I feel like crew has grown up, like it is finally what it is supposed to be, like they found their place in the racing game community. I really really like motorfest.
^THISSSSS. It started off as an "MMO racing experiment" that people mostly flocked too since NFS World Closed. Then they added planes and boats in Crew 2 Now Crew Motorfest is everything from before, but just optimized to a teeeeeee. The boats and planes feel so much better now, even in Crew 2, halfway thru they stopped becoming gimmicks. I'm excited to see where this game goes.
I’m pretty old times when it comes to racing games so I have to say #1 really was a Masterpiece, Open world and also Comparable customization to NFS at the time. Shit was God-Like!!! 💚
It's good but I absolutely hate how you're forced to use certain vehicles in races...You can't have your own car that you like, progress and modify and use all the time, your special car...Now it's just, "use this car that we give you and every else in the race uses the same car too :) "
@@yesdude3914100%. Made me stop playing the game once I realized I had to basically beat the game in order to use my car in all the races. I also think wish it took place somewhere with a bigger city
I think Ubisoft handled this game's promotion poorly. I wasn't aware of this game was a thing, and thought The Crew was dead. A Twitch streamer playing it days before its release and I was still like "Is this like an open beta or something?". And the funny thing is this is one of the most enjoyable things Ubisoft has done in years.
I think it was more of your own fault because it got sponsored with Red Bull Gaming Channel and even Lamborghini posted things about this game, and Ubi was always posting ads & vids about it on youtube, instagram, twitter & Tik Tok
@@mirage_goodmen2259 thats you for not following their accounts, if you did, then you would have seen those, i get notificaciones about them on instagram & twitter almost Daily
The Crew 2 had FOUR YEARS of Free DLC lololol. I'm hoping Crew Motorfest does more than a year...I wouldn't mind a return of the Motorpass if it means not charging ppl for major updates.
RIGHT?? I only ever bought the first one. It was so easy to complete in like 5 days of casual play and used my earned CC to just buy the next pass! @@xnotasweatx
Almost everything in The Crew: Motorfest is a huge improvement from the last game! The handling, the progression system, the menu ui, the graphics, the color grading, and especially the sound design (even electric cars sound cool)! There's even little touches that you wouldn't notice until you took the time to notice, like your character leaning their arm on the window while cruising! Of course, I still have little gripes though, like the GTR still doesn't have any wheel customization, the tires on the cars still don't really look quite right, and I couldn't transfer over my hot character from The Crew 2. But, these are all things that can be overlooked due to the rest of the game being absolutely PREEM! This game is at least a 9/10!
BRO YES, THE SOUND DESIGN IS EARGASMIC! I'm shocked all the EV's actually sound different (Per company) but so many games just use "the same generic high pitch" for all EVs.
The main downgrade from TC2 to TCM was seriously the hot females that are just plain cardboard now. God, its a game in fkin hawaii, give us bikinis and big booba tanned mommys
The Crew is my favorite franchise - not just because of Motorfest, but because the developers really did listen to criticism and improved with every release. You don't see that every day.
Played Crew 1, 2 and the 5 hours of 3 and i will buy it soon, i loved the crew 1 and the crew 3 is the ULTIMATE best of both worlds imo, Bikes sucked in Crew 1 (Payed DLC 😕) Cars sucked in Crew 2... Bikes were free to Play and i liked the Handling... And Crew 3 has amazing Handling for both Cars and Bikes, means i dont have to skip playing Cars yet again
Ivory tower is probably Ubisofts one and only developer that I feel like really are the best they got. NONE of their games have the staying power that the Crew series has managed. Just keeps getting better and the fans keep loving it, meanwhile every single one of their other franchises have hit rock bottom except for The division, those games are legit aswell. I don’t remember that developers name off the top though. If it wasn’t for the crew I don’t know what Ubisoft would be doing cuz AC is looking boring and dead af on arrival.
True. But other then that. It’s such a great game. I’ve been waiting for an actual fun arcade racer for a very very VERY long time. And Ubisoft finally did it
This game feels like an FH3. With the visuals and design choices. It also feels very nice on a wheel. The body roll feels good too. I went from having no clue the game existed to planning a triple monitor setup and preordering the ultimate edition within 2 days. Very well done Ivory Tower
@@PinnuskaTV Yes. I actually am into some slightly higher saturation especially for sunrise/sunset cruising. Which is what FH3 was. Cartoony and highly saturated
After playing the Forza Horizon series for a few years, Motorfest really feels like it's bringing back the "fun" in this type of racing game. I just hope that the game will get constant updates and not just only for the Summit.
