Hay bro,
I really appreciate your work and really enjoyable
A very small request do video on how to use the bathroom and shower on flights
CHANDRA HASAN there is only showers an a A380 first class . Only some airlines do it . Emirates. You have to pay like 25k to get the first class apartment. I’ve done it
@@ryansflightreviews5394 ur crazy
Loving the Dennis style touch. I’ve done the same for years as a superstition too.
Hello Paul from port orchard Washington. I was wondering if you thought about coming to Washington state and taking on the the trips they offer of the tour's of the waters of the Puget sound region?
Review Air Koryo, you have my seal of approval
Kim Jong-un it is as bad as sitting in a trash can
😂😂😂😂
But hey, during the flight you get free propaganda, as much of it as you can eat.
I’d rather sit in the lawn chairs that Spirit Airlines have, thank you.
@@Ama-hi5kn that's about all the North Koreans have to offer to eat, unless you're inner party.
Started watching your reviews yesterday and I’m getting addicted during this lockdown period. I like that your reviews are honest and you dish out both praise and criticism where applicable. I miss my days of working with the airlines which is over thirty years ago. Lots has changed!
Aeromexico is an underrated carrier. Thanks for the premium cabin review - I've only flown them in economy and while the meal wasn't memorable, it was substantial enough for a DFW-CUN flight and also included coffee service at a great price.
How long was the taxi lol?
Landed in pitch black in god awful weather, got off on a lovely, calm morning...
They actually landed in Rio and taxied all the way to Sao Paolo.
Lmao just realised what the actual what the hell hahahahaha
I wondered what happened too!
Flew to MEX from JFK and I swear I thought the captain was driving the plane back to New York.
@@DCONightingale have you had the "pleasure" of taxiing in Dallas Fort Worth? That airport occupies an area the size of Manhattan and depending on which terminal you arrive at and landing direction you may feel every inch of that space

Fun fact: the ceiling of the Mexico City airport is somewhat famously used for the cover art of the Beach House album "Bloom".
Oh my god is it actually, I knew it looked oddly familiar
I love that album and now love it even more thanks to you.
Mexico City was to build a bigger airport since this current one is at capacity, but dumb politicians cancel it for who knows what reason.
As always Paul, a great video, thank you. I agree with you about the window shades. On daytime west bound flights from Europe to the US, American Airlines flight attendants are obsessed with having the business class cabin in darkness and hassle you close the window shades. You're right, there are eye shades in the passengers amenity kits, so if the light is an issue, put the shades on! I like to have some natural light in the cabin on a daytime flight. At least on a 787 the windows dim and you can still see outside.
Leaving for Thailand Thursday... 4 segments, all 787 flights, ALL in business class... can't wait!!!!
Personally, i dont enjoy how many flights dim the cabin esp. for longhauls. If its night time, its dark out anyway. If its bright id rather be awake and look out the window and start adjusting to the time.
Yea Aeromexico is a top airline , they really care about their service and expect all their employees to be sharp
Alexander Hernandez Yeah, not like Volaris.
I quite enjoy your trip reports. They are fair and most importantly, honest. Not many would have noticed the runway lighting on arrival...YIKES! Greetings from CYYZ.
I have heard some good things about Aeromexico and you validated those positive stories!! Thanks, Paul! Great video.
Paul. You are the most in depth, informative reviewer out there. Only vlogger I actually take note of
I don't know how or why people can dislike your videos Paul. I absolutely love your videos! Keep up the great work mate and happy flying!
The one thing about Mexico City is that both T1 and T2 have funky designs on the windows that don’t really let you see much.Just be glad you weren’t in T1 because that terminal is kinda a mess but there is a lot of different aircraft to spot.
Versa46 _ In T1 you can barely see outside! How sad :(
Yeah, those designs are no coincidence though, they are characteristic of a post 9/11 world, where airports where designed to be more reclusive to the outside. Considering T2 was built in the 2000s decade.
