Hearing Eddie sing now is like stepping into a time machine and goin way back to better times.
Makes me wish it was the early 90s so we could start it all over again.
I have loved this man since I was 12 years old. I’m 41. “It sat on my shoulders” how can anyone NOT love him?
This is the shit that keeps me alive.
I got chills when he started playing this, incredible Stern show moment :)
I adore this song. His voice is BEAUTIFUL
Always amazes what guys like him can produce when they aren’t even technically trained musicians. He just seems to have a feel on how a particular song should be constructed. Wild.
Off he goes is another beautiful Pearl jam song
What a voice...geez
Eddie is one of the greatest.
no code its one of the greatest pearl jam albums
Greatest Grunge/Folk-Rock singer of all time!!!
One of the greatest front men singers of all time!!!
His voice is still great. Would love to see him in concert.
Possibly the best comments section I’ve ever seen, nothing but likes. Thanks Eddie, we love ya

Holy cow!!!! What a voice after all these years! I wasn't expecting that!! Go, Vedder!
My favorite Pearl Jam song. Hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away.....
It's really something special watching a real, live musical icon in action. Kind of spellbinding and gives you the chills being able to "feel" the song.
Pure natural born talent, passion, emotion...
The magic of creating a song. Explained by Eddie Vedder. What a talent...
One of my favorite It reminds me of the Beatles You've got to hide your love away
Lovely. Almost made me cry
Protect Eddie Vedder! One of the last best musicians
Time to listen to No Code again, here we go.
Such a great record!
I love that album! A very underrated album!
Red Mosquito is my favorite song on that album. A true gem.
I have seen them 6 times and Present Tense is the only No Code song I have heard. "Of the Girl" the only Binaural song. Hope that changes.
Do you see the way that tree bends?
Unsurpassed vocal capabilities no doubt! He makes it seem so easy and his guitar riffs and notes definitely stand alone. He can take riffs that no one would be able to make anything of and make it sound fantastic which is exactly why he’s…Eddie Vedder! 🎤🎸👍
Eddies vocal mic and that guitar sounded SO GOOD! Kudos to the signal chain!
Good god Eddie is just the best. Just amazing and his voice HS!! He is just as good now.
I'm so happy you're still with us Eddie
Gives me chills. Eddie has a gift. Love it.
I had the same smile on my face that Robin had the whole time for this interview. Such a great interview.
Yes sometimes you play what you feel not what some people say is correct music technique !! It’s a gift
Not a big Pearl Jam or grunge fan, but this was one of their songs that was truly beautiful.
One of the BEST vocals in rock
Living legend. That, ladies and gentlemen, is music. This is what should be filling up the charts, pure and natural talent with heartfelt lyrics and raw emotion. No autotune, no BS, nothing fake, no ass shaking and not doing it just to become famous/a millionaire/have a gazillon followers on social media.
"That guitar there... I mean... Would've odd of me to ask you to show me how you come up with that?"... And then suddenly the guitar appears on Eddie's lap ❤
Lol ikr
He has had that amazing voice even after all these years. ❤ you Eddie
The joy on Robin and Howard's face is wonderful! I love this song and this interview.
The voice that makes me either come to tears or close my eyes and just love rock music all over again.
Upload the whole interview pleaseee
One of my favorite things is watching or reading someone's reaction to discovering Eddie Vedder or Pearl Jam for the first time. Reading the comments below was one of those moments. So glad to see people still appreciating good, real, raw talented music.
This brought tears to my eyes! Growing up in the golden era of the early 90's it just brings back so many great memories! Also eddies acoustic stuff if just fucking beautiful!
Always been in love with Eddie’s voice
Eddie so beautifully resurrected the dying soul of music...something inside me started to breathe again!!
I adore this song, he sounds amazing , I miss the 90s it was an era of great musicians with natural talent, gigs were only a few $/£..great times.
Elderly its a master peace of every times songs of rock
Love how Howard and Robin know not to interrupt! Just let him go
One of my most favorite rock singer/songwriters...love him with Pearl Jam...really love him solo!
Genius....so much powerful emotion in his voice. Just awesome!
So HAPPY EDDIE did the show!!!!!! Thank you Howard!!!! Eddie is amazing!!!
I can’t wait to hear this song live again and truly celebrate the return to normalcy! It will be a cleansing moment!
I just wanna scream hello!
My God it’s been so long
Never dreamed you’d return
But now here you are, and here I am
Greatest modern vocalist, ICONIC...
Howard is so great at asking the right questions at the right time.
His melodies that he creates can make a more simple progression better and hes of course an amazing singer
Man this was an awesome moment, thanks Eddie and Howard!!
We are watching with you Howard, our generation every bit as entranced - Thank you - I am so grateful for this, thinking about that time of my life and the friends that have gone ahead on their journey - just awesome!
Proper interview there. I love how Stern can often get artists to explain a little or open up about their music.
Man wish when he did Elderly Woman -
if he woulda started with,
*Me you wouldn't recall*
*For I'm Not. My. For-mer* love it
Simple open chords. Masterpiece.
What a legend!! Ed is all we have left!
Eddie is just beautiful in every way. Love you man ❤️😍