Well the entire island of Maui will be added for free. The Crew 2 and Motorfest will also get end of life offline mode. The biggest game changer for me. I got Motorfest with Crew 2 bundled in for 15 bucks. Best 15 bucks I've spent
I wanna start in a freaking VW Corrado again! The OG Forza horizon is the only racing game I have restarted multiple times. And now I wanna do it again
I had so much fun during the 5 hours trial, and I agree that the gameplay is much more entertaining and you can see that much more effort were put to each event than FH5, especially with Donut media event.
not sure what the difference is I've seen gameplay of Motorfest and it just looks like a rip off of Forza with worse physics and the gameplay isn't that great lol
I did play Crew Motorfest during the free trial period. It was really fun not gonna lie, and I found it better than Forza in pretty much every aspect (although the drift handling is something that's hard to get used to). I cannot afford the game for its full price, but I'll definitely buy it when it's on sale
I feel you on the drifting my friends and me felt it was actually worse than Crew 2. To be fair...maybe we were used to our maxed out cars with Drift Spec Parts. So I'll get used to it again by this months end, then probs feel better about it. Every other physics though! Super good! Planes are smoother than ever, Boats aren't as OP Fast (where some escape routes in rivers were just meta with boats instead lmao) and Motorcycles finally have better top speeds...instead of that awkward 186-204MPH limiter most of them had in Crew 2. My Draxter isn't maxed, but can go 211 already. Can't wait to max it!
People constanly nag about how far Forza & Need For Speed has fallen from grace meanwhile The Crew players have been silently enjoying their robust free content updates for like 5 years now. Glad to see The Crew finally get the recognition it deserves
I love the crew 2 mostly because it reminds me of so many good times i had on other games... like the old need for speed games. I still dream of a new game like most wanted (not the shit one, the OG)...
I played The Crew 1 and loved its gritty story, extensive customization (e.g. turning a Camaro into an off-road car) and huge/diverse map. I never got around to playing The Crew 2 but its longevity was impressive, and this one looks very promising.
BRO ME TOO. The sound, the sights, it does remind me of FH2 and FH3 just for the environment alone, but obviously it takes me back to 2019 Crew 2 from 4 years ago when I played with friends, now playing with those same friends...funny how we laughed that Forza H4 would kill Crew 2 forever, yet even when FH5 released, we still played Crew 2 a few months after (Since FH5 had no post launch content and we got bored asf). Can't wait for Test Drive Unlimited to release!!! I think Forza Devs need to get off their ass, competition this year was STEEP. This whole year was a BIG W in gaming. Bauldur's Gate, Diablo IV, Starfield, PIZZA TOWER BAYBEEE so many choices!! Super competitive!
0:28 - 0:45 as someone who will always look at the flaws of a car before i buy them. That segment hit me deep. Just a perfect explanation for something so relatable.
Yep, The Crew: Motorfest and the soon to come Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown are going to give the studio behind Forza a run for their money, now, they have kinda got too comfortable during FH4 and now 5 (With a few update being actually extremely high quality and with great content), hope they start making interesting additions and such from now on.
Yeah, I think FH4+5 fell off from just trying to repeat the same formula. Test Drive FOR SURE will also shake the market too! This added competition will give players fantastic choices to shop from while also...hopefully waking up Playground Games and making them realize they don't have a monopoly on this market anymore. Adapt or die as they say!💀
@@BladedAngel yeah, hope the next game (if they are actually making one rn) adds some better history telling instead of the "Horizon Superstar" stuff, and maybe more automotive stories too, and diversity on car too, people really received well cars like the F150 Lightning and the Dodge Magnum on the car pass.
@@BladedAngelFH5's updates have been getting way better after they recently switched out the game directors. And I think FH6 will be possibly on par with FH3 if the recent updates are anything to go by.
@@noobonthetube going to say this. It’s too coincidental to claim the switching out directors did anything to improve the updates we been getting in recent months. They plan these updates ahead of time and it’s not always a ok we have one month to plan next update after releasing the current one. That’s not efficient. So tired of people making that little mistake when it comes to planning updates. Give it time till new director does something on there own instead of following and committing to last director’s road map.
