I've gotten so pumped myself that I decided to start posting video content again after 6 years... Cheers to new beginnings. There's always some excitement with them.
I purchased The Crew 2 about a week ago and your Beginners Tips helped me get started and advance to the ICON level. Now I could use a little more direction in regards to preparing for Motorfest. Can you make a video for those of us who are trying to improve our skills and acquire as many cars as we can so that they transfer over to the new game? What essential cars, bike, boats and planes do you recommend we try and get since we don’t have time to gather most of them? I’ve been grinding in the Street Race category primarily, so I have the basic driving skills down and own a few cars. Is it also important for us to acquire some of the best motorcycles, planes and boats, or they not that important? Are there any skills that we should work on with those vehicles? Thanks!
Set icon points to Rich, equip best rich parts to your interceptor hypercar, and repeat the Highway Chase event all day while watching videos on your other screen.
Yeah I agree I love the absolute chaos of everyone crashing into each other also tests your reaction times and avoiding skills and yes it would be really boring and imo not very engaging if all the other players were ghosts and you just drive through them this makes it seem more like a battle having to fight your way to the front of the pack looking forward to entering my first grand race on Thursday
Hey trigger! ended up selling my ps4 a few months ago before unbound came out, but i got a pc and am back for the unbound builds. been watching all the vids i missed and its good to know youre still at it making high quality content💯
In my opinion, they just took a step back and made the crew just like every other racer out there. What made the crew so special was the mock yet close version of the United States. The thrill of driving from coast to coast is so dope. My wife even played it and she doesnt play racing games at all. Im going to skip this one and just play the crew 1 or 2 or the lastest forza horizon.
@@awesomeredpandax2267 the combination of both games. The had cops that chased you in one but not in the other one. You could only be a cop if you played some missions. 100% agree with u. They had something special and unique and decided to copy another game, makes no sense. Should have kept the game in the US and kept the map big. We just wanted everything that’s in motorfest on that large map. We needed better graphics, mechanics and sounds. I’m disappointed with this one, feels like a fh5 remake
For the grand race, it seems like Starting position really matters when there’s so many players at one time. You start at 21st out of 28 players? Good luck 😂
Yes and No. The crew features crazy drafting and the farther you start in the back the more nos you have at the start. You can easily pass people but not with the monster trucks. thats a mess and a half.
@@MilitiaGamingCommunity that makes sense to give more nitrous in the back. So good. The net code seems to be well for so many players also, but so guess we’ll see when millions are hitting the servers at the same time as well lol
11. You cannot control the aircraft's roll and pitch independently, so you cannot roll then fly upside down. 12. You cannot own a living space or garage or walk around in it like The Crew 2 (TC2). Hopefully The Crew Motorfest is a spin-off and an official "numbered" entry in the series, The Crew 3, will have more lifestyle spaces like TC2.
@@ManManGambinoyou ain’t gotta play unbound, brother. There’s plenty other titles you can try if you want a thrilling police chase. Personally, I recommend heat, but to each their own
The thing I'm a little off about us the physics. The cars don't have much grip and slide a fair bit when you turn. In Crew 2 it was much easier to brake and turn corners faster. Edit: another big problem I find with this game is that the races you have to complete, they don't let you use your own vehicle. You have to use a loaned vehicle for every required race completion. Which I think is just stupid coz it makes the game harder.
I think it makes the game easier, they wouldn’t set you up with a car that wouldn’t be more than enough. And besides, you can use your own vehicle after completing the playlist.
Does anyone that has been playing know if there are any garage/house properties to showcase your cars like in TC2? I was really looking forward to something similar but haven’t figured it out yet.
That's what I would do if I was slightly embarrassed about it. But, I'm sure that they will add other islands as expansions later. The support for their games is amazing.

