Thank you for choosing Aeromexico for this video, this kind of videos help us to impove the service everyday
Do you work for them !? Nice !! 👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
Putovala sam za Mexico 2019 g 🇲🇽 💗.Volim Mexico 🙏
Imagine the first class??
@@cafbfran6523 That's not how it works. Just because their economy is good, doesn't mean the other classes are also extra good.
@@TheEchelon actually that is how it works… IF economy is bad, business is Also bad.
Honestly, I fly Aeromexico a lot, their 787 cabin is probably one of the more comfortable ones around, (comparing with AAL and United), the seat feels bigger and the food is just better, Ive flown the MEX-EZE route many times and Aeromexico is always my top choice if the prices are decent.
Yes,it did look very comfy !! 👍👍But,I just googled & it said their safety doesn't match FAA 's safety standard & it downgraded to 2nd level ? I just read a Delta spokesman? said it was nothing to do with AeroMexico ,it's a lot to do with Mexican government & he believed this airlines is incredibly safe !! Also ,they were chosen as 3rd place for passenger's choice ! Very impressive !! 👏 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️🇲🇽💞
Aeromexico is amazing. I am very surprised. Their product and service in regular economy is much better than many so called "major" carriers. They do proper catering and have a very high standard. After seeing this, I certainly would opt for Aeromexico over many others. I am very impressed.
I would definitely recommend Aeroméxico's economy class, but don't fly AM Plus (premium economy)! Unless you're sitting at a bulkhead there's no noticeable difference. It's a rip-off.
14:35 Mexico can´t have designs like Hong Kong Airport because it is built over a massive lake, like all Mexico City. The Architect that planned Benito Juarez Int´l Airport designed it to be prepared for earthquakes, that is the reason because it has like a "cage" style. Thank you for the report!
Aeromexico provides a very good alternative to the LCC's and ultra-LCC's that dominate the Mexican domestic and regional market. Their narrowbody product in all classes is consistently very good and the cabins are well-maintained, and it's better than American, United or Delta. I've never flown their long-haul widebody routes, but I would definitely consider AM on a long-haul flight from California to South America.
As for MEX's T2, the design leaves much to be desired, but it is functional, there are good food and shopping options, the lounges are decent and when it's not crammed with people during peak travel times it's easy to navigate. Keep in mind that when it was designed there was little available space on the airport grounds to put it and the design had to fit into the tight space. Flawed as it may be, it's still loads better than T1.
an interesting note about the Aeromexico registrations: some of their max 8s are leased from Ireland based companies are carry EI registrations. they all have very simplified versions of the livery and some of them still have the Norwegian flag on the winglets (a remnant of when they were leased to Norwegian)
You're so knowledgeable !! 👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
I’m a Mexican and i always try to book with Aeromexico they’re the best airline in the world 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽 VIVA MEXICO
Good for you
Lol nah
Me suena que trabajas para aeromexico😂
@@christophercott8517What do you mean
GRU Airport has free wi-fi in all terminals. Also the terminal 2 is the first/original terminal when this airport was built, and it is from 1985. In fact no important renovations were made at it, except the security area (passport and x-ray control)
Great video! Thank you for the review. I recently returned from Mexico. I flew LHR - MEX return in economy. The seats were comfortable and the food was decent for the 11 hour flight. I wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again.
Great video as always. Yeah long flight but considering the price, I still would thought this is a good value for money! Impressed with two hot meals per session
Terminal 2 of São Paulo - Guarulhos International Airport is undergoing an Expansion / Renovation but started in the domestic area. The new domestic area is brighter with plenty of seating and shops, but yes the International Part of Terminal 2 is still the same since when it was open but they are planning on renovating that area as well. Since most international flights depart from Terminal 3 they are doing the renovation at a slower pace, unfortunately. But better than no renovation I suppose.
Yes.... I agree with you.
Muy bien Aeroméxico dejando en alto el nombre a nuestro país 👍🙏😍👍
Bobo. Aeromexico no deja en alto el nombre de tu país. Solo deja en alto o en bajo el nombre de su compáñia.
Really love you cover economy class mostly. Many other reviewers, once they have a big subscription base, start to fly only business...
Much better than Iberia or British Airways long flights haul...
British Airways is piece of 💩 airline, and the food is terrible
Definetely my favorite airline in the Americas. On time, very kind people and lots of comfort.