Idk why exactly, but Forza for some reason has got 10/10 reviews of FH5 and people still praising it, even when it's dead since launch, and at launch was barely playable on PC. So Idk, I don't get why TCM got like 7/10 reviews while for me it's a much better game. Even TC2 feels more alive and more entertaining than FH5.
@@MrJonas7 IGN reviews games based on its graphics, legacy and hype train pre-release. They don't give a DAMN about anything else, even if the game is fun. That's why Driveclub died.
I got Motorfest recently. I only want a few things: a fucking place to live a working clutch for console keybind remapping like fh5 on console audible superchargers and turbochargers ability to change car aspiration
9:38 That shit was so out of pocket ☠☠☠☠☠☠ So weird seeing planes from a War Thunder Lobby, flying in a racing game. I'm going to go buy the game because of it!!
People need to stop asking for police thats why nfs dont have alot good cars alot car brand cars dont wanna see thier cars be chased by cops or to be in illegal street race thats why crew copied forza with festival
Typing this before I watch the video: The Crew Motorfest to me fills the gap that the previous even just open world maps of 4 and 5 left me wishing for more. At first I was really excited to drive in Mexico and even for a little over a year of playing I was defending the map saying it wasn't that bad, which I still stand by. Then I bought The Crew 2, and well... Eventually this new game was announced and I see the correlations between Forza Horizon and all, but for me The Crew Motorfest is soooooooooo much more than what Horizon is to me in today's state of the game, the map is exciting to drive through on your own despite being relatively small, the graphics look really good but don't completely tank the Xbox One and the actual gameplay aka the playlists feels like what a new game in such a franchise should try to offer. The races are mostly "just races" or drive from point a to b, but the actual storytelling (at least for me) feels a lot more connected with the gameplay and the way they pick out cars and stuff for you to use in them was absolutely great and it actually makes getting a super fast Lamborghini as much as I'm not really a fan of those, rewarding. I will also say that I'm super biased towards this game simply allowing me to buy the Plymouth Roadrunner 1970 because it is my favorite and dream car, but oh well.
I'm also biased cuz Crew has Motorcycles and WW2 planes. Legit, will NEVER see that in Forza or NFS lmaoooooo. I'm so sick of boring car only open world games. Bout time someone realized how "Creative" racing can actually get.
I like the fact that when you finish a playlist they give you some extra challenges to do and you can replay the playlist races in custom mode, which you can change the time of day/weather and use your own vehicles. That was my one big gripe with TC2 was the races felt the same after awhile since you couldn't change the time/weather and you could "cheese" them easily by just using your maxed out car right from the start.
@@BladedAngel If it's anyone I would expect to be biased because of bikes it would certainly be you haha. Your videos on motorcycles haven't quite sent me the full way to those bikes but I've actually started taking a strong liking to what we here call "30kmh Mopeds" that for some reason in Sweden you don't need a license to drive, probably because of that very slow speed, but there's a certain charm to them especially those old one's from the 50's that really drags me in.
@@fatjesus6912 Yeah the 911 challenges literally just gave me multiple 100Ks for what I felt was just casual driving to me... But it was nice being rewarded by just playing the game for once.
i played the original crew a year ago at my older cousins house and it was a blast! The games map was giant and the custimisation of cars was cool. My only grip was with the tuning, you had to buy an entirely new car for a drift, street, dirt, perf etc build
You said that the in game car dealer is an improvement. I disagree. I missed it when you can drive to dealerships alone or with your crew to test drive or to buy cars. I loved that from The Crew 1.
Im just hoping they give us DLCs with different regions as part of Motorfest's lifecycle. In the "Made in Japan" playlist, the Japanese street racing crew that runs the playlist mentions the player coming to Japan in the future multiple times. They also mention in the final race that they are not done teaching you about Japanese racing heritage. It makes me think (and hope) that Ivory Tower is planning to release map DLCs that take us to different parts of the world.
This game slapped me in the face, I wasnt expecting this game to be this good and the multiplayer to be this chaotic A surprising game in pretty much every aspect
I wanted to Point this out about Summits. If you look at the actual events for the Summit there is a bar that gives you the extra 100,000 points when you have completed all the events BUT what I want to point out is there are other rewards there too. This current summit actual rewards a Ford Focus for just completing all thr summit events
Only thing about Garage transfer Is that you can't carry over from xbox, used to play it a bunch and swapped platform. The game Is Stilo a blast though!
