Surprise Upgrade! Reviewing Aeromexico's 787-9 Business Class

- In September, a member of the Simple Flying team flew roundtrip from São Paulo - Aeroporto Internacional de Guarulhos to Miami International Airport via Mexico City Airport. This journey was completed with the SkyTeam alliance airline Aeromexico.
Our lucky traveler had originally purchased an economy fare, but the wonderful Aeromexico staff at Sao Paulo upgraded them to their Clase Premier after boarding. This is what the airline calls its business class product.
Considering our review had never flown Aeromexico before,their trip was off to a great start! So let’s take a look at the premium class journey with today’s video!

Most horrible experience ever on all levels with them . Broken AM Plus chair and getting a voucher is like the world upside down, I will never ever fly with that greedy airliner again

@@jaimemontano2674 wish i could say the same ...unfortunately that is not the case and it was not my first time flying with them, they are cold and no empathy whatsoever

Did they see your reviewer coming and upgrade them because of who they were? Since zucchini is also known as courgette, I call it courgetti when used as spaghetti and zudles when used as noodles.

I wonder if the person flying is a frequent flyer for skyteam? I'd be more inclined to say that aeromexico oversold economy, saw high frequent flyer status on a partner skyteam airline and upgraded them (given that upgrades are commonly status based afterall).
I would say considering the fact the reviewer got to board the plane before anyone else, I would say they realized the person is a reviewing the flight, hence the special treatment. The reviewer got upgraded at the gate, not at checkin, so I doubt it's due to frequent flyer status.

How does someone get upgraded to business form economy after boarding?
I have flown with the carrier from Tokyo to Mexico City , Mexico City to Los Angeles , Mexico City to can cub . My experiences on board this airline have never been memorable, nor enjoyable.
