I have a question on my 2003 dodge ram 1500 slt. Why does the door switch or master switch stay illuminated all the time when I leave the car parked and turned off? It drains my battery like all the time and I have to charge the battery every couple weeks or sometimes a week.
On my 2003 ram you open the driver side door and remove the panel at the end of the dash and there is a fuse panel in there also ontop of the under hood panel. My 2003 is fully loaded but my 2004 2500 with the 5.9 cummins isn't loaded with any power options so it doesnt have the extra fuse panel inside the end of the dash on the driverside

So my 3 fuses are good for the door locks... Windows all work fine but the locks do not nor with my key fob.. So i assume there is relay like most vehicles but where in the .... Is it located iv searched my truck inside n out and cant find it. Then was told it dont have a relay??? So where do i begin as i mentioned fuses are good just dont have locks? Thought about replacing switch and all door lock actuators but dont really have time or money. Especially if its a simple ghost fuse or relay
I have trouble with my power windows I replaced the switch and I can only get the passenger side of my truck to roll down but when I use the driver side everything shirts out window wise for like 5 seconds then it goes back to working the passenger side
2009 Dodgr Ram, tried replacing the door master switch but the replacement would not accept the power miror plug. The dor locks kept locking on theor own, then the front windows stopped working. The front passenger window works from the passenger side, just wont work from the drivers side. Any ideas ??
My 03 ram 1500 is draining battery & I just realized I can power my windows up/down with truck off, no key, doors locked & unlocked. Curious if that’s normal or if it’s sending power there constantly & that’s my problem (even if I’m not powering the windows up/down continuously when truck is off... thanks in advance for any reply!
@@XLeatherfaceXx Crazy enough it was my 11yr old son that made the connection that my key will come out of the IGNITION while I’m driving (while engine is on) & it still runs , w/it maybe not turning off entirely. I’d been turning truck off, but b/c ignition was loose, I wasn’t putting it in the right “OFF” position. Once I started turning it off & then testing windows …getting it “off” in that “sweet spot”, I’ll test window, low & behold - all is good ! (I got this confirmed by mechanic), as long as truck starts & I turn ignition off in right spot (which I get right 99% of the time now after a few weeks), it’s fine. At some point i probably need to replace ignition, but for now, it’s not hurting anything. I hope this helps & hope ur issue is this simple. (I’ve called my truck a money pit!!!) Finally it’s been very reliable. Best of luck.
I have an 02 ram 1500,4.7. When I start my truck with my remote,the heater/AC fan works perfect. When I start my truck with the key the fan will not work at all. If I start the truck with the remote, as soon as I push on the brake to put it in drive,the fan quits. Any ideas?
I'm losing my mind. I can't fins the circuit breaker. 2007 2500. My windows are intermittently going out. I'm guessing a short/open, the window lock wires shorten closed, or the circuit breaker.
@@antlocal80 nope. It's hard to troubleshoot an intermittent problem too. Sometimes my windows work sometimes they don't. I fixed some transmission issues and did some other things so it runs fine. But I'll be damned if there's a circuit breaker on this thing anyway.

Any idea where the alarm fuse might be??

That breaker gets loose after so many bumps so i suggest checking that make sure its on good before anything
How do you reset the circuit breaker?

Umm you said fuse 22 is important. Whats it called or read as on the panel door?
My key won’t open all my doors just the driver and when I open it sets off the alarm every time.

@@Altoweldz Yes bad wire the door jam shake it there you might get lucky otherwise it's a rub inside somewhere

Did u find the cause of the locks lock-in themselves my 2007 locks and unlocks itself as I’m driving can’t figure it out
So I can use a normal larger 25a fuse
What if it is locking and unlocking when driving or parked turned on or off. I took bolth dore switches out and it kept doing it