Finally, someone reviewed this game who didnt just say forza better. Forza is a good game but TCM just does some things forza does better, its not a Forza ripoff, its a competitor, which people somehow cant understand
I played some of the free trial with my g920 and it was so much fun and so easy. Really pretty game and loads of fun. Didn’t care much for crew 2, got it on sale for 9 bucks and after a few hours it felt like I overpaid. But this game is awesome.
Reminds me of distance where your 1 car can fly, ride on walls, ''ride on water'', drive on tracks, have insane tracks, etc. Would love if you actually reviewed distance too. Especially the game's hidden level, ''the other side''. This is the most innovative racing game I've ever played. Some of its custom player tracks are utterly insane and can play out like movies, can have literal bossfights in a racing game, can have tracks found and not possible in any other racing game, etc. And most of all, distance is actually a skill based game, like trackmania is. Or mirror's edge. Its like doing car parkouring. And oh man the ''shortcuts'' are REALLY well done. You've got stuff like going backwards on a track which teleports to to another track entirely which then teleports you to a later section of the actual track, you've got shortcuts where its extremely hard to come out unscathed (your car can be cut in half and still work), due to flight you can outright skip portions of tracks or catch portals in very hidden locations, etc.
Indeed. Crew Motorfest really nailed the formula AND with Test Drive Unlimited Coming up, Forza Horizon really needs to stop just being a "Give 10 supercars after 30 minutes, then turn into a collectathon game with no content depth, post launch content, or meaningful player interactions"
@@BladedAngelTHIS! Absolute this! After a 10 year hiatus to racing games, (except reinstalling comfort foods here and there) NFS Unbound brought me back to racing phase big time. Picked up Horizon 4 afterwards (hoping the older would be less vapid than 5, plus McLaren & sheep is a vibe) but after 1 hour I was: "This? This series is people's choice of open world racer top dog? Excuse me, is this even a AAA racing game, or a free to play mobile gacha? At least the wheelspins are only breaking progression not people's wallet." If I recall I never rage quited before... but seeing how low the price tag of the McLaren F1 was compared to the speed of the economy I just Alt+F4-d outta there. Yes inquisitor, this game, HERESY right here, this insulted a pivotal piece of automotive history. Now you really have me on the fence with Motorfest. I fell in love with Horizon 3's reveal trailer, especially that Impreza vs Evo scene... but as a PC only latecomer unvilling to hunt old consoles, the actually good Forzas are unteachable for me. You sold me on Motorfest being the best modern thing for that experience. Only one problem: Ubisoft... not giving them any money for a while now. Feels very unfair with Ivory Tower, but here we are. Still if you would've told me that out of gaming's 3 great devils: Blizzard-EA-Ubisoft, EA will be the last one standing I'm willing to tango from time to time, I would have laughed, but here I am at the crossroads. A very promising game and a shitty publisher I'm tired of.
with the garage transfer- if you don't choose to do it immediately you can open your options menu and there's an option to transfer it, so you can do it later if you choose to, it's not just a choice to start fresh or not
I've always been fascinated with this series but my only real deterrent from wanting to play them is the always online requirement. It wouldn't bug me if I was playing an online multiplayer game, but if I'm playing single player, the thought of my Internet going out and the game not working gives me an aneurysm. As situational as that sounds, it's happened multiple times before and it will happen again. It's a shame because that's my major gripe with these games and any other "live service" games in general despite the fact it actually looks fun to play.
I prefer The Crew Motorfest's graphics over Forza Horizon 5's. It may not be realistic, but it's so beautiful and fantastic. More game studios should start focusing on satisfying visuals than realism.
Yo you made it too personal bro 😭 . The way you took a step to support both tc2 and motorfest was LEGIT INSPIRING wtf . Didnt expect this at all . Best of all you are completely right . Motorfest is so fun and TC2 so underrated . All the forza fanbois flooding in the comments prove they have better things to do than play their actual game , we dont care we just play what we enjoy .
THAT'S WHAT IM SAYING LOLOL. The modern "Gaming Community" just bitches and whines. I learned the more I hear about a game, the worse it probably was. Us 4 million players who stuck with Crew 2 for 4 years? We kept zipped lips lmao. We were too busy playing instead of crying about lack of post-launch content. Also I can't divebomb a plane onto ppl in open lobbies in Forza. Seriously, planes, boats, and Motorcycles especially, ABSOLUTELY ROCK!!!
the thing I'm worried about is with the crew 2, the map was so big so when they needed to add more content, they could just pick another empty area and build something cool. There is nowhere near enough space in Motorfest for them to do that, so it will be interesting to see how they cope with the lack of space
14:56 "I have faith in Ivory Tower, I think that they're not becoming what the greedy Microsoft is becoming." Boy that line aged like milk in 2024 after shutting down The Crew 1 and removing it from people's libraries.
