Easy, Detailed, Step by Step Tutorial on Our Crochet Mini Lace Boubou Dress, FLORA ~ May 2024

'FLORA' our Mini Lace Boubou was worked in 5 main parts for a size 8 individual.
This dress can be 'dressed' up for wedding parties and corporate meetings as well as 'dressed' down for a night out with the girls.
Stitches/Patterns used were:
🧶 Lace pattern
🧶 Sc, Chains
🧶Part 1: We worked the back lace panel for or preferred length
🧶Part 2: We worked the front panel 2 - 3 inches shorter than the back panel
🧶Part 3: We joined the panels leaving room for the arm
🧶Part 4: We edged the shoulder line of the dress and attached the corners to seal the arm hole space
🧶Part 5: We created the leaves as straps for the dress completing the cold shoulder look
Body measurements required to work this dress are:
✔️Widest part of the body, usually hip
✔️Arm hole depth
✔️Desired dress length
Very easy to follow for intermediate and advanced Crochet skill levels.
Note that this same technique can be replicated for any size just by adjusting the measurements.
