Eddie takes care of his voice. The voice and band sounds so good! They're a timeless gem from the 90s.
I remember seeing a rider for a Pearl Jam tour way back when and it was so simple. They wanted Rainier beer and Throat Coat tea 😂

That was fantastic. I still remember the first time I heard that song. My friend at work had bought Vs. on vinyl, which came out a week before the CD and he taped it and brought the cassette into the office and we played the whole album. The second I heard Daughter I could tell it was a classic. Still my favorite tune of theirs. I think he made me a copy of the cassette and I brought it to a party that weekend and played it, no one had really heard it yet.

They were something else back in '92-94 or so. Very few bands were bigger. Their second album set a sales record for the first weekend of release that wasn't beat for several years.

The Getaway was a fantastic album. Josh and a new producer gave the rest of the band a shot to mix things up. Blood Sugar and Californication are the best, but The Getaway jams as well.

@@MrBuketmanI totally agree, having Danger Mouse produce that album was the biggest influence on their sound. Josh definitely added to it but DM steered that ship. I think that album was exactly what they needed, most melodic album of theirs yet. The Getaway and Californication are my favorites.