I have 127 hours in The Crew, vast majority of it spent just driving around in muscle cars; getting close to 400 hours in Forza Horizon 4 and so far it was probably the best racing game I played in a decade, but I never cared to jump on FH5 or The Crew 2 and now seeing the physics of Motorfest I'm not really convinced to do otherwise
Big fan of the Crew games and am so pleased to see how well this iteration has come across. I enjoy the Forza Horizons games but this really ticks my boxes. The grand races are absolute carnage but a lot of harmless, non-toxic fun :) As you say - there's so many drivers trying to navigate the course at speed - it's very difficult to get upset. Love it! Thank you for the excellent summary of this game. Top drawer.
Forza Horizon is a arcade racing game. Crew Motorfest is a SUPER arcade racing game. There is ppl who like arcade controls and stuff and thats fine. I will keep up with forza tho.
I literally thought the Intro was FH3 as their races look identical (Especially with that same wide body Liberty Walk style GTR) and that cam angle was popularized by Forza. And this style of street track festival racing was popularized by NFS Prostreet.
I played Crew 1 it was fun but flawed. Didn't play Crew 2 but Was hooked right from the First Trailer and boy I have not been disapointed It is so much fun. I look forward to all the upcoming events and DLC'S. BTW if you have raced against Galahad2891 and I maybe rammed you , it was an accident I swear.
I liked The Crew 2 and played alot of it. But I just couldn't get over the physics. But since they've improved them for Motorfest I might just snag a copy.
Yea it might not have the same amount of vehicles as Forza or look photorealistic however it’s actually fun. The map isn’t a snooze fest and the handling is what you expect out of an arcade experience… Where Forza continues to downgrade since 3 The Crew seems to be a proper sequel with upgrades every new release
@@kevone08 nah... i played only the crew 2 and didn t like it... if there will be some "free weekend" or demo i might try it but i won t buy something that i might not enjoy because of personal prefferences
I am a NFS Fan, because I grew up playing NFS MW 2012. Then my parents sold my Wii U, and got me an Xbox one with Fh3, so I fell in love with Forza. I started enjoying them less and less as they started to decline. I still liked them though. Then I heard of Motorfest, and I decided to buy it. *BEST CHOICE I EVER MADE* I fricking love it because it doesn’t seem tiny. It listens to the community, and it’s just a great game. I really hope they keep adding more of the Hawaiian islands. And if they can add even more customization, similar to need for speed, it be literally perfect.
The crew motorfest is really good to be honest. I think they need to add more cars like the older model civics, Volvos, trackhawk, ae86, more Bmw’s like m6 and e92, lancer evos, other stuff like that in mind. I give it a 8.5/10.
One thing i loved, especially from the Crew One was the customization, and audio. For whatever reason the Crew series sounds really good compared to other games. Although it seems like it removed some of the features i kind of enjoyed, they improved many others.
@@TeRRm0s The handling on TC2 wasn't good because it wasn't very precise. So the car wouldn't turn unless you turned the analog all the way. With Motorfest the wheel turns exactly how you turn the analog and the gas pedal moves exactly as you press R2. It's not perfect but it's a much needed improvement
*Ivory Tower's biggest W since Crew 2 I still have guarded "faith" around Ubisoft. I think because Ivory Tower releases games so slowly, Ubisoft doesn't milk them like a cow. I pray they NEVER become what Ass-Ass Creed has become for them...
I have so much nostalgia for the original “The Crew”. I specifically remember the hilarious glitches with the multiplayer. And when airplanes would randomly start spinning at Mach 4
I skipped entirely on The Crew 2 after a few minutes of playing the demo because I didn't enjoy it, and I played the 5-hour trial for Motorfest. It's a pretty big leap in comparison to The Crew 1 in terms of visuals, car sounds, vehicles, and gameplay so it's nice to see Ivory Tower upping their game in those aspects. Especially if you're someone like me who's been playing only The Crew 1 for the past 9 years, as that game is going to turn 10 years old in 2024. The one issue I have with this game is that the gravity physics haven't changed that much when going airborne. Then again, this racing game was quite refreshing and a treat to play for 5 hours because one thing Motorfest does right is simply being *fun.* I'll be sure to pick it up on sale.
