I made these yesterday. Did them on the bbq… holy cow. I also cooked the leftover onion marinade and added some yogurt… wow. As good or better than the restaurant. Thanks for the recipe!
I made these over the weekend for myself and a guest - without the sizzler theatrics (maybe next time). I marinaded the chops for about 20 hours and they came out very tender and full of flavour. A cracking starter for not a lot of effort. 👍
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes I thought that you would appreciate knowing that I again made the chops for friends, one of whom is a professional cook. Their email response on arriving home was, "Those lamb chops!!!!!!! Sooooo absolutely delicious, wonderful flavours, blended perfectly. We really, really enjoyed it!" Your recipe is clearly a crowd-pleaser. 😋
I am about to make shoulder chops in a bit but a variation on your recipe. I skipped the onion and coriander because my son is sensitive to coriander. Instead used more minced garlic and ginger paste. I am going to grill them also. Cheers from Florida.
Thank you for this marvellous recipe ❤I made these for my English in laws yesterday - they were amazing! Everyone loved them. I was a bit nervous about not using yogurt and using grated onion instead but I blitzed my onion as I had no grater, left the marinade for a day and then froze them for the following week. Took them out yesterday to defrost, and mum told me to fry / brown them off in the pan first and then put them in the oven with foil at 160 degrees for 60 minutes. I removed the foil and gave them another 15 minutes at 220 degrees. Served them to the delight of my husband and his family. I’m a veggie by the way so I don’t get to taste these dishes😂.
Oh wow as a man who grew up and lived in Bradford most of my life. I soon became a curry addict. However 12 years ago I moved to Australia and honestly you can't get a decent curry here its so frustrating. I discovered your RUclips channel recently and I am definitely going to try these chops and so many of your other recipes. Looks like you will be my new foodie best friend. I have liked and subscribed. Looking forward to trying for myself. Thank you very much 👍👍👍
It is actually very easy to learn how to cook BIR curry in Australia. There are a couple of forums which have been around for years, and now Facebook pages and so much on RUclips.
Love it! BTW I made your version of your Karahi Chicken recipe (with slight modification of my own making). The best curry I ever made! Thank you for sharing. One improvement I would suggest for the masala lamb chops is to include a bit of acid ... maybe juice of half a lime which would, in my opinion, increase the flavour penetration into the meat without making them taste sour.
JazakAllah 😊👍 the chops are slightly chewy as I like mine medium+ but it you wanted to maybe add a tablespoon of raw papaya paste when marinating or cook them 2 mins less on each side - they'll be more softer.
I love your air fryer recipes and your tip on flattening the lamb job was inspirational !! I have coming from Amazon some of the spices you recommended or suggested ! 👍👍 I am going to use my air fryer or my crock pot slow cooker! I can’t wait to get started!! Thanks very much ! 👏👏👏👏🥰
Thanks for that. Looks lovely. I have some pork chops in the fridge, can I use this same recipe for it or will the spice not taste right with pork? Also what oil did you use?
This recipe is sooooo good. I made these as your recipe and honestly better than restaurants. You made me a next level cook. Next task for to make aftari with family and friends using this recipe!
Made this on the same day as your chicken wings curry. Marination was done the night before and the whole process was so easy. Oh,I also bought the sizzler plate. Can’t wait to try this out🙂👍🏼

Hi Sophie, thanks for your comment 😊 You can serve these with rice, a nice salad with naan or pitta bread or even Mediterranean couscous which is lovely ☺👍
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes sorry I meant the jar I have is mixed ginger and garlic paste, so would I put 2 tbsp? I'm not sure of the ratio in the mixed jars!
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes thank you so much for replying. It all turned out really nice, I've never made the masala with onion before. Thanks for sharing recipe!
i feel as though the restaurants use papaya powder to tenderise the lamb even more - especially in places like Akhbars. Give it a try next time! Your recipe is awesome btw!
All depends on how you like your meat! Rare, medium or well done! Mine was border line well done as per timings in the video. If you're after medium then reduce it by a couple of mins. Always try 1 chop first rather than a whole batch to get that perfect timing! 😆
Made it for the wife, family and friends on the weekend ,everyone loved it .❤️🇦🇺
Thank you so much, glad it was well recieved.
I can swear by this recipe that it will come out very tasty n I am writing a review after trying it, thanks for sharing

Just reduce the salt a little, rest of the ingredients are fine as they are.
Stunning, OH my God I just want to have ,but need to wait few weeks ,it's lent.
Do you use any kind of meat tenderiser before marinating the lamb chops?
No I didn't but you can use one if you wish