In America. There's one America only. If you refer to a shithole country that's United States of America USA not America because América is a big continente.
Aeromexico are very good I've flown 4 times before 😊
To be fair, the second terminal at AICM was designed like that because was concepted as temporary solution for carrying the huge crowding of the airport, as the government had planned a new airport (NAICM) for the capital at Texcoco.
Please do a Brutally Honest of the new Brussels Airlines.
What do you mean NEW Brussels Airlines, they have existed for a while
@@heidirabenau511 They have new logo and style, a bit like rebranded
He should wait until we have our new a320 neo aircraft in 2023
Yes please
@@arthplayz74 but does it change anything in the travel experience?
So skyteam are the way to go really. Between Air France, KLM, Delta/Virgin and AeroMexico.
20 hours flight and 4 meal services, nice!. Hopefully I could fly Aeromexico someday
I love the ‘Brutally Honest’ format, especially the beginning! Keep up the great work David!!
I've never been on Areomexico but they look pretty good!!
I’ve flown with aero Mexico a few years ago from Lima to Mexico City then to EWR on United. Really good service and even though it might’ve been on a 737 or some other plane their service was nice and was one of the best I’ve experienced as I’ve flown to and from a lot of places.
Great review. To be considered AM used Metal cutlery no long time ago. AM serves a good experience on long haul flights hope they keep improving.
Great video, as someone who lives in Iowa always love to see a local company mentioned. Yay, Collins Aerospace!
São Paulo was worst before, they have came a long way. I just appreciate the fact that they have no carpet, also terminal 3 is very nice. They do have free Wi-Fi but only up to 2 hours, but there are ways around it.
Why only 2 hours? In other South American airports such as Quito, Ecuador (UIO) have unlimited free Wi-Fi
Good job, AeroMexico! 👍👍👍👍👍
hi,love the airport and plane layouts, nobody else has done this...great addition...😃
Lol,I tell people that I couldn't get a bad meal in Mexico even when I tried to!I am in no way surprised the airplane food is good too!
I am a Delta frequent flyer and grew up in a Delta family,so I have flown on AeroMexico several times and have always been impressed.
Last time I flew with the airline was more than 10 years ago 😊. At that time I like this airline a lot. New plane and nice service.
I LOVE brutally honest. It's even better than your normal reviews
Great video, once again, thanks a lot ! The only thing I dislike in this flight is the fact that the windows are blinded by the crew, too bad... Keep on with these fantastic flight reports ! :-)
Another great video, thanks a lot for this. One thing I hate about the Dreamliner is the crew-controlled windows. Just can’t find a decent reason for forcing night when it’s plain daylight. A shame. Apart from that, AM does an outstanding job! Thanks again for showing what Y is like 👍🏽
Awesome to see these regularly, really enjoying the content so keep it up!
Saludos desde México
Efectivamente, Aeroméxico es una excelente aerolínea :)
I was waiting for this video!!
Finally!
Thanks simply aviation 😃😃😃🥰🥰
I need to be in that terminal in Mexico City to judge whether that design makes me uncomfortable, but as an avgeek, not having windows to view the planes outside is unfortunate. As for the flights, really impressive offerings as mentioned. I've never taken a daytime flight on the 787, except for one time we had a morning landing into Tokyo, with sunrise happening an hour before landing. I did not have a problem with the windows. Even if I did, I'd still actively seek out to fly on the 787 and David sat in the very best seat to enjoy the Dreamliner, for the second leg to Madrid. Sitting at the very back of the wing just in front of door 3, you get that amazing wing view and the mechanical whining of the 787 hydraulics are loudest here. If you're flying a 787, I could not recommend that seat more, unless you don't like that loud whine, in which case, sit in the rear section.
Two years ago flew from Toronto to Ecuador via Copa Airlines - the most underrated airline
Great service, wonderful food, and free drinks that 9ncluded wine and scotch
For me Aeromexico is one of the best airlines in the world, my first time i travel with them was in 2016 AND IT WAS AMAZING
smooth landing as well !
Again, a great video! I also was very impressed by Aeromexico on my flight from Costa Rica to Canada 🙂
Your videos on the channel are as close to a televison programme as can be, love your channel!