Honestly, if there wasn't an insane player count for The Crew 2, then what makes them so sure there will be in Motorfest? It's still the same game in that you REQUIRE a persistent Internet connection to play it, and some or most players don't like that either because they don't like the whole idea of it, don't have great Internet connection at all, or both.
First time viewer, I came here because the video idea is interesting. As an old TDU player, I was briefly intrigued about this title, but the more I saw, the more I realised that what I want from Motorfest, TDU just does better, so it just seems like chasing past glories to me. Sad to say, but the only game announced right now that I'm actually looking forward to is TDU Solar Crown. The only thing that still attracts me to Motorfest is the fact I can't ride an Indian anywhere other than The Crew, and that's not exactly a good reason to buy on its own. P.S. I don't know how you manage to read every message, even at your level. If I see 5 DMs, it gets a bit daunting, so I'll end this one by saying to have a nice day and that I enjoyed the video
Thanks for the thoughtful comment. I read and respond to all direct messages on my socials like IG, Twitter and Discord. RUclips comments are super tough to keep up with because of the volume. But I caught this one and to your points about TCM, I think it’s much more of a “weekly grind/competitive” game than TDU SC. I think TDU is much more about your status, your vibe, your cruises and your vehicles. Whereas TCM is all about competing. Almost all post story content is multiplayer and literally every event in the game has a global leaderboard. I’m there for the grind, the free content and of course the sheer number of vehicles.
@@MilitiaGamingCommunity Yeah, that's a fair assessment. I'm growing tired of the weekly grind with the likes of Forza Horizon and have long since stopped caring about PvP racing. I like to jump into the game when I feel like it and for as long as I want, rather than the "do this much in this period of time to get this reward" formula. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the former just feels more rewarding to me and less of a chore. While I do like the idea behind the themed events in TCM, that's basically the extent of what I'd be interested in completing, even though I never got far in either of the previous releases
I wish they could do an event that happens every 7 days, like vulcano errupting and going down on the road and then you cant even cross the road for 2 hours, so ppl needs to fly over or get to destination with boats. Would be really cool

3:52 you can get them. but it's a bit hard. So there are 2 types of cars that you can't get: Summit cars and motorpass cars. Motorpass cars will be available but not from release. You will have to wait a couple more seasons (as they become available by the season) Summit cars are bit weirder, but from what I saw from the closed beta, you will be able to get them, but it will be really hard for a new player to compete in endgame content. Some cars might not even be in summits. But most of the cars that are in summits are just special editions so there's that
The police aspect is probably a requirement to feature Toyota cars. For several years, Toyota cars were absent from nearly every game that wasn’t sanctioned, on-track motorsports. When asked why Toyota was missing from some game, maybe NFS post-NFS 2015 reboot, Toyota tweeted that “You can find Toyota cars in Gran Turismo Sport which does not promote illegal street racing” or some such. Forza worked something out with Toyota, and Toyota has been present since Horizon 3 DLC. Likely they clarified that despite being on public roads, Horizon is technically sanctioned racing hence there being no police presence. This is why Toyota has come back to some open-world racing games, but is still not in Need for Speed games, which at this point, NFS is really the only open-world racing game with legitimately licensed cars that is about very obviously illegal street racing.
IDK about the test drive feature. After completing all the available playlists, I only had 800,000 something credits. I would have loved to test drive the more expensive cars and motorcycles.

