I love the 900 degree steering, sticking your arm out of the window, and adjusting the mirror animations. I hope they are in the final game

@@lprince96he does shift, just a bit buggy when you are driving with your hand out, since the game doesnt know which animation to prioritize. Might get fixed tho

personally once they fix the physics when you're in the air, add more customization like rims and add an option to spoiler delete and (which i don't think will be too hard) add blinkers and a way to turn car lights on and off in the future if they can

I really love the little details like the character adjusting the mirror or putting his arm out of the window.
Driving in first person in this game is actually doable cause the FOV is high and we have a 900° steering angle, unlike Forza Horizon 5.
I'm so excited to drive around in the city and the curvy roads without the HUD and just enjoying the view. So far my only complaint about the game is the lack of traffic, even on the city.
And one thing that I would love to have in this to make it more immersive is blinkers. Cruising in the city would be so much nicer

City Design is going to depend on where the Game is Set however, as it still needs to Reasonably Replicate the Layout of the Part of the City modelled, sure, Edinburgh In FH4 was only really the City Centre... it was not the full City, but what there was was GPS Accurate! so it needs to be the same for FH6's City.

-graphics are oversaturated, unpolished, overall a cheap look
-textures are bad (worse than nearly every other racing game since the last year)
-the world is empty again. ( i dont mean races/activities (are there even new innovative activities?)) I mean details in the World! (Many props, small things that make a game looking good, not so unfinished. The game "jdm japanese drift master" looks waaaay better. And thats a small indi game.
All the roads are 20m wide. Looks weird af and is waaay behind 2023. Traffic and pedestrians are nearly at 0. No this has nothing to do with the performance because the game looks like crap and 'optimizing' is a real thing.
-physics are weird again.. my car shouldnt fly trough the air, when i hit a tree. Thats only one example.
Most of the props are weightless, sand/dirt looks/feels crappy in comparison to forza
Thats the facts.. ubisoft could take time.. maybe 4-8 years and could bring out a banger game.. but people doesnt want it. People are already happy with a non innovative, rushed racing game and thats good for them. Less costs, less effort, maximum profit.. ubisoft is EA'ing you.

I love all of the minor improvements they made over the crew 2, the loading times, the quality of life improvements on the UI, the vibe and the colors, the animations and the car list.
Sure it lacks on some things, as any game ever made, but as it is, it's great

The sound design is a MAJOR step up from TC2 they did an amazing job!
The cars sound insane, the sound engineer really did a great job, it feels organic and realistic. I'm still waiting for a more simcade focused open world racing game like TDU SC tho, too many arcade racing games out there.

I’m jus glad they actually cared about graphics this time. The Crew 2 easily coulda looked like this, but I guess they wanted these graphics for their next game and they look super good. All the features, especially the interior animations are perfect. And the car sounds are insane. Car meets and highway runs, or even jus solo cruising are all finna go hard 🔥🔥
The Crew 2 wouldn't be able to look like this, The USA map is so big, It's even have to sacrifices alot of small city and landmarks(Chicago Airport, Military base, Ambassador Bridge) in order to enhanced the graphics (yes, i admit the graphics are much better compare to the OG 1st one).
Thank god Ivory Tower decided to put Hawaii (smaller map) to Motorfest, so they can go crazy with these little details like you mentioned above.

Lowering Traffic Levels and Removing Pedestrians is rather Required to get 60FPS out of those old, Underpowered, Outdated, 8th Gen Lumps (and the *Woeful* Series S, which is said to be a Bottlenecked Nightmare to Develop for with Several Development Studios even calling for it to be Scrapped as it is holding their Games back!!) and meet Ubisofts Performance targets.

