I've a few recipes up that uses it which include Corn Chaat, Samosa Chaat and of the this recipe which you've already tried. Please take a look at the videos to see if they're of interest to you. 😊👍

OMG! Made this tonight and it’s DEFO one of my favourite of yours Shamza!! Sooo super yummy! The only problem is I am absolutely STUFFED now coz I couldn’t stop tasting it as I was cooking! Hi David, just halve the quantity of all ingredients which will give you the exact amounts. My salt levels are slightly low rather than too much which you may have to adjust a little by adding more in but you can do that once you've finished cooking and see.
I have a question on the spices for the meat marinade, you say 1 teaspoon but the heaps of seasoning on your plate look like a lot more than a teaspoon, could the measurements actually be tablespoons instead of teaspoons? or are the British teaspoons bigger than American teaspoon which is 5 ml.

Uncle Wonton, chaat masala is very unique in taste and I'd say the nearest thing as a substitute would be black salt. But like Royal Nag said, leave it out completely as adding other ingredients to try replace the chaat masala will potentially spoil the overall taste of the dish. 😊👍
I want to make this for my mother but she cannot eat tomatoes due to an allergy. I know it’s a stretch but is there a substitute for the tomato, bell peppers perhaps? Thanks.
Hi there, peppers will work but the overall base masala may be a little on the sweeter side when compared to using tomatoes. Best way is to try the recipe and see 😊👍