I just hope they add the option for exclusive fullscreen and a higher fps cap available. I'm a PC gamer with a extremely high end pc and being capped at 1080p60 when I have an RTX 4090 is like having a 1,000hp engine in a go cart, tons of power but doesn't get utilized properly.
Really? I was regretting buying this on Series X cause of frame rate issues, when I have an i9 13900K and 4090 (I like couch gaming sometimes) You saying I wouldn't get 4K 144fps??? That's really bad if it's capped at 1080 60
@@glenmcl resolution is capped to what your native resolution is on your monitor, the only video options are windowed and borderless windowed. The FPS settings are 30/60
Dayum bro, that speech in the end gave me chills. Im trying to convince my friends to buy the game but they say its not worth the 70 bucks, i absolutely think it does
I actually loved all the crew games so far. ofc 1 being my favorite…I actually liked playing as Gordon Freeman and the darker story. Crew 2 was just pure arcady fun. I loved just driving for hour straight, like a mini road trip. The new one is even more fun. I loved the big maps, but Motorfest sacrifices size for graphics and honestly…it’s beautiful game. You can tell they really cared for this game and I think this is finally put it up there and rival with NFS and Horizon. Also a point add it’s weird how almost 9 years the crew 1 is still active, and the crew 2 even more. I just feel like they’re games people play, but don’t talk about I also like how I was able to import half my vehicles from the crew 2. I can keep using my beautiful nebula Mitsubishi FTO
The crew franchise is truly underrated. The crew 1 had a rough launch but continued with multiple updates that expanded the game and fixed every issue that players had. The crew 2 was dead on arrival due to the bad reputation of crew name and the ubisoft name as a whole even though its probably the most ambitious racing game ever made. It also has continued support that most modren games struggle to imitate. The crew motorfest is culmination of all the lessons the devs had learned up to this point, this is truly the full potential of the crew franchise and i really hope it works out for them this time. They deserve a W.
Need for Speed 2015, probably has better graphics and gameplay than all of the ones that came after. It’s a slept on game, with in depth modifications. You don’t just have to move a slider bar to change exhaust sound like in Heat, you actually buy new exhausts, which change the sound.
In my opinion, I liked how easy it was to get cars on Forza. Cause the main reason I loved Forza was to drive cars a lot and wasn’t hard to get new ones. So far I do not like how hard it is to get enough money for cars on The Crew Motorfest.
Fh 5 is boring bad map and in a hour you have a bugatti thats not fun anymore thats why horizon 2 was best I love to grind for super cool cars the crew motorfest does that so right you need to work for a bugatti thats makes it fun
i've been playing the crew 2 since launch and i aged with that game, like literally the only modern racing games i go back to is the crew2 (the rest are the crew1 - NFS MW & HP - FH 2 & 3 ), the idea that they have weekly competitive events which are actually rewarding was more than enough to keep me going for the game, now that they are back with motorfest and their hawaii map i am baffled that i'm actually enjoying yet another modern racing game, never regretted keeping up with the crew franchise cause i was never looking for realism, i just wanted to enjoy some arcadish racing games btw the moment i heard honkai impact battle ost your opinion turned to facts to me
Been playing the game since The Crew 1, i love the racing in this game. The crew 2 was somewhat lackluster, especially graphically to the crew 1 but man was it so fun. I can’t wait to get this Crew Motorfest game.
A1 review my guy. The game is dope af! But there’s one thing you didn’t mention that’s a negative….they lied about crossplay initially, or better yet they weren’t completely forthcoming about the fact that you can’t crew with your buddies on other platforms, you can play in lobbies with other players across all the platforms yet you can’t just crew up and drive around in the world. Unless me and my buddies are missing something they gotta fix this soon.
I’m loving The Crew Motorfest so far. Lots of fun, loads to do, and looks gorgeous. And you know that Ubisoft will support this game for ages. I loved Forza Horizon 1-3, especially 3, but not so much 4 & 5 (though graphically they were amazing) .
Bladed, you officially convinced me. *Once my Credit Card has a bigger credit line, ill buy this game. I loved The Crew 1, and since TC2 was really good, this will be better.*
I got a whole bunch of YT ads for this game. They never particularly interested me because I could just play Forza instead. Then I saw your video and saw that this game has motorcycles. It's now on my wishlist and I would've bought it if I didn't just blow my money on a real motorcycle.
