If you've got a sword (like from tinkers) with burn damage applied, and a chem thrower with a liquid that has the "flammable" potion effect (like creosote), then you could douse and whack to some decent effect.
Man i hope soon they can make this thing work with the fancy processed buildcraft fuel, like heavy oil or gaseous fuel, as you can get tons of both of this stuff and they currently don't turn into fire. Heavy oil should have a heavy arc but last a bit longer, and the gaseous fuel should have a wide spread and go pretty quick.
I should clarify. It has 4 slots. Three upgrade slots, and one shader slot. Though, now that I look, this was actually changed this version. In 1.7.10, it has an extra, useless slot

Yup. Regrettably I didn't have that in the handful of mods I had installed for this. Lots of laughs on players. Not that I would do such a thing. >.>

Thaumcraft's liquid death is actually scary, and it will even drop essentia crystals when mobs die from it.

Have you tried to use this with tanks full of potions or splash potions? I'd be interested to see if it works and what it does.
Shame you can't spray out damage II potion, or poison. Would love to spray out a lingering potion with this.