One of the best story tellers from the 90s

Damn beautiful!!... Btw, I can listen for hours the voice of these two talking about anything
First song I ever learned cause the chords were in the CD cover. Love it.
Robins smile is beautiful. She’s a gem.
Stern show is the best for this kind of moments. Two of my favourite songs ever.
Eddie is the man!
This song is really the best.
OH MY GOD!!! Time Eddie released a whole show just like this.
What a legend man. This was so good.
Sometimes is one of my favourite songs.
“... yeah just one finger...”
Except for the right hand Layin it Down. Awesome
My favorite Pearl Jam song; so awesome and what a great interview
Listening to Pearl Jam all day today - thanks for reminding me how awesome Eddie is! :)
No code is my favourite pearl jam album. Thank you for playing sometimes.
Such a humble awesome guy 👍
Eddie Vedder leaves Howard speechless..OMFG this is great!
I just love this interview, I have lost count how many times I have watched of different clips of it now. Just love listening to their voices.....💞
"You don’t really need to know how to play anything, you need to kind of find a shape."
Dang man, he still got it, awesome.
One of my favourite songs and Male “vocalists” and I listen to a LOT of music.
I love that PJ era from 91-2006. Ten, VS, Vitalogy, No Code, Yield, Binaural, Riot Act, Lost Dogs, Avocado and the few hundred live albums they released consumed much of my time and money. Turned about 10 of my friends into fans just from always having it on in my car and taking them to the shows. Wish they put out another album that inspired me like those.
Howard: where did it come from?
Eddie coming out of a creative genius trance: uh yeah...I uh...don’t know ... it just sat on my shoulder for a second...
When I first saw this the other day, I was pleasantly surprised how happy & smiley Howard & Robin were & honesty who could blame them 😁❤🦘🐨

Eddie sings with his soul.
I’ve been so blessed to have listened to Howard Stern for the last 25 years. Sure he has his haters, but this show has brought me so many heartfelt moments such as this.
I've always loved Sometimes, great little song.
Talk about turning it up and getting inspired part way through. Always one of my favorite songs and Eddie is amazing!
Thank you for sharing this. Used to sing this song LOUD with my friend Seth Dvorin who was killed in Iraq. Really brought back great memories. I just want to scream hellloooooooo!!!!!! To sing this again with Seth!

That made me sooo happy
Jesus Christ he sounds so friggin awesome love Eddie
What an awesome interview! Eddie changed and missed some Lyrics, but that's what Eddie does. What a gem to hear him just come out with Sometimes on Howard. I got goosebumps. When they opened Fenway park with Sometimes Sept 2, 2018 I nearly cried. I know what album I will be listening to today. :)
My favourite Pearl Jam song. Great job Eddie!