I played the Beta and TBH Im enjoying more than FH5 since Im a keyboard user on PC. But the only downside is yo cannot use your own car for playlist, all are loaned (and some require you to purchase the specific car). They improving a lot from The Crew into The Crew 2, and The Crew Motorfest feel much better.
The Crew 1 was my favorite game, I played The Crew 2 beta and I liked it and then got the full game, after a while I got bored of 2 so I went back to 1 and I still play it to this day, as soon as I saw Motorfest I immediately bought it and I absolutely love it, it might actually be my new favorite game beating The Crew 1
yo bro, offline mode for motorfest & crew 2. Year 2 pass is amazing. I buy it ultimate edition of motorfest in -70% price & it's amazing. Game have so lovely graphic! They will fix mirrors :) There will be even police chaces in it :D New island, amazing!!!
After playing the trial back in September, I went from thinking about getting this game to absolutely needing this game. A couple months later, I bagged this game during the black friday sales. If you ask me, it deserves racing game of the year. Side note: I know I bought it on sale, but like Elden Ring, I feel like I should've paid full price if not a little extra just because of how fun this game is.

Now Crew Motorfest is everything from before, but just optimized to a teeeeeee.

Speaking of TDU, I'm excited for the newest one too!
Their talent really shows, be it Crew Devs or TDU devs!
You’re an NPC
ubisoft didn't fart out a shallow open world game for once
Where garages though?
@@BladedAngelThat was a well placed pun intended lol

In Crew 2 Cars felt like Paper Planes vs Crew 3 Cars feel like they are actually Cars bc they have Weight to them
Thats honesty the one good thing Ubisoft is good with thats why they did good with motorfest and their other games like siege is getting more popular
Honestly, the crew is amazing. Motorfest still needs to be optimized a bit more.
True. But other then that. It’s such a great game. I’ve been waiting for an actual fun arcade racer for a very very VERY long time. And Ubisoft finally did it

After playing the Forza Horizon series for a few years, Motorfest really feels like it's bringing back the "fun" in this type of racing game.
I just hope that the game will get constant updates and not just only for the Summit.
Yeah these games tend to get updated for at least 2-3 years, it takes them a minute to make them and they’re not yearly which I really like
Well the entire island of Maui will be added for free.
@@theunhingedgamer3762 yes it is rip off of forza but done a lot better than original

Try with the koenigsegg agera r drift version, then you tell me, its insane!🔥
On sale this week!
The Crew Motorfest makes me nostalgic for some reason

It's great to see a game that's made to be fun and not just a second job.
Typing this before I watch the video:
The Crew Motorfest to me fills the gap that the previous even just open world maps of 4 and 5 left me wishing for more.
I'm blown away.. the crew 2 was okayish at best and this game is actually amazing, I can't believe they actually did it
You said that the in game car dealer is an improvement.

Crew Motorfest just feels like a Need For Speed DLC for me and I love it ! I play this game just like Need For Speed .
Driving, engine sounds, open world and lighting are great. I really like the game. What i don't like is the challenges and car parts (upgrade system)
"at the end of the day people play video games to escape reality not be reminded of it" true words 💯💯💯
Guess what this means, Forza finally has some damn competition, and maybe Forza will not be shit.
Picked up Horizon 4 afterwards (hoping the older would be less vapid than 5, plus McLaren & sheep is a vibe) but after 1 hour I was:
"This?
A very promising game and a shitty publisher I'm tired of.
with the garage transfer- if you don't choose to do it immediately you can open your options menu and there's an option to transfer it, so you can do it later if you choose to, it's not just a choice to start fresh or not
I'm in love with this Game!!
This game is amazing. One of the best racing games ive played in the last 10 years.
Interesting how Ubisoft will pay to relicense cars in The Crew but not in Driver: SF...
I prefer The Crew Motorfest's graphics over Forza Horizon 5's. It may not be realistic, but it's so beautiful and fantastic. More game studios should start focusing on satisfying visuals than realism.

Yea it might not have the same amount of vehicles as Forza or look photorealistic however it’s actually fun. I fricking love it because it doesn’t seem tiny.