Glad these were well received. Thank you 😊👍
Mouth watering,v.tempting,I am vegetarian but I cook for the family.enjoyed watching you tasting 😂😂
Looks delicious can you grill them?
Yes of course you can.
Can you cook this on bbq?
Yes i dont see why not, cooking times will need to be adjusted.
surprised you didnt add yogurt for tenderising
Hi this looks delicious, I've marinated the lamb chops. Just wondering could I make them in the air fryer or oven too, or will they dry out?
What spices did you use, and were they all equal amounts?
Everything is listed in the description box 😊👍
MashaAllah looks amazing! Can't wait to try it.. where did you get the cast iron and wooden plate from?
I actually tried out the recipe today. Got good feedback from the people trying them
Thanks, I'll put a link in the description box.
Tried this the other day……f*** me they were the best I’ve ever made at home!!! Good skills Ma’am
Thank you 😁👍
Can you cook them under the grill?
Yes
Great recipe, defo trying. Do you squeeze water out of onions before use?
Tom, no i don't as the water acts as a tenderiser and adds so much more flavour 😊👍
Thank u sooo much for sharing looks so delish ..can u pls tel me what degi mirch u use and what chilli powder pls ..xxx
Hi Myra, yes I use the East End brand for both. Hope that helps 😊
Wow 🤩 well done sis great recipe I will be trying this
Mash Allah beautiful thanks for sharing ❤️
Thanks for liking
Hi,
These lamb chops look yummylicious. Can I cook them on BBQ or in fan assisted oven ?
Zahara, absolutely.
Hi please could you link the size plate also that you used. Thanks in advance. Looking forward in trying this x
Hi Maria, sorry for the late reply. The cast iron plate measures 11" (28cm) x 7" (18cm) hope that helps 😀 Enjoy!
Amazing sister
Thank you
Just about to make these for a bbq later, they look tremendous
I made it everyone like it thank you
Planning to make this for my kid. Is this chop fully done or medium rare for 8min cooking each side?
Fully done as that's how I like it but you can cook it a little less if you want medium rare.
They look really yummy as anyone tries this cuz to me look slight dry
Rizwana, I few people have tried them and non stated they were dry.
What is deghi mirch and how to make at home if not available??
Looks delicious
Did they were tender enough. Usually, the meat stays tough
That amount of cooking was perfect for me. The longer you cook red meat the tougher it gets.
These cook without tenderiser?
Yes, meat needs very little Cooking for it to remain tender.
What would you serve with these for a main meal?
Hi Sophie, thanks for your comment 😊
You can serve these with rice, a nice salad with naan or pitta bread or even Mediterranean couscous which is lovely ☺👍
could you vacume pack them and put in fridge for 1hr to 2 as to cut down marinade time
Never tried it Darren so can't comment but have a go and let me know. 👍
Oh yes! Ive been waiting for this receioe. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful easy step receipes as you explain so well 👍😘
Thank you Lisa Rose 😊👍
Assuming I can use ginger and garlic paste instead of grated?
Absolutely.
Hi! I'm trying this tonight and making the masala, I only have a jar of minced ginger/garlic - how much to put in? Will let you know how I get on!
Hope you enjoy! 1 tablespoon each of ginger & garlic.
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes sorry I meant the jar I have is mixed ginger and garlic paste, so would I put 2 tbsp? I'm not sure of the ratio in the mixed jars!
Yes then two tablespoons of the mixed g&g paste
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes thank you so much for replying. It all turned out really nice, I've never made the masala with onion before. Thanks for sharing recipe!
You're welcome 👍😊
Can you do it in the air fryer ?
Not tried it if im honest, i think they'll dry out but give it and let me know.
Love your recipes
Thank you so much 😊
lamb/goat meat is hard , doesnt it have to be pressure cooked first then fried ?? Does frying directly cook the meat ?
Do lamb chops cook in 8 mins ? ( 4 mins each side )
Yes.
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes never tried so far ..but always thought lamb chops take lots of time to cook .. thanka)
Absolutely stunning 🤩
Thank you Geoff 😊 🙏

Yes I believe they do. You can add that 8f you wish and thank you for your kind words. 😊
Delhi Mirch is Kashmiri chilli powder?
Some would say it is not. On my packet it states it is. So I sag yes! Depends on the different brands of Deghi Mirch out there.
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes Thanks.
How long each side if I use the Barbacue ??
All depends on how you like your meat! Rare, medium or well done! Mine was border line well done as per timings in the video. If you're after medium then reduce it by a couple of mins. Always try 1 chop first rather than a whole batch to get that perfect timing! 😆
I can’t figure out what the 5th spice is vigi mulch ??
thanks for your comment - its degi mirch - similar to kashmiri chilli powder.
looks yummy..
