I know some of these sounds might be unrealistic but holy shit do they sound good. Why can't Forza have better backfire sounds and more depth to the sounds? I want backfires, I want crackles and pops and bags. It might be unrealistic on some cars but it sounds so much better.
To feel sense of speed in wheel camera, you will need 3 screens, 2 in your peripheral vision. Fast passing objects cause sense of speed. Even cameo feels fast. I am loving this game.
Drove the 918 for the first time last night on the crown jewels jade race and I was behind 2nd by about 6 seconds and the last 10% I finally caught up and slipstream going I was going about 370 some freaky shit man 😂
The game has a pretty balanced economy system and the cars have plenty of detail down to the engine sounds, with even the upgrades themselves having an impact. KT did a phenomenal job with those. However the lack of a gambling system, real estate and property customisation systems, as well as the persistent online requirement handicap the experience and prevent it from having a pure tdu feeling. KT needs to focus on those things now. The map is varied and decent, but the graphics? The graphics need work in a lot of places.
With motion blur on and limited to 30 FPS the sense of speed is massive. If you had motion blur disabled and if 120 FPS+ were possible it would be a lot more manageable.
Mine’s stuck on the first couple of races, something to do with “moment of truth” Can’t progress at all. Just started playing today It’s a shame it looks really cool
Yea so many sounds in the game the sound engineer must of messed up and added the wrong sounds to those cars I believe they only have one sound guy which I guess isn’t so bad you get more accurate car sounds when it’s just one guy that has a ear for music he knows how to capture sounds accurately but being a one man team you probably lose track and mess up on a few compared to majority like in modern Forza Horizon games I’ve seen him he’s done major of the car sounds in the game car by car dude is one of the best video game car sounds engineers I’ve ever seen in years!!!
You know the plysics are busted when a goddamn 2CV somehow reaches almost 300 km/h...speed at which it would've been already disintegrated 😂 Apparently the offroad physics aren't that good either, or at least, they're in need of a slight rework

This game reminds me of a prime Forza Horizon game like Forza Horizon 1 and 2 rather than a successor to a Test Drive Unlimited game which isn’t bad but Test Drive offered what Forza Horizon did but more it had every thing Forza had but it had the car guy lifestyle, rpg and mmo aspect to the game which just isn’t present in this game hopefully they add this stuff but if you just want a fun racing game on PlayStation that’s more realistic this is the game it feels like I’m playing Forza Horizon after 2 this feels like it would’ve came after that game

I often hear car as they shift, you'll hear one pop each shift, if it is to occur, the double pop in this game feels a little unrealistic. Another random rant i have is with the turbos, now to their credit, they nailed it in the BOV sounds, i almost cream my pants whenever i hear the turbo spools and BOV effects, nasty and awesome, however, i feel as tho there needs to have a BoP of some sorr with some car having near 3000hp, while some hypercar are barely peaking 2000hp. I personally feel in a game, stats wise 1600 to 2000hp is like the perfect insanity and realism. But 3000hp sounds too good to be true😂. Lastly those antilag turbos are underwhelming, how is it locked under lvl 45 but its worse than the powerful turbo, also if you want to call it antilag turbo it should have antilag effects right?, apart from turbos lighting up sooner, it should backfire even more? Let out like huge flames or something, isnt that what antilag does? Again these are just random opinions of mine, i still havent cop the game yet, but perhaps with user feedback they can improve on these little details that should make the game much more fun to play and enjoy on.

Bro they have to nerf the upgrades. 600km/h is absurd for any car. In previous TDU games, upgrades didn't have such drastic effects on the cars. 400km/h should be max speed for most cars, except of course the Hypercars like the Regera, Chiron etc. These cars should be able to get to like 470-500 km/h max.
Don’t ruin the fun, they shouldn’t nerf the upgrades. I’m glad they have such drastic effects on the cars in this game makes it feel a bit more realistic in a way. And being able to go 600 kmh in a car is just funny and I’m glad we can
They don’t need to nerf the upgrades as a whole they just need to nerf those specific cars slightly it’s probably a bug because those two cars both when modded in real life can touch bare minimum 1500HP