I’m new to The Crew. I played one of them on pc for about 15 min. or so, but ran very laggy, so don’t know much about them. I do play Forza Horizon a lot. Motorfest looks really good and I’d love to have it. I have a few issues though.. - €120 for the Ultimate is a lot, especially for a ‘new’ game. Is it worth all that money? €50 more than the standard edition is a lot and should come with a lot too. Unfortunately it’s all digital now, so no physical bonuses like we used to get - Can you collect all the cars? I heard something about carrying cars over from The Crew 2. How does that work? Can new players still collect all cars in Motorfest? It’s one of the reasons I’m looking at the Ultimate Version because I do like to collect everything in games - Is there a livery editor in Motorfest like in Forza? I do like to create vinyls and build replica’s of cars. Thanks!
You can customize the liveries a lot, if you haven't played The Crew 2 it's going to be pretty hard to get a lot of the cars because the prices for the cars are more than the last one. From the start of the game it asks if you want to transfer all your cars from TC2 and says it's permanent and can't be changed so I think it's a one time thing so getting additional cars in TC2 has to be done before you start this game. The ultimate edition gives 2 cars every month and a motorpass subscription for a year and a couple of bonus cars from the start and 3 days early access. It wasn't very clear whether transferring all your cars from TC2 is for all versions of the game or just the ultimate edition and whether that is a limited time thing or something that will be just a part of the game. Overall I love the map, the interface is so much nicer to use and the graphics and are way better-everything just looks so nice. So far I highly recommend it, the game has been a blast to play!
You missed that in The crew 2 when you accelerated the exhaust let out fire, not in this one, I was disappointed by this because I expect to do ratata with the supra
You can inspect and enter the people's cars in the tuning event at the main hall. But you can't inspect and enter your OWN Vehicles because you don't have a house or garage anymore to do that, which feels really really strange tbh 😂😂
Mal abwarten.
Ubisoft has stated all cars that were exclusive to crew 2 motorpasses will be added and will have a price. They dont plan on making more summit cars but having every one ever be reoccuring for players to obtain. Thank goodness some have already had price added
Not making the cars easy is honestly a great thing! TC works better if the cars are a grind to get, just because there is so much to do in the game. If we were spoon fed free cars left and right like Forza, the game would feel boring in a month. Instead of giving us reason to play for about 3 or 5 years like it is with TC2.
Yeah one of the many reasons I’ve always preferred the crew games over forza it actually feels like an accomplishment when you finally have earned enough bucks to get that car you’ve always wanted I agree just being gifted cars in forza with that wheel thing makes that game way too easy - I like how the crew games you actually have to complete challenges which earns you money and feels like a full on adventure
We're here in 2023, almost 2024 and we can't customize every part of the car to our own liking. That's just sad. Anyway, still looking forward to it. I'll wait for a sale.
I would wait for a sale but I missed the beta unfortunately and really want to play this game also no one knows when it will go sale I will be purchasing the standard pc edition on Thursday for my aya Neo handheld pc
I played TC2 for a year or two, i bought a lot of cars and spent so much, i wanted the game but didnt want to restart, when i realized i could transfer i then bought the crew motorfest gold. I cant wait until it releases
The driving mechanism in the crew 2 is way better besides the strong stiffness in the handling which is very my easy to take corners at a very high speed compared to motorfest where the handling is completely way to loose
I think a possibility for the reasoning behind not being a able to customize head or tail lights is due to it not being compatible with the front or rear bumper and the only way to change your lights is by picking a specific front or rear bumper although it would be cool to be able to do it yourself I kinda appreciate them doing that in a sense because in need for speed you would buy a bumper that would change your lights because of it not being compatible with that bumper or body kit and you would just lose in game currency that you worked for by having to give up on the mod you just bought because of it not being compatible but it would be cool if motor fest at least gave us some tint modification for the head and tail lights😊😊😊. Just a guess btw
I paid 60 and played the crew 2 I was so unhappy cuz I remember the crew 1 had this super engaging action packed storyline that I LOVED then the crew 2 just turned into some basic ass racing games, racing airplanes was also a turn off for me, I don’t mind motorcycles, hell even boats are fine.
My #1 question which i don't really see many talk about (which is kinda strange) is whether we could travel to the United states because as much as i love this new location the size of the map that has been really big for MANY YEARS has been shrunken down alot so I would really love to travel between the two areas kinda like forza and test drive unlimited. In my opinion that's what made the crew so fun to play being able to travel across the whole United states with random players you end up running into on the way while blasting some of your favorite music.
Exactly the biggest thing that set the crew apart was the map and being able to see big landmarks across the US and road-trip with the boys for hours blasting tunes finding all the sweet spots to drive just vibing it was different it was truly unique