Aeromexico is always my first option when flying, I have been many times at Benito Juarez Airport and never noticed the missing windows 🪟
I agree about that terminal in MEX. I don’t know who came up with that idea of having little holes to look outside the apron. But great video!! I’ve never had any problems with Aeromexico
Wow !! I am impressed !! Perfect landing at the end ,too ! You're right on the foods & their efforts showed through !! 👍👍I loved that they used biodegradable utensils !! ( the route to Spain ) The airport, though ...lol.no window at all is not right !! My mom will go crazy as she's claustrophobic !! Also , some people have a phobia with holes ,they're not gonna take it well, either !! Lol.👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
An airport without windows does not make sense to me. The most fun of waiting in an airport is the view of the planes! I also absolutely HATE the dimming windows. I always look out and take pictures or video when flying. I make sure to open the shade just a little slot on the bottom, enough for me to see without illuminating the entire row, but I need that.I flew on Air Canada Dreamliner once and got a little claustrophobic, not being able to enjoy the views. I never flew with them or on a Dreamliner since. Thank goodness !!
i agree so much on the windows part!!! I always try to avoid T2 just because of the windows, a big part of my joy when flying is plane spotting from the gate’s windows and T2 is kind of depressing in my opinion
I live in Mexico City and I asked about it and it's basically a post 9/11 ''safety precatuion'' which is very stupid IMO.
One reason there aren't many windows in Mexico city airport is because mexico city is built upon a lake. The lake used to be the capital of the ancient Aztecs and they chose a island in the middle of the lake because it was easily defendable. But since the airport is on top of a lake it is very prone to earthquakes so they have little windows.
I truly love the creative intro
Up for this
Excellent video. Thanks for coming to Mexico !!!
Those are international flights. Aeroméxico has a very different operation for domestic Economy flights to compete with low cost carriers Volaris and Viva Aerobus. Basically, Aeroméxico domestic flights are low cost flights with a complimentary drink.
basically sounds like Intra-European flights or god forbid continental Avianca flights
About the small glass, it was a common features for many East Asian airlines including SIA and THAI. Unfortunately they have phased out this as serving trays become smaller and perhaps due to cost cutting measures. For THAI, it was replaced by a small bottle of water.
I cant believe only Aeromexico still have this kind of service while Avianca does not anymore.
@@williamsudarpo Avianca trying to not fall into bankruptcy is impossible. I imagine that service was stopped due to budget cuts
Nice flight review of Aeromexico.
Great trip report
I flew on a direct flight with AeroMexico dreamliner from Incheon (Seoul) to Mexico City (13 hour flight) and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd definitely fly them again and I highly recommend them. They served lots of food and we had Internet for the flight, but for a fee. It wasn't free. But worth paying to stay connected with your family on the ground.
Fantastic video David!😸
let's go AEROMEXICO
🍇💕🔥
we love AeroMexico 🇲🇽
Three Dreamliner videos in a row, great report and comparison! 👍
Super video!
Great video!
Great video, thank for sharing
Great flight and review. Even though the duration of flight is long, but still comfortable
Hi David 👋 Thank you so much for this video. I've already watched most of Simply Flying videos. I only watch your videos and Felix' Please feature a video of the deployment and retraction of the Boeing 747 wing slats when you have the opportunity of flying with this type of aircraft. I really appreciate that you always feature the amenities and meals of the airline you fly with. Warm regards 😉👍💯
AM has some great fares from Spain to GRU for like 1200EUR round trip in business which is a great deal. Well, they used to have them earlier this year, not sure if they're still available. But it's worth checking out =)
Love the Aeroméxico review, as it is my country's flagship airline, and about T2, I agree, the design in terms of views and openeess of space is terrible and more so for us Aviation enthusiasts. I don't think its is that lousy, as it is kept clean, functional and with lots of shops.
Considering the limited space available to build T2 they did a decent job. It may not be an av-geek's paradise, but it does the job very well. Mexico City needs a new airport: perhaps the solution is to temporarily transfer all traffic to Felipe Angeles whilst MEX is redeveloped.
@@ericmabley2120
Yes we do need a new airport 😭😭😭😭 wer were going to have one, a big one but someone canceled it 😭😭😭😭.
About the Felipe airport, that airfield is more than an hour away from the City, and the trip there is not the most convenient. I think it is not the best solution, considering infrastructural limitations.
and also it doubles as an Air Force base . 😞
@@reubenblanco3021 🙁
I literally laughed when you said at 9:42 😄 . Because i never that word from you . By the way wonderful video David . fans from 5years .
excelent video thanks!
