    Good tips for beginners right there! One thing I would add for beginners though and that is that before you shoot, mark the spot where the animal is and don't put your gun down right after shot (assuming you use scope) but try to follow where the animal goes. If you see the animal drop you can also mark that spot. Of course if one wants to play realistic; then no marking.

    My advice is to buy something more powerful for deer after you finish the tutorial missions than what the game tells you in the tutorial. .243 is decent for deer but IRL hunters use bigger calibers, and you should use them in the game too. I went from .243 to .270 and man is it more satisfying, and if takes the animals less time to die so I don't have to track them for long. Haven't tried the .30 calibers yet

      In game the 243 feels very underpowered. It took 3 shots to bring down a Mule Deer, all 3 were vitals and the first two were double lung

    i got this game because it was on sale and i enjoyed your videos, and i found a young buck that has potential i think. how long in game would i have to wait for him to become mature?

      I believe 1 year in game is 3 in game days and each day is roughly 15-30 mins of real time (or 1-2 in game hours) so in total it should be 18 in game days to reach the early mature stage and 24 days in total to reach the late stage mature or death, which I believe is 6 hours of real time from 1 year old young to 8 year old mature... this only applies to the whitetail of course because each animal has different ages which you can see those in the Encyclopedia... someone correct me if I am wrong 😁👍

      @@mag-u9qI bagged a couple albino deer, one male and one female. Should have left the male to mature and grow the antlers tho, it would have made a decent trophy as a 77%. I saw 1 star adult and took a shot
      Christmas has definitely come to the game

      @ oh yeah christmas definitely came but i’m so dumb. i bought a 30-06 and to test it out i shot the first mule deer i saw and he was a young 1 star, i harvested him and he was 91% genetics

      let me add on to this how does the life cycle work so how long would whitetail drink

    • @ObsessivelyCleanGaming
      @ObsessivelyCleanGaming  4 дня назад

      So spam sleeping will only change the time, keep an eye on its fur if it is almost white looking then he is ready to go. It is a risk to keep letting him mature because you really don't know what stage of mature he is on, so you could sleep and he could die.

      Typically for me I have seen them leave the zone an hour to an hour and a half before the next zone starts. They have to travel.