Crew 2 was great like 7.5 or 8/10. My biggest problem was the handling. But Motorfest solved that problem. This game is 9.5/10 imo
How did they improve it? What was the problem with Crew 2 handling? I haven't played either of these games
@@TeRRm0s The handling on TC2 wasn't good because it wasn't very precise. So the car wouldn't turn unless you turned the analog all the way. I have so much nostalgia for the original “The Crew”. I specifically remember the hilarious glitches with the multiplayer. And when airplanes would randomly start spinning at Mach 4
This game tries too hard to be Forza Horizon when it could’ve been it’s own thing, it’s a shame really.
I would absolutely love to play this game.
*Cries in intel UHD Graphics 630*
A cheap forza basically
But better and more fun
Then again, this racing game was quite refreshing and a treat to play for 5 hours because one thing Motorfest does right is simply being *fun.* I'll be sure to pick it up on sale.
roses are red violets are blue I liked my own comment because no one wants to!😂
I just hope they add the option for exclusive fullscreen and a higher fps cap available. I'm a PC gamer with a extremely high end pc and being capped at 1080p60 when I have an RTX 4090 is like having a 1,000hp engine in a go cart, tons of power but doesn't get utilized properly.
Really? I was regretting buying this on Series X cause of frame rate issues, when I have an i9 13900K and 4090 (I like couch gaming sometimes)
You saying I wouldn't get 4K 144fps???
I just feel like they’re games people play, but don’t talk about
I also like how I was able to import half my vehicles from the crew 2.
3 key points that's a make or break: A custom livery/color editor, a 1965 Mini cooper and no egregious rubber banding.
I think the crew motorfest is way better than some of the newer forza games
Need for Speed 2015, probably has better graphics and gameplay than all of the ones that came after. It’s a slept on game, with in depth modifications. You don’t just have to move a slider bar to change exhaust sound like in Heat, you actually buy new exhausts, which change the sound.
In my opinion, I liked how easy it was to get cars on Forza. Cause the main reason I loved Forza was to drive cars a lot and wasn’t hard to get new ones. So far I do not like how hard it is to get enough money for cars on The Crew Motorfest.
Fh 5 is boring bad map and in a hour you have a bugatti thats not fun anymore thats why horizon 2 was best I love to grind for super cool cars the crew motorfest does that so right you need to work for a bugatti thats makes it fun
i've been playing the crew 2 since launch and i aged with that game, like literally the only modern racing games i go back to is the crew2 (the rest are the crew1 - NFS MW & HP - FH 2 & 3 ), the idea that they have weekly competitive events which are actually rewarding was more than enough to keep me going for the game, now that they are back with motorfest and their hawaii map i am baffled that i'm actually enjoying yet another modern racing game, never regretted keeping up with the crew franchise cause i was never looking for realism, i just wanted to enjoy some arcadish racing games
btw the moment i heard honkai impact battle ost your opinion turned to facts to me
i cannot stand how these modern racing games the characters NEVER shut up, they are constantly talking even in racing!
yeah and constant music blaring and lights and crazy shit happening. i just want to drive like you could in the tdu games
BRO, I FEEL INSPIRED! I wasn't sure about this game, but after this, TAKE MY MONEY! Thx btw.
This game just got even better because of the new big November update!!!
I know people don't like sponsors, but i always feel happy when people get sponsors. Content creators i like Getting that bag hell yeah.
yo bro, offline mode for motorfest & crew 2. Year 2 pass is amazing. I buy it ultimate edition of motorfest in -70% price & it's amazing. Game have so lovely graphic! They will fix mirrors :) There will be even police chaces in it :D New island, amazing!!!
Something tells me you like Tekken. Within the first minute, Your Sunset from Tag 2 and then the wonderful Silent Assassin from Tekken 2.
I really miss the old days bladedangel gameplay videos, never understood why he stopped making them
I fell in love with the crew series from the first game and have always brought my friends into it
After playing the trial back in September, I went from thinking about getting this game to absolutely needing this game. A couple months later, I bagged this game during the black friday sales. If you ask me, it deserves racing game of the year. Side note: I know I bought it on sale, but like Elden Ring, I feel like I should've paid full price if not a little extra just because of how fun this game is.
I was skeptical because of the 70 price tag, but man is it well worth it. I havent had this much fun in a racing game sense old school nfs
They also removed the motorpass that was in the crew 2
This video is eye opening. I never played a crew game, but i might just start.
Do it. Pretty sure TC2 is dirt cheap now. That means a good time for a good price😂
@@adenkyramud5005 I dont really like tc2 from the videos i saw tbh. But i might give it a try later, thanks!