@@carsonesch2670 I'm kinda sad that the crew 2 wasn't as popular like we got cool custom cars, boats and hovercrafts, helicopters and planes, a car pass you could literally buy with in game money, demolitions cars, police cars and so much more. And they wanna compare the crew games to Forza and need for speed when the crew is way more different in a better way than both of em combined🤦♂️ It's sad how if the game doesn't have assetto Corsa driving physics and graphics people just hate on it without giving it a chance. @@igotnoodlesgold9193 well motorfest isn’t “small” takes a good 18 minutes in a hyper car but it’s much more vibrant and colorful and overall I think it’s going to be a better game than tc2 and there’s a lot of talk about Japan and maybe other islands coming in (that’s not official) which would help combat the smaller map
I like that you can't just buy cars from the crew 2 because I will never get back the time I invested into it, but I can always show off the products and they will always have meaning as long as Ubisoft keeps that. It may stink about that but it is a nice way of giving the more loyal of us a way of showing our experience in game. WHERES MY HELICOPTER UBISOFT?
I played the Crew 1 through its entirety a few months ago and really liked it too but I never played the 2nd game at all and I just finished playing the demo for Motorfest and its definitely pretty awesome in my opinion! I had alot of fun playing Motorfest so I'm definitely gonna buy the game itself but I'm probably gonna wait for a sale though, I don't think any racing game is ever worth a full $60 no matter how good it is, $40 or less is alot more reasonable atleast for me
Well like I been saying to folks. Want it? keep pestering. Even where people would say the time isn't the time for the conversation. If they're not going to make the space for the conversation, then there is no other right time. Such is for MotorStorm with SONY, Crimson Skies is with Microsoft, Bloody Roar is with Konami, and DarkStalkers, Rival Schools and Lost Planet with Capcom. I could go on, but those are prime targets that should be fought for. If money wasn't an issue and I had a publisher ready to bring me in to negotiate the acquisition of these and other licenses, gaming would be a lot better for it. Especially if they further had me checking over team work and design plans. Sadly though, that's not going to happen, so the best one can do is fight and be disruptive. Sadly it's the only thing big companies understand, when you can have an effect on change on their progress future weather they like it or not. Such can be used for bad, like we've seen, but not all pressure is bad.@@LycanPrime8200
How is the handling compared to the Crew 2. I started it, but I haven't kept up because I didn't like how it felt. (And I already have enough trouble switching back and forth between FH5 and Unbound, lol.)
Similar in a lot of ways but so different. It feels like they dialed back the Arcade and went a tiny bit in the direction of simcade. It definitely feels more like FH5 than TC2….but you can still kinda feel the heritage of TC 2.
For me it feels like each car has a lot more character but all the cars are more drifty and the steering is way less sensitive than TC2. It's been weird for me because many of the cars in TC2 that transferred over feel way different in this game. The driving feels more unique in this game but is a bit harder, you have to work a little harder to keep these cars on the road. Also they made many more things like trees, barriers, fences breakable so for my first hour playing I was flying off the road constantly.
How much customization are wa talking? Is it just body? Or can you upgrade the engine, tires, exhaust, etc? Is there more or less customisation thzn in NFS Heat? Thanks. Great video. Thumbed up.
You can customize things like bodywork, paint, livery and add effects like neons, tire smoke, nitrous flames and you can upgrade the overall "Brakes/Tires/Engine/transmission, etc." but you can't get individual suspension, brakes or engine parts
I just want a deeper tuning function. Like adjusting ride height, etc. And with The Crew 2 cars, I played it. But have NONE of them available. Kinda upsetting.
They should have kept the USA, and expanded more on it. Not just one state. This is really disappointing, I feel like the game is going to be extremely underwhelming.
One thing I hope is added is the Bugatti Chiron 300+ Divine Edition from season 8 motorpass. Top speed of 305, fastes hyper car that I have but it's only in crew 2 as of now
You can change gear ratios for individual cars but I don't think you can change each gear individually but I've only customized about 3 or 4 cars so far so it may be available for different cars
All of the Crew 2 cars should be purchasable (barring licensing issues) from day one. Yes, even the Summit and Motorpass cars. As the owner of a few “rare” and no longer obtainable cars, I still do not support FOMO practices in games. I’m ok with temporary exclusivity, like a month or so, but the reward for winning the car should be that it’s FREE. Don’t punish someone who couldn’t play the game that week. Micro transactions and FOMO practices are what stop me from playing games. Locking content away from me because I decided to take a break and play another game for a while is cheap and actually prevents me from wanting to pick it back up. We need to put a stop to these practices. I should be able to gain access to every car available in the game, especially if I paid for yearly passes, regardless of when I play.
Same here, I stopped playing TC2 for a few years for the same reason. Especially when putting the time in to complete the summit doesn't mean you'll definitely get the rewards if you don't have the nitro chemist or skills boost legendary parts.

