hi, thank you soo much for the tutorial. i saw your post on tiktok and had it saved for a while, and have just finished making myself this skirt ahead of going away on holiday 😊 i have one question - when i decreased the hook size and did the flattening row, i now have the the granny stitch rows below puffing out a bit instead of laying flat against the body like yours does. i’m pretty sure i followed the pattern exactly… do you know how to fix this? would blocking help (did you block yours)?

We are using hips measurements for this pattern, not waist measurements. So no need for increase.

My guess would be to do a granny cluster chain one and another cluster in the same stitch as granny stitch and treat that chain one as a chain space the next round

Such an amazing tutorial! I just started this pattern and have been loving it! I have a question though. So we reduced two inches at the beginning of the pattern from our hip measurement but we never "add" that two inches back. How do we make it still fit??

Yarn is stretchy, that is why we subtract them to get a good fit.