@@bronxmafi2212 Making the map Smaller was to both Increase the Event Density (making the Game feel less Sparse on Content) , Increase the Progression Rate, and to help the 8th Generation Consoles (and Series S) to Cope.
Yes, the lower traffic and lack of Pedestrians does make the Game feel less alive, but, it is the only way to get 60FPS out of the 8th Generations Systems and Series S.
Sure, some players would Probably prefer 30FPS, but with more Traffic and Pedestrians, like TC2, but, Ubisoft made 60FPS a Priority, and, well, what the Publisher says goes I am afraid.
This and the new Test Drive Unlimited that is coming out I’m so hyped for! Also waiting what the new Forza Horizon will be like. But those 3 will have to battle it out I guess!

my biggest issue only so far with the game is that the life in the world seems rather abandoned, not much cars driving around or civs walking about either!
also i wish they would take that showroom free roam feature and expand on it to be similar to Test Drive Unlimited 2 where you have to walk into car stores to roam around and browse the collection on foot and also buy your car on foot or even take it for a spin

After playing the beta I can say that Im genuinely hype for this game. probably the biggest reason I have to finally buy a PS5 and transfer my TC2 cars cause once TCM is out Im completely done with the garbage that was TC2.
Honestly, yeah so true. TCM went from garbage-tier to "i gotta play this on release" like no other racing game has recently, the improvement from TC2 is insane, despite lacking the US map (which was pretty overrated IMO, size of TDU 1 is more than enough)
@@crispybottom Yeah LOVE the new Hawaii map. So many TDU2 memories, the environments are amazing, city looks great and its graphically more dense and detailed than tc2. The handling was the biggest issue I had with tc2 and yet in TCM I wasnt doing races at time because I was enjoying driving so much.
Is there in depth car customization? I havent really seen too much in depth when it comes to customization.
@@flowsy5294it's quite nice honestly. there's a lot of options that you can chosse from for the more customizable cars. things like supercars are not gonna be that customizable though, which honestly I don't mind.

Wow. I would say what everybody else is talking about, but what I appreciate the most is the fact that these cars don't spit flames excessively, presumably that these cars are stock. Game titles like Forza and Need For Speed always go overboard with it, even with unmodified cars. Personally, it gets a bit annoying. Amazing stuff by the developers. Sometimes, less is more! 😎👌

Would love to see an actual touge 1v1 mode or crew battle be added. Kind of like a health bar that depletes as your rival escapes farther and farther into the horizon.

I feel that most open world racing games would benefit from having narrower roads, especially when they have little to no traffic on them.
It would greatly improve the speed sensation, make low power cars more enjoyable since you would feel speed more instead of having mountain roads the size of 2 x 2 highways, and hypercars more challenging to drive since you couldnt do 400kph on every strech of road available.
It is possible.. the crew looks like crap with its 0 traffic and the 20 meter wide roads😂

a few blocks from a city is more lively then the entire FH5 map is.
roads are close to being a 1:1 they do feel a little wider then normal.. which makes it easier to drive on but yea.. minor things.
the interior textures could be a little less cartoony, some cars look professional though so.. again its minor things.

What this game really needs are some proper rims. They brought back the wheels from tc2 and 90% of them look super bad. They should do it like nfs and get some cooperation with real life manufacturers. Good wheels can make all the difference for the look of a car, but in tc2 the best option was usually sticking with the standard wheels. Wheel customisation would be cool too.

The Crew has to start making nights actually dark. It just hasn't looked right and still doesnt.
Personally i really think they have to make a function to get out the car... we already have this option inside the houses, events and stuffs like this only for immersion purposes, like the mirror, hand in door etc. Another function who NOBODY made until now would be a button like a option who make aceleration slower (you can do this because have a steering wheel, but who play in keyboard cant), we see this tipe of mechanics in Third Person Games, where you press a button to make your char stop running and start walk slowly.
My message for all the Devs around there, pay attention in details! Thats what we need, we want to play smoothly, immersive with our hearts and souls.
And there are exactly where you guys are failing (in general way) your games are EMPTY, im not talking about buildings, NPCs, Side Quests. Im talking about your inability to make your game fill our heart in such a way that we would be forced to savor every square pixel of your games.