Mexican living in Canada, I used to take AirCanada all the time due to low prices at least below AeroMexico but the services were always bad, if you arent american they treat you horrible like really bad even racist, so I started taking AeroMexico paying bit more but really worth it, service is good and also the free food they provide is a big plus, highly recommended, Good Job for AeroMexico keep it up!!
My Great Aeromexico ❤
Another great video! Would love to see an Aerolineas Argentinas review on this series one day!
Great review 😊
9:40 "not a greedy basterd who is into airplane food" got me there
I have never used Aeromexico for international flights, but just recently flew for the first time in a domestic flight from Durango to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo with a connection in Mexico City Airport Benito Juárez terminal 1, which by the way is pretty old and its bathrooms are not kept clean. Aeromexico planes used in this trip were the Embraer fleet. I normally fly American Airlines and Alaska Airlines and pay from 30 to 40 dollars per piece of baggage, when Aeromexico charged me from 70-80 dollars per each checked bag and because I had a connection in CDMX, they charged a double fee for a total of almost 500 dollars for 2 bags from Durango to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and back, RIDICULOUS!! First and last time I would fly Aeromexico! Watch out!
For domestic flights I don't recommend Aeromexico, try Viva Arebus or Volaris, but recently both airlines have also bad reputation with similar cases as you mention. For international travels Aeromexico is fair for me, and the service was good.
@aeromexico is no doubt a great flag carrier. Service is superb and planes are cozy and comfortable.
Love the Intro
This certainly the best aviation-reviewing channel in my opinion. Everything required has been reviewed perfectly. Anyway, I wanted to ask which airline is the best for flying economy class in your opinion. Thank you
Thanks a lot AeroMexico is excelent
Option for travel , I like so much 😍🎇❤️💯
Can i point out just how good the Intro is ? I really love all the little Details in it so much that i pause right there and just look at it, so yeah cool little Detail to really good Videos :)
nice trip
Awesome
Also, How did you manage to book 2 flights for less than 500 euros?!!!! 😲😲😲😲😲
Wow😊
Aeromexico is definitely doing a great job even in medium haul. An awesome meal service was offered on a 3hr 30min flight!
Porter Airlines also serves all drinks in real glasses! (They only do economy class). Hope your team will cover them some day. They're great.
São Paulo ❤
nice report
Crew buttered both of those landings!
Definitely did. If I was sleeping I doubt the plane touching land would've woke me up with that smooth landing
Hello. I am from Brazil, and do have some comments about GRU airport. It has undergone some innovations yes - however, AM uses terminal 2, mainly the old part of the terminal. It has deficient air conditioning (but it exists) and WiFi is free all around. Possibly you have been unlucky. Terminal 3 (used by major international airlines) is wine compared to water. Possibly it has to do with airport fees paid by the airline.
AEROMEXICO ! 💙🇲🇽 is Cool
This is very interesting !! Just started watching now ! 👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
I always found the immigration requirement for interntional transfers at MEX was odd; it can add well over an hour to your transfer time. Tranferring in BOG, SAL, LIM, and PTY is much more easy!
10 out of 10
Aeromexico is the BEST airline to travel to and from Mexico. I did the mistake of flying Volaris recently and well basically you get what you oay for.
Fun fact: the plane XA-ADC is flying rn at time of speaking Mexico to Sauo Paulo 3.5 hours in - seen at 0:05
Nice
Great review. The onboard service is very impressive. Cheers.
Im from Mexicali a border city with California. Regarding MX.Terminal 2 its big but, it does has its downside like with those holes not giving you a full view of the surrounding areas. I havent took an overseas flight with AeroMexico, just domestics from my city toMexico City. I flew mainly to asia with Korean Air to Seoul and Eva air to Vietnam with a Taiwan connnnection, also a Great flying experience
Could you fly with Air New Zealand one day please?
The airport in Mexico is really good and i have been there before
Great video! Airports without WIFI is unfortunately a common thing in Africa. Worst international airport is Beira, Mozambique. Toilets have most of the time no running water😅
i'm from mexico and i went to kenya in january.. i arrived and departed from nairobi's jomo kenyatta and oh god.. worst airport i've been to. old, crowded, dirty, and of course no wifi 🥴
