The 918 in this game is how they should've made the real car sound IRL. The point of video games is to sometimes be better than reality :) If anything the I8 needs an update before the 918, it sounds like a 4 cylinder when it should sound like a 3. And of course the same Audi or Bugatti engine will sound the same in 3 different Audi R8s or Bugattis, not that it sounds good. Too many cars got the pitch completely incorrect, with some even the relative pitch between different RPM points being off!

The majority of them sound really good, but most of them sound like they're rev limited not hitting the red line when clearly they are in-game. The SL65 AMG Black Series sound like they use the same sound sample from the interior to the exterior. The result is just wrong imo.
Bugattis sound like V8s, needs a sound update ASAP Also Lamborghini V12 and V10 sound RLY GOOD BUT ! The RPM is off, 8.5k rpm sounds like sound like 7.5k rpm on the Centenario, Countach LPI 800-4, Countach LP 400, and Huracan Performante Even WORSE on the Miura where 7k sounds like 4k RPM and Aventador SVJ where 8.5k rpm sounds like 6.5k
By good i also mean stupid realistic, literally the same sound as a real Huracan and Aventador which i heard irl too But with RPM sound scaling being off and sounding like ur not going at 8.5 k rpm
So basically they got the sounds perfect they’re just not getting revving right for certain cars for certain rpm ranges are not high enough in volume higher rpms but the sounds themselves are basically identical to real life that sounds like a easy fix whoever the sound engineer to this game is elite his ears he has a great ear for sounds
@@redhunnid5142yup exactly I'm actually on a LOSS OF WORDS at how the Lamborghini sounds are LITERALLY THE SAME as IRL Almost no game i've ever heard was ON POINT like that. The only automatic cars with realistic sounding shifts were the Cayenne, Alpine and the M4, the rest of the automatic sound like manuals, why can’t racing games do shifting properly when it’s clearly possible, and the pitch is all wrong for most cars
I’ve noticed that the automatic and manual shift animations are swapped. Like the ZL1-1LE manual uses the paddles and a car with paddles wil use the gear shift
Need to update few sounds. Change the gear change animation for some dsg cars. Shouldn't be reaching gear lever. And some cars just dont sound like they rev high enough. Overall good sounding cars tho imo
Why are people surprised the game is a mess and with login errors? The same happened in a beta build that wasn’t even finished, but by the looks of things it’s the same version on release, and people pre ordered it lmfao

The majority of them sound really good, but most of them sound like they're rev limited not hitting the red line when clearly they are in-game. The SL65 AMG Black Series sound like they use the same sound sample from the interior to the exterior. The result is just wrong imo.
Bugattis sound like V8s, needs a sound update ASAP
Also Lamborghini V12 and V10 sound RLY GOOD
BUT ! The RPM is off, 8.5k rpm sounds like sound like 7.5k rpm on the Centenario, Countach LPI 800-4, Countach LP 400, and Huracan Performante
Even WORSE on the Miura where 7k sounds like 4k RPM and Aventador SVJ where 8.5k rpm sounds like 6.5k
By good i also mean stupid realistic, literally the same sound as a real Huracan and Aventador which i heard irl too
But with RPM sound scaling being off and sounding like ur not going at 8.5 k rpm
I prefer a good and right engine sound (mostly all of them) than forza which its reused and sometime over pitched
@@redhunnid5142yup exactly
I'm actually on a LOSS OF WORDS at how the Lamborghini sounds are LITERALLY THE SAME as IRL
Almost no game i've ever heard was ON POINT like that.
Besides maybe Project Cars 3 which is rly hit or miss and with recordings that sound like they were recorded on a Nokia 3310, as well as Assetto Corsa sound mods (and actual sounds too, but they sounds like they are muffled by a constant wind from wents around the car when in 3rd person)
I agree for the Porsche 918, for real it sounds like a 458 Italia because they both have flatplane crankshaft high revving V8s
sounds like every car shifts at 4000 rpm and not their actual limiter.... kinda disapointing
3:45 lol i can't xddddddddd
This game may have many issues but sound design is not one of them (however some cars like the Lambos need higher pitch matching the rev as irl)
The crew 2 in hindsight looks like a worthy successor to TDU
Nah not even close to tdu 1
Bro the 918 sound 🤣🤣🤣🤣
cars like the pista and the F40 rev too low, idk why that happens but hopefully it changes. sounds are still crazy tho
Need to update few sounds. Change the gear change animation for some dsg cars. Shouldn't be reaching gear lever. And some cars just dont sound like they rev high enough. Overall good sounding cars tho imo
The Veyron the guy do gear animation and I was like: That shouldn't be happening...
i don't know about others but i find crew motorfest to be a better game for me
Thank you so much for this video!
You are welcome!
That GT500 straight up uses a C7 Z06 sound file, wtf lol
Been hearing a lot about this game and i’m somewhat eager to get it.
Classic 911 and D-type are my favorite.
Nice sense of speed, but man, that 10fps rear view mirrors. 😑
Look at that steering angles.. That totally arcade.
TTRS sounds like a R8 man wtf
The king of specs, can't wait for the Carx Street sound video 😮🎉
The car sounds are amazing, really hoping they improve the issues with server and optimize the game a bit more in the coming months.
Bugatti has 3 cars, all with the same engine and not that much differences and they share the same soundfile.....what a surprise there...
Am i the only one where my cars are QUIET even on full throttle?
I'm on a PS5
Change your audio settings & hear what’s better (i have the issue with my samsung tv and 7.1)
1 thing i would say is transmission, i really dont hear the difference between a dual clutch transmission, a single clutch transmission, or a manual
Holy damn the dino sounds gorgeous
Internal display of the car, why does not have the GPS like the TDU1/2??
Why NFS U2 sounds still better than any 2024 game
Why are people surprised the game is a mess and with login errors? The same happened in a beta build that wasn’t even finished, but by the looks of things it’s the same version on release, and people pre ordered it lmfao
The steering wheel movement is too slow for me, input lag is crazy
Me just being picky I think it would have been a good idea if the outside speed cluster actually matches each car unique interior cluster.
I feel only the lambos ,, sound great and precise perfect!!😅
Do you think they will ever add an offline version?
Why does the 370z sound like an E46 M3?
Why did they repeat the same mistake Forza Horizon 5 did and still haven't fixed?
15:48 the sense of speed is CRAZY
Insane right? 🐎
Idk if its just me, but they all sound like the recording of a go pro stuck to the rear bumper.. It doesn't really sound natural
They need to rev higher like a lot of comments said, you think they'll ever actually fix this?
Why is the electric Porsche shifting? Thats massive fail 😂 as far as i know, electric cars have only one gear.
It has 2 gears like in real life!
