You can automate diesel generation with a waterwheel (or anything to get some power) and 24 garden cloches. You need 16 of them to produce wheat and 8 to produce potatoes, just give them a steady supply of water. Just use an item router to route the potatoes to a fermenter, and seeds to a squeezer, then both to a refinery and into your generator.

Mischief of Mice I haven't been able to test it myself as I'm spending a lot of time on 1.7.10, so I was wondering if the effect was a potion applied effect and if so, what it does. Edit: no negative effects noticed. It's literally just a loud generator... nothing that causes any sort of effect on you when you leave like Ringing. Here's the thing: I've worked around loud engines without ear protection and my ears actually rang extra loud for days afterwards. There's no simulation of that here.

I don't understand how diesel engines are supposed to work. I mean, you're never be able to generate enough diesel to power anything continuously, unless you have dozens of refineries, squeezers and fermenters which will all need to be separately powered by hundreds of thermoelectric generators unless you use the diesel engine to power them in which case it's pointless. If you have say one squeezer one fermenter and one refinery it's not enough, which is particularly confusing when the FTB wiki and your video tells me it should be enough.
Two things. Each modpack may change values so keep that in mind. Also, this series was started in 1.10.2 Minecraft and things have changed since then. The idea behind diesel power is to ultimately power the excavator but to have it running reliably takes more than 1 setup. You can get passive power from wind, water, and thermal to power low power requirement items and can even store power if you have an excess. Once you get enough to get diesel made (though not at max power), often people want another diesel generator to speed up the machines that make it. Cloches (just a few) make more than enough ingredients to provide fuel for a diesel generator and at a minimal energy cost that can be seen to by passives. Doubling this setup with another diesel generator should do to cover the higher squeezer and fermenter power needs. It's got a progression to it. In the end, passive power for low energy machines, diesel power for high power machines. You just need to get there.
The way I rationalize the requirements, is this is something you turn on and off and never leave running. Have buffers for the ingredients going into your fermenters and squeezers, have Immersive Tanks to hold massive amounts of ethanol and plant oil, and then once your refinery has made and stored enough diesel, then you run these bad boys.
My diesel generator isn't doing a damn thing it's connected to a tank with 60 buckets of biodiesel but it won't take any of it out what am I doing wrong?
I was always wondering: is it worth it to build the Diesel generator? Because the machines used to make biodiesel also need energy and im not sure, If the generator makes more energy than the other machines use to make biodiesel ?

Powered pump with redstone picks up liquids below it and pumps it out you configured side of choice.

+Defense041 It only runs if power is needed. I'd recommend attaching all the outputs and using HV just in case.

I recommend immersive petrolium .
You can make diesel per oil there which is a good short time fuel
i got the mod to work now the power to the diesel mechanic and the other mechanics will not work
why can i not use normal diesel?
Is refinery faster than diesel generator or same ?? because I used 1 refinery with 15 combustion generators and refinery was struggling
Tuna Erkan One refinery is enough to keep two diesel generators active. You should power it with the generator itself.