I always fly Aeromexico! Such an incredible, and professional airline
I hope my country and the people here treated you with kindness. I have to agree about the lounge lacking . Wanted to thank you for coming to my humbled country and reviewing this Aeromexico. Not many have reviewed this airline so I’m thankful for your video. Glad it wasn’t to bad of a flight. Can’t wait for other travel videos of yours. You’re definitely one of my favorites.
@Ginger What a charmer you are (NOT).
Ginger oh god! A troll , no I don’t work for the airline lol 😂 I’m not so sure why you’re so upset. Why are you so racist though?
Thanks for sharing Paul. I’m on the AM 789 tomorrow in business class and my expectations are pretty high now! Hope it will live up!
This may be too late but, I was born and raised in Brazil (live in Canada now), strongly recommend you to visit Iguaçu falls, and try azul brazilian airlines (it's the brazilian jet blue), and latam A350. Unfortunately all airlines inside Brazil offer only economy seats. The best airline we had in Brazil was Avianca Brazil and it bankrupted a few months ago. Also name of the city is Sao Paulo not Sao Paolo.
AndrewSephiTV he flew azul from Campinas to Lisboa
I saw it on his instagram
Better than Varig?
Awesome having you visiting Brazil for the very first time! I love your trip reports. They are always thorough and unbiased.
Finally Brazil! Vai corinthians!!
I love Aeromexico 787-9 with the Quetzalcóatl painting.
Another great review mate. Wouldn't want to do those types of landings too often!!
Love that in-flight booze bar! A model for others to follow!
How interesting, so nice to travel like that. Thanks for taking us along!
Another great video. Thanks for sharing the experience.
I remember leaving LAX (hate that place) and was flying home to sacramento, CA (SMF) and literally saw the fog overtake the runway. They announced we would have to return to Los Angeles and I was not at all excited about that. Luckily we got a slight break to land and when the delta airlines embraer jet landed the rear wheels hit the ground a little hard to where you get that pop effect. Definitely was a moment I was pleased was over.
Thank you Paul, really awesome content. Both of my parents flew for Cathay back n da day... now I’m a lsa pilot for my hobby and passion
I like the musical ending fade out stuff. Very nice way to wrap it up!
You actually have to do the same procedure to do an international connection via the USA too.
Chrispytoast123- Yes. I was surprised when Paul mentioned that about international connections. We had to enter and leave the USA when connecting at LAX. And of course, the ESTA has to be current when making the international connection. Still, we went out of the airport doors and crossed off Los Angeles from our must-see bucket list.
That seems to be the procedure in the three North American countries. I never understood why. Even Saudi Arabia, which is an extremely closed country and very hard to get a visa for, allows airside connections with no immigration checks, as Paul himself has shown connecting in Jeddah on Saudia.
@Ginger , OK, Prof. Dr. Grammar Führer, what should I have written instead?
@@pjobpjobpjob Awful grammar, awful attitude. They weren't lecturing anyone just informing.
That is why I missed my flight last time I connected through Houston ...3 hours to clear immigration. There has to be a considerable saving and long connection before I will transit through the US in the future.
Very detailed review! Excellent, my friend.
Great video yet again Paul, cheers.
That landing reminded me of a landing at Heathrow from Frankfurt, we entered into that 1983 hurricane in England just as we came over Dover, to say our imagining the pilots fighting to control the landing at Heathrow was real .... they got a round of applause when we finally stopped...phew that was scary....
I always enjoy watching your vlogs Paul very informative and you always give a fair and accurate assessment of the inflight services. Keep up the good work.
Aeromexico has a great product lately especially their hard product, the soft product needs some work depending on the route but blows the local competition outta the water
Hi Paul, I use to be a Travel Agent. I watch your channel on RUclips often, something you always mention is your price for one way. Did you know if you purchase a return flight (whether you are returning or not) and stay over on a Saturday (just one) you will get a substantial discount on your price. Remember a going and coming, with a stay over on a Saturday ticket saves you money.
Glad you made it safely! The landing did look a bit goofy..Thanks for another great vid!
