It is a lot of steps, but if you are concerned about what you put into your body, this one has what it needs and not what it doesn't need. No preservatives or added crap! You are my favorite baking gal, Steph! Back years ago, Hostess ran a special batch of chocolate filled cupcakes. I suppose you could do that with these. My grandmother used to melt Hersey chocolate bars and ice her cakes with them! Talk about Rich and decadent! Thanxz

Congratulations on your 500th video, oh my goodness I think I’ve watched every video of yours as I’ve been subbed for a very long time. Those cupcakes look great, never tried hostess cupcakes before, they’re not common here in Australia
Definitely going to to try this!!! Mmmmm. 😋But I think I would put the filling in from the top since it would be covered by frosting anyway. That way the filling wouldn't squeeze out from the bottom onto your clothes. Just a thought.

I can’t wait to try that filling! I have made Whoopie Pies in the past and after 3 or 4 various recipes I was always disappointed with texture. Powdered sugar has that certain mouth feel (I’m sure you know what I mean) but this recipe with corn syrup and shortening sounds like a winner. And since you endorse I am confident. Thanks!!
