I mean, that does work! I still prefer having access to switchyards even if I have enough power, as it is still sometimes useful to be able to turn off part of your factory without cutting off everything. Plus, it's cooler because it forces you to make power poles that carry lots of separate wires instead of just 1
@@convergentradius Yeah, I'm not a fan of their operations, certainly. In any case: I don't receive a cent, I didn't even know I had ads on my video, even if you like someone's content skip the ad anyway because they still get paid (the same amount) for it, whether you watch 5 seconds or 50.
yup in our world we are currently considering moving base location all together due to the factory (20 times bigger than your example) being so stuffed its nearly unplayable with the lag due to all the processes of many many mods occurring on the same chunk i recommend spreading out as far as you can afford. also look into a mod called immersive posts thats what we use they are great because you can climb up them like ladders and make them as tall as you want
I have never thought of building a factory indoors. I always choose a **flat enough** place to start putting stuff and before you know it, it turns into a village made out of machinery and storage.
Ah yeah, sorry about that! I kinda recorded this all at once so it's not exactly well-choreographed, but I figured hey, if you really want to follow the designs you'd need to pause the vid anyway.

Bro - please make more videos like thise - i copied your switch yard design to the TEE! also - do you do any changing to the input/output of the redstone wire connectors? I want to setup something with Industrial wires using a redstone controller to the redstone controllers to the connectors and setup a nice control panel to control everything!
I don't because I have a single redstone wire per breaker, but if you were going to do a setup with all the breakers linked to a single control panel, I'd have each connector on a breaker set to a different colour, and then hook them all up to each other- the different colours work like channels, so you can have, effectively, 16 different redstone lines transmitted down a single redstone wire coil. If you do want to have more than 16 breaker switches, you'll simply have to have a second wire system, which can NOT be connected to the same network as the first- otherwise you'll be switching multiple breakers on and off at once. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video, and if you have anything you reckon I should create in future, please let me know!
0:25 YEP, I know this. I already suck at building half-decent-looking buildings and sometimes underestimating how much machinery/wiring I'll have to cram into that space is frustrating. I plan something and I usually upscale by like 1.5x just to be sure.
Unfortunately my "mic" is in fact just the built in one on my laptop that I use to record- the settings are as good as I can get them, it's just not good quality recording equipment.
@@Aleex1869 Chief what you're hearing is after running it through audacity with background noise cleanup + equalisation for voices. Unfortunately, no matter how you slice it, you're not going to get good quality voice recordings out of a laptop mic in a regular bedroom with no extra sound padding.
Hi, i’m actually quite fascinated by this mod. Its because i’ve been wanting to start a zombie apocalypse smp (we are just going to start) where we spawn in a barren wastelands with mostly the ground is just plain dirt (no grass), a desert, and a few buildings to loot, also a few trees which is configurable. I want to ask if we can actually survive with just that? I mean obtain resources without the other naurally occuring biomes. Is it possible? (If not, i might have to make custom structures in recurrent complex) I plan to build a complex (pretty much just a bunker with different facilities inside just clustered into one enclosure which is the bunker) Where we have different plantations underground, backup generators to power our lighting and electric fence perimeter, other facilities that we need in order to produce stuff to fuel the generators, power room, etc. And I imagine hordes of zombies just outside our base cuz they finally can’t reach us. In start of course, we still need to mine and do a lot of things in order to obtain enough resources to build a base that is safe from hordes of zombies
As long as you can obtain clay, sandstone and metals (iron, coal, copper, gold and silver are the main ones, but lead, aluminium, uranium and nickel will also be helpful) then yes, you should be able to get most things in the mod! It may be a bit difficult, but it's definitely possible. Crops of some kind would also be needed if you want biodiesel
No, there is no minecraft bedrock version of any of the mods seen on this channel available, because unfortunately the bedrock addon system is EXTREMELY limited in what it can achieve compared to the java modding system, and resultantly most developers stick to java.
May I ask what you're confused about? If you're having trouble getting started to begin with, I recommend the ingame manual or The Gamer Hobbit's video on the mod. If it's more advanced stuff you're struggling with, like exact production ratios, power grids and the usage of fluid pipes, then good news- I've got a video in the works for that too!
I absolutely adore the pipe/aluminum scaffolding powerline design!
I loved the powerline design
Me too, the only reason i got this mod
My solution is to build so much power that you don't need switchboxes and relays.
Also, it's a great home defense mechanism.

Instructions unclear, I now have a 200 million~ RF power grid sustained almost entirely by Thermal, Create, and EnderTanks
just wire it around your base like a fence and take power off the fence
I like the tower with pipes in the middle !
Wow this switchyard is amazing! Just like the hv poles design! Super underrated video
I watched all the ads to full length to support you! Its not every day you find an underrated content creator!
I have ads on my videos??? I didn't even realise. But uh. Don't do that, advertisements suck. I appreciate it anyway!

The best immersive engineering video ever!! Very usefull and informative. Good Job
i love this video
now i just need a video about logistics
Well its time to improve and have good decoration as a immersive engineer (this was a godsent to find ty for giving tips

Thanks for this! Subbed.

For some reason this video is soo satifaing
You need to do a letsplay with immersive engenering in the pack id watch it to the end
You should do some tutorial builds where you setout / set up / plan out where to house the machines
Amazing tips!

one personal issue:
i do not like things to be orderly. i desire engineered semi-efficient chaos
If you run out of space, build a second factory. This way your base will look bigger and better
i know im late but, what if i like the chaos?

You should make a video on the New Create above and beyond modpack.
