Thank you, I had seen other videos, but they were not as clear as yours regarding the move needed to remove the pin. You saved my day, as I had to shorten a watch to be used tomorrow morning. Thanks again for creating and sharing this video.

Thanks for the "secret" of the "U" pins. Have done regular pins many times but could not figure out the u pins until I watched you. Thanks! Very Helpful

Many thanks for the helpful video. We used an old thick knitting needle to push the pin out after we lifted the lock. So we didn't have to pull it out and risk damaging it. Thanks again!!! 😃

Thank you so much. I looked at several videos before I found yours and the answer to why I didn’t appear to have any visible pins in my watch strap.

Very good... but DON'T try to press only on the nipple. Press on the tab at its bottom & push it outward. This technique uses just one leg of the pliers to exert good pressure w/o risking more delicate or dangerous tools like knives or jeweler's screwdrivers. A rubber mouse pad makes a good surface to apply pressure w/o scratching. (Other videos refer to these pins as L-shaped.)

I used a pen to push that clip out of its socket, then I used a normal pliers to get the clip all out, to put them back in I used a bit of tape to avoid scratching and used the plier as a hammer to push it back in
