I would LOVE the ability to tag an animal. Not so you have wall hacks or can see them on the map but so when you go back and look for that animal after growing it, you KNOW it is the right animal

It seems like they run a lot longer than they should. I’ve killed over 30 deer and I can count on one hand how many actually ran from a double lung shot from a .270 or .300WSM no matter the distance. The shock from hitting both lungs usually just knocks them dead in their tracks, if not they jump twice and fall over.
Yeah last year alone I got 5. Bow doe ran 20 yards Bow buck ran 75 7mag doe ran 40 7mag doe ran maybe 100. And the 7mag buck fell where he was hit. Double lung shots for me in the game run super far.

They definitely went overboard with the blood trailing/tracking aspect in the game. I like that they bed down and can get up but in my experience they don’t usually get back up unless you hop out of the tree and go plowing after them. I’m not a hunter that takes bad shots at deer so I guess it could be as bad as in the game. The 10 point on my wall I shot at around 200 yards with a .270 and it never moved, just fell over dead.
Been loving this game so far,just got the 308 and 300 along with the best scope,found a 4 star moose this morning hopefully I can find him as a 5 star,working on unlocking the bottom parts of the map too
@@javoncarter5177 they are going to be added down the line, there's numerous things they need to add mostly just QOL things but i highly recommend getting it its leaps better than COTW and the hunter classic
They need to make the zoom on the scopes more realistic, 14x at 150yards should fill up half the scope. The binoculars also need to zoom in more it doesn’t look like you can see the animals that great.
Hi i just struggle so much at retrieving my animals that i shot.When i mark my deer and i end up finding no blood at all on my spot..... 6 or 7 of them i could not find in 4 hours played......It is not that simple.I will go for neck or spine today.Still i think the blood is so hard to see in grass.I need money because i need a stronger scope.The first scope you get is so hard to use for 200 meters shots.The hunt continues later.I don’t care about genetics ,i just want to find my animals shot.Still great footage Crow

Watch the direction they run, that helps a ton also check every sign you come acrooss to unlock hunter sense while walking it helps so much. Also I highly recommend lung/heart shots only and not shooting unless it’s a close clear shot until you get better rifles and scopes

Ya know It dosent really matter to me. But i wish I could see the streams live. Like I'm in school till 2:55 and don't get home till 3:40 so I can't catch the streams live. But I still watch the recordings of them so its good. Also love the videos lately.
I shot a 1 star adult mule deer last night and when I claimed him it said his genetic potential was 99.16%… I was super confused. I feel like with almost perfect genetics he should’ve been a 3 star minimum
First hunt their I ran into a heard with a 3 star adult white tail and a adult albino female ended up going after the female instead cuz I wasn't gonna pass on the free albino.
Loving the game! Only thing I'm yet to find is a gray wolf. Hunting the one in Quatro Colinas was maybe my most favorite time in Cotw. I really hope they add defensive features to the animals where they charge you. It's not much hunting a wolf or a bear if they can't hunt you.
I think they already have got (some) defensive/aggressive features. I was attacked by an american badger. I was lining up a shot for a mule deer and out of nowhere the edges og my screen became red and my character made a sound. It then ran away and returned 30 seconds later for the next attacks, and then one more attack run before it decides it was done messing with me
ive been wondering this too, best i can figure is the heard population: Ff there are 3 bucks, an adult a mature and a young buck, by the time the racks change for the younger 2 of them the mature will be either dead by your hand if your hunting responsibly, or dead due to old age if your only observing, so then the adult from before will be the new mature and the young from before will be the new adult, ideally with different star ratings than the now dead deer. i only have 14 hours in game, but as far as i can tell you just have to eyeball it we know this is FOR SURE a thing so just follow your gut and always try to take the mature deer when you can especially if they are big because by that point the genetics have already been passed down.
@@Laubsterr i never said there were only those 3 in a herd....I literally said: "Best I can figure is the heard population. IF there are 3 bucks, an adult a mature and a young buck." I've seen herds with 1 buck, herds with 4 bucks and even up to 6 for the really large ones, it just depends. I was giving a basic example its not always going to be an exact number. But that is the way to try identifying a buck. Go by the amount you usually see in a herd and their age, when you notice an antler and/or age change you'll at least have an idea which deer is which
Mule deer rack was pretty wack in the earlier part of the video, but it's funny you brought up the 30 minute buck growth since you were the one that was playing the game and stated you watched the buck grow bigger in 30 minutes smdh. I could understand if it was day to day in game growth but a few hours c'mon man.
Not sure if it's just for consoles or what but the graphics they claim to have suck really bad the from the grass to the animals it's horrible I shouldn't be the only one seeing all the imperfections of a new release game but story mode is fun as long as you can get past the headache from the graphics

Call me silly but maybe you shouldn't put titles such as these, considering that everyone's herds are randomized. With that in mind, titles such as these are kinda misleading.

You can still use hunter sense while moving if you go into sneak mode by pressing ctrl

Turn on hunter sense and click on the trail. Give it a second and it will highlight that one and then pulsate the next 3 or 4 spots in a row.
The game seems like it's starting off pretty good. The only thing is the price, I think it's way overpriced for a hunting game in its condition.
yeah, no bait , stands, blinds, bows, campsites, or decoys. I expected it to already be in the game. a 20+ power scope too would be nice.

Oh definitely. The good thing is that you can choose the difficulty. On the easier settings they wont spook that easy.
