Hi Steve, like you, I went through the 12 steps 20yr ago. The god word put me off, too many negative connotations and the fact that it was a separate entity, as it were, until I realised the higher power, the Great Mystery or the Dao were part of me, or should I say, I was a part of it, and then was It….One….Everything fell away and there was just Now ! I’ve had a few of these experiences over the years, which I thought were spiritual awakening’s. In March this year, I had The Realisation of Oneness and radical Aliveness. Amazing ! And….its gone ! Ime back in my effing head. Help, Ime on the verge. How to let go. Feel lost again ? Ime trying to get out of my own way, and then I think Ime trying too hard and Ime back in my own way again. Ime laughing now ….but it’s funny and it’s not….my head hurts !🙄

The way we close off from the objective oneness i call my Heavenly father, is that our hearts are receivers, and when we are misaligned we cannot receive, so one must first receive Salvation into our hearts,via the Holy Spirit. Then we learn how to tune our hearts by the reconciliation of it unto God and man otherwise we are cut off!
you might want to read your bible and access your lord and saviour Jesus the Christ! Read the gospels matthew , mark , luke and John.
Apparently this gentleman could not help you. Bc he neither has received him.
