But when these games first came out people refused to buy them, and they actively trashed them on release. A lot of "fans" complain about the state of modern racing games but refuse to give gems like these a chance. Show these devs and publishers that you actually will buy and support these games or they'll keep dying out like this.

It's already an Ace Combat for Racing games (sorry Ridge Racer), but if the story could be just a bit better and the OST integrates with leitmotifs of characters and story.

The car sounds from Ayumu Uehara's Sauber C9, Shioriko Mifune's 787B, Mia Taylor's Bentley Speed 8, Ai Miyashita's V12 LMR, BRZ TUNED, and 917/30 in GRID LEGENDS are also very accurate like in real life.

I’ve downloaded this game again after watching this video and it’s definitely a hidden gem of a game! Attention to detail is really good, footwork, handbrake and shifting animations are really good. Please do another sound video of the cars from the cockpit view! 🙌

I'm glad someone finally mentioned that Grid Legends is the closest thing we got to another PGR game. Yeah, that's what I thought all the time. Had a blast playing it. If only it had stable framerate on Series X and had some cool music as a bonus😢
I finished the story mode and almost completed the first 3 career mode on series X a year ago. I don't recall any slowdown at all. It's a steady 60fps. There is even an option to go 120fps at a much lower resolution on series X. I'm replaying this game again on PC at the moment. The force feedback and detailed with a steering wheel is much better on pc, just like any other game. I have a blast with this game. Hopefully, we will get another Grid game.
19:21 just noticed that the EVO 6 pretty much still uses the same sound the EVO 9 & 10 had in DiRT 2 (2009) and DiRT 3, and it still sounds good today. Shows you how timeless they were and how much effort was put into those games
The only gripe I have with this game is that during a collision, you are basically driving a Peel P50 compared to AI opponents. Otherwise it's a great game!
There needs to be a new Project Gotham already, or a new spiritual successor, I believe that boss alien games (creators of CSR 2) and milestone (creators of MotoGP and Hot Wheels Unleashed) are more than up to the task. Imagine the good they will create while staying true to the spirit and action of that same series.

Interesting to say the least You have some really unusual and very cool cars like the McLaren M8D, Moby Dick Porsche, Aussie Supercars, the iconic Volvo Wagon touring car and Alonso's R26. On the other hand, you also get fictional brands to fill content gaps, no McLaren street cars, no "traditional" R34/R35, no Toyota (unless you consider the BRZ), engine swapped drift cars and wacky EVs

If you're complaining of the lack of a mobile porting, I think this is enough to describe what's different from GT. Yes, GT PSP existed, but I don't find that GT fans got excited by it. Probably bringing back the original Trial Mountain could do so

No one is better than the other, they are two different kinds of racing games, if you want a boring clean driving there's GT, otherwise there's a good choice of arcade games spacing from Grid and Forza Horizon to Burnout and Ridge Racer, and if GT is not realistic enough, as it is limited by the necessity of being massively sold, there are the hardcore sims like vanilla AC and Iracing

I dunno, I still have mixed feelings about this one compared to GRID (2019). I appreciate the enhanced visuals, the amazing photo mode, more game modes, better Career mode, and Story mode, but there's something off to car handling and camera (I'm playing chase cam only) - it's like in LEGENDS they were made... less engaging, and more safe, I would even say 'casualized'. It's like there's no risk to overcook the turn and spin the car out anymore, having the same settings as in GRID (2019) the sequel just felt much more boring to me. The game's still a great fun package, but I kinda prefer GRID (2019) tbh. But as I said the visuals were upgraded a ton, especially the weather fx, and the reflections, and ohmygod the tire smoke effect, it's just godlike.
I think its not supposed to be as complex as gt or sim racing, Grid is Codemasters classic the only thing missing is damage deformation overall its good

If you're excited by the mobile version of this game, you don't have the right of talking of GT. Just I point that instead of buying a phone capable of running this game, you may have bought a DD and played in a less boring manner at less boring games LOL. Also, look how good is the weather in Grid, a car running in the fog not being affected at all by the tiny wet layer that rain tyres can't dissipate

Grid legends, driveclub, and dare I say, project cars 3, all instantly remind me of Project Gotham, nothing but Simcade greatness.

The old Sound team Quit after FH3 :( They have all been Re-Hired now however which is why the latest update has seen some Incredible Sounds added! :)

Szkoda, że Grid na Ps4 pro wygląda jak gra z przed dekady.
It‘s a old console already, what do you expect, sadly driveclub would have killed anything if it came to newer consoles as a remaster