Hi. Paul. I am a regular user of MEX 25 plus trips Because you where using Aero Mexico it uses gates nearer to passport control, If you are on a BA or other similar US/European airlines, they use the building at the end of T1 which can take up to 20 mins walk to get to and is full high end branded shops from around the world. T2 is much smaller terminal. Also MEX is thought to be the busiest airport in Central America.
Thinking of flying Aeromexico from Seattle to Mexico City.........glad to hear you were pleased with their product and performance!
Aeromexico safety outstanding and amazing pilot skills. The Autoland in that weather on 789 is uneventful
Enjoy all of your reports; this one was great!
Holes, holes everywhere- You’d think it was a Swiss airport terminal
This is hilarious! I had to pause Paul to get my self back together!
its mostly for natural liting and its lovly to see the planes tru the windows
If there are pancakes to be had, Paul will be on it. Machine made or in Business class.
SethC12 true 😂😂
The Transit is pretty much the same as USA for international to international flight: you have to get into the country, pass immigration and then get back to the gate. Nice vid!
Nice video .... I also LOVE watching the route map when I fly 😀😀 Joao Dutra, São Paulo, Brazil
Welcome to Brazil!!
Hope you enjoy it
very helpful information about Surshark Thank you!
This happened to me also when flying AA from JFK to GRU. We had to divert to Brasilia due to fog in Sao Paulo. Caos... Sao Paulo often have foggy mornings so now I avoid flights landing before 10am.
Try visiting The Maldives at one point.
Good choice with the pancakes those looked yummy
Welcome to São Paulo!
Hope you have a great time here
Wonderful video Paul! Enjoyed it! Liked!
I just found a vlog I apparently missed Paul
As always a great vlog !
Interesting note about the second, smaller Business class section. I often see these sections but avoid them with the idea of crew getting to that section after the main section. But maybe I'll rethink when I book my next flight. I usually sit in seat 1 no matter who I fly with and yet not always the best service in seat 1.
there was a sign saying it has wifi next to the door as you got on!
Aeromexico at its best Paul.Great video of flight report
Omg winnning!!! Been waiting for this . Thank you absolutely love your work !!!!!!
Excellent video, Paul..
Thanks for another good video. The quick peek at the end of the Air Angola plane was intriguing!
Used to fly with them in the 80's, Luanda to Cabinda, Angola.'Intreresting' is the word to describe the airline back then :)
Admittedly, I almost never fly long-haul for work, but the feeling of being disconnected for ten or so hours is actually quite nice.
Wow, Paul.....I could hear the harsh, gale-force winds beating on your plane. I don't mind storms, as being from Orlando, FL I am used to them.....but wind has always scared me. Especially strong winds. I'm glad you are safe!
love it "revise your expectations downwards"
Im glad you had a good experience with our mexican airline
The year was 1977. My wife and I flew Aeromexico to Cozumel. No problema. Our return trip? Not so. We took off from Cozumel and were flying along to Houston Intercontinental, when suddenly the aircraft started banking. Out the window all I could see was jungle. We landed somewhere in the boondocks. The cabin door opened and some guy unceremoniously starts shouting 'everyone get off the plane'. The plane was packed, so it took some time before my wife and I got off. We approached a line of tables with folks behind said tables and armed Federales. Suddenly someone starts shouting 'everyone get back on the plane'. We turned around and passengers still deplaning turned around and entered the aircraft. After all were aboard, we took off and landed uneventfully in Houston. No explanation of any kind was given by the flight crew. We marked Mexico and Aeromexico off our bucket list.
BTW: the door to the flight deck was open the entire flight. We could see the pilots. Times have changed.
Great video! One of these days you'll have to tell us exactly how many sleep masks you've collected the last couple of years!!
Flown AM into and out of MEX from ATL many times over the years and have come to loathe it during winter months. Outside Mexico many do not realize that the airport is unheated and in February during early morning hours it is down right cold inside the terminal. No heat. Sure it may or may not warm up later in the day but during the morning and night it is COLD.
