- Way of the Hunter PS5 Gameplay 4K 60FPS. Hey guys, it's Rubhen here with the intro to the game on the PS5 in Performance Mode. It's a hunting like sim. I ran into quite a lot of pop up issues, even with playing on Performance Mode, and I got a bit frustrated after trying to shoot the deer. They run away so easily and crouch walking to chase them without spooking takes so long lol. The game does seem to have some optimization issues. Even with the Day 1 patch. Enjoy the video.

Game is a bit rough at the moment, pop in and optimization issues, on top of that the hunting is a bit annoying and gets me easily frustrated. This is definitely a niche game. lol.

My guess is after a few optimization updates it will be worth picking up. For the meantime I'm enjoying call of the wild.

@@bikeralley try setting it to performance mode
Follow that up with going into system settings and setting default game settings to performance so all games are smooth as soon as you play them (unless its a shitty old gen game with no setting for it)
Bought call of the wild like a month back but i can’t wait for way of the hunter to go on Sale AGAIN!!! Great games to just sit back and relax not like those other sweaty games u have to be in the zone for like MW2, Fifa, Apex, etc…

I like how to man goes to the mountain screams AHOOOYYYY to all the animals to spook them and to welcome the glitches and bugs and performance issues! AHOOOY!

PS5 Deer Caller is suppose to be a 3-way device. How do you switch between the 3 modes?
Hello, I bought a deer whistle, but I could not change the setting for calling female deer or for males. Do you know how it was changed?
I think I'll wait for a couple patches on PS5 before I buy it. That frame drop and texture pop would really be a downer

The pop in and frame dips really bummed me out. I was so excited to play, but it's to annoying to enjoy
Wow!! How do you shoot an animal when they glitch across the screen?
Every animal that I've shot just disappeared on me I shot a whole herd gave 4 deers 2 shots each found none

It’s like call of the wild:the hunter except 10x better wow i love how it shows the whole bullet trajectory that’s how it should be and all the organs in color what an amazing game I almost want to buy no sale but ima have to wait for it to be cheaper…
The technical condition is anything but good. Let's wait and see how it looks in 6 months.

What resolution is the game running at in performance mode? Also are you getting a consistent 60fps? Trying to choose between buying the game on pc or ps5.
It's really badly optimized on pc currently just returned to get on ps5

I will buy this game only because is 60fps. Call of the wild is a great game but I tired playing it in ps5 with ps4 graphics and fps. They have to do something about that if they want to stand next to this game.

Unfortunately on PlayStation, yes. I am just afraid that the devs will drop the game cause the Playerbase on ps5 might be too small or anything similar idk

The game doesn't support 60fps so you wasted time on 60 fps rendering because we wont see actual 60 fps, i hope you knew that beforehand lol.
It's absolutely 💩 the popping texts I look at a rock face and we'll it looks like ps3 or 2 rendering or whatever it's not good for console yet please believe me don't get this game yet I have a lg oled c2 and the game looks 💩 to play you look though the binoculars and all the grass dissappear it's not ready for console yet don't wast money 👊😎

honestly i found this game too slow for my liking with too many details. I like hunting games like the Cabela's hunt where animals come at you and you get them rather than going around wandering
So you want a hunting game without hunting. Lame. Go play call of duty.
Once you unlock their feed, water, and rest positions, you don't go wondering anymore.
They lost my money the moment they used God's name in vain. Would have purchased.
