Some things are better left to a person who knows how to do it and the money is better spent paying another person to do it... (car oil change or ATF change, handgun repair, etc...). Some things you will not do again and just pay to have it done and forget about it...
Thanks for the tip. BTW: before reattaching the band to the watch case, soak the band in a solution of water and dish-washing detergent for several minutes. Using an old toothbrush, clean the softened crud between the links. Rinse under running tap water; dry, Also, check the water resistance of the watch, carefully clean the watch case with a toothbrush saturated with soapy water. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Assemble the band to the watch case. Voile', the watch and band are sanitary and attractive again.
Thank you. Just got my first watch with this band as a "beater "watch. Was kinda tricky but with the help of this video I saw what needed to be done and made it happen. Now my watch feels comfortable.
Does it have to be done on the last link? Eg., if I want to take out two or three links, can I just find a place on the band, pry, remove, reset, without fussing with the end link? Thanks, very helpful, I would not have figured this out looking at it.
I suppose it would be a lot easier to deal with the last one so you don’t have to put them back together and they don’t seem very useful after you pry them off
You can just tell that the editor of this video went on to do big and beautiful things. He or she has Got to be working for a big station like fox or NBC or something and this video is probably what got him his Fame and Fortune. because When you show a video and then stick the closed caption in front of the video so nobody can see the key things that someone would need to see in order to make this video worth the time it took to make the f- in thing. I mean you can tell it's got to be a professional right!!!! F-ing meatballs

Resizing this bracelet was horrible. I'm not bad with fine tools, but this was awful!! Two freaking hours! LOL, can't say I wasn't warned though.
