watching greatness even then.
Simply the GOAT OF GOATS! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
SRV was the real deal.

I was at work when my boss told me he had been killed - I had seen him play live twice -- not ashamed to say I cried.
It was such a loss to the music world and the impact he had made on people life
Glad Reece didn’t fall off his bench on this version.
It actually broke during that sound check!
August 27, 1990...one sad day