I wold not have enjoyed that landing as a nervous flyer x thanks for sharing - I enjoyed watching xx
enjoyed this Paul. shame the 787/9 is not used London Mexico but Madrid Paris and Amsterdam is??
Thanks for the tip about using a vpn for looking for flights. Great review as usual.
Another great video!! Thank you
Paul, you certainly ARE now a WORLD TRAVELER!!!!
Use the back of the spoon for your coffee and use the spoon part for yoghurt......simples.
Something about this airport makes me feel claustrophobic 😳 great video as always!
KrystalKBeauty oh and that’s just Terminal 2, the “newer” terminal built in 2007. Terminal one is far worst, the windows are covered in gray panels you can barely see outside! Terminal 2 is LUXURY compared to Terminal 1.
Yet another great video!
Looks like a very nice flight!
As an Av Geek, I'm incredibly disappointed that you didn't even make mention of the TAAG Angola plane opposite you while disembarking in GRU. I'm sure quite few of your viewers have seen one of those in person.
I’d never considered flying Aero Mexico. You have me intrigued.
You may want to edit the title: it's Sao Paulo not Sao Paolo
To be even more accurate it is spelled São Paulo.
São
Awesome video man! Thank you for sharing! Liked:)
Ur videos are so cool and lovely keep it up!
Great work Paul!
Paul just love your blogs.
Thanks 4 the video, i'll fly on that same plane but on economy to buenos aires on winter
@AgusAviation funny seeing you here lol
You should use one end of the spoon for yogurt and the other end of the spoon for your coffee.
Great vlog of the airline Paul!
Paul, great review. Thanks
Howdy, awesome video as always! That was some terrible looking weather!😸😸
Thanks Paul, great video!
Hi Paul, Very impressive..thoroughly enjoyed...
Love your reviews mate!
The spoon thing is typically Spanish. You often get only one spoon or even 1 set of cutlery for an entire meal. No big deal, it saves water and is environmentally friendly.
always love watching you gobbling all those in-flight meals~~^^ It shows over time ya know~ ;)
Great review, always love your content please keep posting more videos.
Good review Paul. I've always wondered about Aeromexico's food offering. I think they fly non-stop to Tokyo. Would be curious to see what they serve in Economy. I love the 787.
Yes, they flight non-stop to Tokyo. Great experience, food is OK, you can get pasta (spaguetti with pomodoro sauce and cheese) or grilled chicken with rice; prior to landing you get a sandwich, and of course unlimited peanuts and soda.
Actually I prefer flying with Aeromexico to Asia than with any US airline, specially the fact that we avoid LAX’s long immigration lines!
Execellent, comprehensive, straightforward report as usual. I do not like the compulsory darkening of the cabin, I want to see what's down below ! I think it's an excuse sometimes for the crew to have a "rest" !
This was great. I now know what to expect out of Mexico City's T2 lounge.
We do live in different worlds. Even when I'm serving dinner to special guests: using dishes that match, real paper napkins instead of paper towels, and getting out the unbent stainless flatware, everybody gets only one spoon (and one fork). I suppose that with the price of a business class ticket, one expects pampering.
Love the channel Paul, look forward to the Sunday morning upload. I've been watching near on 6 months+ now and notice more and more business class reviews which maybe doesn't represent the majority of the market however, I've never flown business class nor do I forsee it in the future, perhaps some more economy reviews would be welcomed but keep up the good work nonetheless!
exactly, about 95% of the viewers fly economy. (But still, good videos)
thanks. yes as is oftent even the case with mexico, or mexico city, aeromexico, is underrated. Ive flown much better business classes, but AM does a very good job in general. I recently flew business from Mexico city to Seoul (before the flight was suspended) and the service was excellent, though the food was not quite as nice as on your flight to SAO. Also, just as a note, MEX handled 50 million passengers in 2020 (before Covid) and although Terminal 1 is quite old and a simple lineal design it is QUITE long - in other words the airport is not as small as you mention in your video. T2 is smaller and much newer, so I understand how you might get the overall impression of a small airport. Still, I quite enjoyed your video. Thanks!
Very nice.....Fly safe always...