Thanks!
are you alright with doing glitches to make ur grind a lil easier ? i got sumn for u in that case
Set icon points to Rich, equip best rich parts to your interceptor hypercar, and repeat the Highway Chase event all day while watching videos on your other screen.
Grand Race may have collisions but thats what makes it fun, if it was ghosted I wouldn't participate cause it would be very boring, no more chaos
I don’t think we’re supposed to take the grand races that seriously
Hey trigger! ended up selling my ps4 a few months ago before unbound came out, but i got a pc and am back for the unbound builds. been watching all the vids i missed and its good to know youre still at it making high quality content💯

You should have stuff with console. Pc is full of hacked and modded lobbies!!
Biggest mistake
at least i got a xbox out of it. i got ea play so i think i can use my series s too
Good decision bro. Welcome to the pc community. These consoles players don't even get half of the best things they missed out with their console
They already did it twice what could they possibly bring to the table
My thoughts exactly they tried to be like forza to much they even took the pedestrians away feels empty
@@awesomeredpandax2267 the combination of both games. The had cops that chased you in one but not in the other one. You could only be a cop if you played some missions. The graphics were top tier and the many different options of gameplay weather effects and more. You dont come off as a gamer or someone who played either one.

The penthouse was sick having all your favorite cars parked inside

Can you adjust ride height? Played the beta and it wasn’t in there and I’ve heard it wasn’t in any of the crew games before.
Amen, not seeing the whole map was very annoying. Maybe they're trying to make it seem bigger by doing that
I never thought of it that way but yeah that could be a weird mental game they are playing.
That's what I would do if I was slightly embarrassed about it. But, I'm sure that they will add other islands as expansions later. The support for their games is amazing.
Or they are hiding the neighbouring islands which might be future expansions.
One more you can change the colors of your rims✅️ but you can't change the color of each rim individually❌️. I hope they change that people who want that too

Pre-ordered the gold edition i upload my first video on monday!
2:02 meanwhile TDU 1 where you could zoom out on the map so much that the entire planet with the game's credits was visible
Yeah TDU is what I grew up on. It just hit different 💯

3:52 you can get them. but it's a bit hard.
So there are 2 types of cars that you can't get: Summit cars and motorpass cars.
Motorpass cars will be available but not from release. You will have to wait a couple more seasons (as they become available by the season)
Summit cars are bit weirder, but from what I saw from the closed beta, you will be able to get them, but it will be really hard for a new player to compete in endgame content. Some cars might not even be in summits. But most of the cars that are in summits are just special editions so there's that
Am mad about the Proto Spear Concept, i wanted that car with those like turbines.
Its weird bc why can you buy the Lamborghini Huracán Performante and Ferrari F12 TDF but not the onther summit cars from the crew 2 in motorfest?

Turns out the crew is way better then horizon.
I'm curious if there's any sense of progression? Like starting with slow cars and working your way up to hypercars etc
Yes. There will be a grind. But the real game starts when you max out your cars. That’s when you start competing in summits and pvp activities
IDK about the test drive feature. After completing all the available playlists, I only had 800,000 something credits. I would have loved to test drive the more expensive cars and motorcycles.
you can test them, for 3 minutes, what you can't do is take pictures of them
The reward ceates hidden around the island often have decent cash rewards (between 5k and 90k from what I saw).
@@Ryzza5 Are those crates related to the playlist? The only type I encountered gave out cars and credits for playlist completion. I didn't explore outside of playlists and the two multiplayer modes.

