I felt bad for the girl in the video when she said "Oh god..". I am the silent type in school and I never get in trouble, but that is not good because since my teachers know I will not get influenced, they put perverted boys around me in a failed attempt to separate them or she expects me to influence them myself. They are annoying and keep harassing me. Though I understand how she feels because I do not want to hear the sexual content.
Luna Miomye If you are being harassed by those boys and your teacher is turning a blind eye, especially if the harassment is of a sexual nature, you should tell your parents and ask them to take some kind of action. If the school won't sanction the teacher go to the local press and inform them about your situation. Don't suffer in silence. Life's too short to deal with people like that, and your education should not have to suffer because of their ignorant and vile statements.

Me and my friends were discussing this because i have 2 really awkward friends. We came up with a need for consistent positive female attention before confidence takes off--like a girlfriend. It only gets harder the older someone gets but... figuring that out how to talk to girls for myself made me into who I am. Also, let's say this girl isn't a good person. If they get into a spat before he leaves for college, she has the ultimate painful ace up her sleeve. Good intention, bad idea.

I worked at a restaurant, and a man came in with his teenage son, asking any of the girls if we'd date him. His son was so embarrassed and red in the face, but his dad had his arm around him making him come up to us. So, yeah I could believe it was his mom.
I can understand a blind date. I can understand a parent trying to set their child up with a friend's child. I get that. But selling their virginity is technically prostitution, which if you didn't know, is illegal in most places (that I know of). Sure their heart is in the right place and they want to help their kid, but there are DIFFERENT ways to do that which can end in the same result. Sex isn't always the answer. Especially if your a child is only barely at the age of consent.

Thanks man, yeah bleak depression like that isn't something I'd wish on anybody (even if they'd earned it). Losing my virginity coincided with my complete reevaluation of life, the world, and myself - I'm able to be content on my own terms now but for years I was stuck playing another man's game.
If I could counsel a younger me, I don't know how much I could help - it took me entering 'their' world for me to realise it wasn't for me anyway. That label 'virgin' was like a torture device though.

The correct way to tie your hair is to leave it a bit lose so that there is minimal friction. That way your hairline won't be affected.

I found it to be a horrible vicious circle where I became increasingly less desirable, confident, and social because I was so painfully aware that I hadn't lost my virginity at what felt like the age of 70 when it was really my early 20s - I hated everything and nearly everyone. Thing is, once I lost it that madness went away and now that I'm indifferent I'm much more layable. I'm still not a social person, I'll never 'chat girls up'.

I went to the same school as her and never had to take one. Had to take English courses, but no general Communication course. But if I remember correctly, her degree is in Psychology, which seems like it would require at least one, so you're right, you don't have to major in it to have to take it.

It's ridiculous that we teach our kids at great length about many of the things that that they will need in life, as well as many irrelevancies, but when it comes to sex, arguably one of the most important skills , we get creeped out by parental involvement. Stupid religious morality warping society's mind. I think this mother was doing her son a FANTASTIC service by trying to set this up, although it's not without its downsides and risks.