Is there demolition derby? I love that mode
yes!!! and now its a battle royale style mode
I still haven’t discovered everything on the crew 2 map but im ranked high as hell soo I think I might stick with the crew 2 for a lil while longer
Unfortunately it’s all digital now, so no physical bonuses like we used to get
- Can you collect all the cars? I heard something about carrying cars over from The Crew 2. How does that work? Can new players still collect all cars in Motorfest? It’s one of the reasons I’m looking at the Ultimate Version because I do like to collect everything in games
- Is there a livery editor in Motorfest like in Forza?

I agree. I prefer The Crew’s system over FH

Double Plum Bopla!
Can I play split screen and play my friend using two controllers on one console ?
I wish but NO 😢
The driving mechanism in the crew 2 is way better besides the strong stiffness in the handling which is very my easy to take corners at a very high speed compared to motorfest where the handling is completely way to loose
You also cant use any of your cars in a race, only loaner cars. Kind of makes getting better parts and customization pointless.
With a smaller map we get better graphics almost no pc could properly run tc2s map with newgen graphics
@@ryanritter3411 ah well I play on console I never knew about the PC side of things

Awesome! Glad to have helped.

I had alot of fun playing Motorfest so I'm definitely gonna buy the game itself but I'm probably gonna wait for a sale though, I don't think any racing game is ever worth a full $60 no matter how good it is, $40 or less is alot more reasonable atleast for me
You cant enter the photomode while test-driving but you can go back when you opened the photomode and take pics
We need a new MotorStorm instead. 😢
Ikr they missing a lot of money by not making one.
Better than TC2 but not quite as refined as FH5. If you can tolerate GRID Legends you should be fine.
Thumbed up.
I would think engine, exhaust, breaking, wheels as this was a feature in the first two crew games
You can customize things like bodywork, paint, livery and add effects like neons, tire smoke, nitrous flames and you can upgrade the overall "Brakes/Tires/Engine/transmission, etc." but you can't get individual suspension, brakes or engine parts
This was awesome as someone who comes from nfs underground mad respect to the effort you put in you're content!!!❤
Is it worth buying now?
Will we start with $10 million in motorfest?
😂 No you do not...
Does your money on the crew 2 transfers over to the crew motorfest or you got to get your money through playing the game?
No it does not unfortunately
You need to earn bucks from races and challenges
I just want a deeper tuning function. Like adjusting ride height, etc. And with The Crew 2 cars, I played it. But have NONE of them available. Kinda upsetting.
nfs heat had my favorite car customization. if only other games were as in depth.
You forgot to mention that you CAN’T play the game with your mates even though the game is called The CREW.
They should have kept the USA, and expanded more on it. Not just one state. This is really disappointing, I feel like the game is going to be extremely underwhelming.
That map feels really small
Wish they didn't waste their resources on planes and boats to focus more on the cars and customization
One question. Can I buy 2 of the same vehicle?
No but you can own multiple editions
One thing I hope is added is the Bugatti Chiron 300+ Divine Edition from season 8 motorpass. Top speed of 305, fastes hyper car that I have but it's only in crew 2 as of now
1:15 Barricade what are you doing! Get back to work!
Can you disable the npc cars? Or do something so you don't crash into them.
Have they removed the ability to change the transparency of your decals in this game?
Can you tune individual gears
You can change gear ratios for individual cars but I don't think you can change each gear individually but I've only customized about 3 or 4 cars so far so it may be available for different cars
Is there fire coming from exhausts or no?
No
Remove speedometer and mini map along with voices, and it will make your game experience so much better.
So we can stance our cars? I dont think its an option.. which is like, why not have such a big thing in the customizing scene?
They need to add a hellcat charger and sum other cars too
That car is in this game!
Most annoying thing Ubisoft does to the crew series is giving no tuning options to some cars or just carbon parts😮💨
