I went to buy the white Seamaster 3x at an Omega boutique but everytime my eye wandered to the NTTD Seamaster. Realized it was the one I loved the most, so the 4th visit walked out with the version on bracelet which fits perfect.

I just bought a new one from Omega yesterday. It’s my first real watch and I love it. I have very small wrists but actually didn’t go with the nato strap. I’m obsessed with the watch - hence why I’m still watching videos on it.

Having a watch channel with a woman’s touch is a treat. As a woman member (I hope) of the IBWC, trying to find a nice inexpensive watch is a challenge. I inherited from my dad a gold Seamaster De Ville which was given to him by his employer on the 25th anniversary of his service, back when people really got gold watches for their 25th service anniversary, and when people actually stayed with one company 25 years or more. This model is no longer made which is a shame, as, after I had it totally serviced, I wore it every day for a few years, and the fit is great even on my tiny wrist. The watch itself is so thin that I can hardly feel it when I’m wearing it. Maybe if you run out of new watches to review, you could do a video on some Oldies But Goodies. Jenni, you are adorable and you’re charming personality makes your channel especially female friendly.

    1) Casino Royale
    2) Skyfall
    3) No Time to Die (despite the run time....it's a loooonnngggg movie and could have been split into two parts.)
    4) Spectre
    5) Quantum of Solace
I have enjoyed all the Daniel Craig Bond movies and as is said in Spectre - "Time waits for no man, and all that..." Daniel Craig had a great run and should be proud of the work he did along with all the supporting casts and directors putting their own spin on things. Even winning TWO Oscars for best songs. I loved the call backs to other Bond movies in them all but I will admit those in 'No Time to Die' were pretty special.

They should offer it on a very dark brown rubber strap in the same colour and tone as the darkest part of the dial and case. I’ve tried it on the Milanese but it reminded me of a Skagen, although the word Omega stamped at the very end of the Milanese strap is a classy touch. I don’t like NATO straps personally, and at this price it feels like being short changed. Maybe they’ll offer this later on. Other than that it’s beautiful

This Omega product placement really feels like an after thought in the film. This version of the watch fits Daniel Craig's Bond as a blunt instrument as it has a more tactical look to it. I fell in love with the first generation Seamaster Prefessional 300m in Goldeneye. I'll always prefer the Brosnan suave spy and his blue wave dial. Hoping the next Bond will focus on espionage and spy work.

I’m seriously considering this. I was very disappointed in the bracelet. I have a large wrist and wanted it to work but it just doesn’t. There’s not enough flex.

Focusing on the watches that have appeared in the Bond films. For me, the one that stands out the most is Spectre based on the Seamaster 300 1957 with the hour bezel and lollipop seconds hand. The twin barrel master COSC 60 hour power reserve 8400 Caliber is superb all the way. Genuine classic looking with modern component with a 15,000 Gauss anti-magnetism. So well built and will always retain its appeal throughout time. In the Seamaster 300M and the Planet Ocean the HEV/HRV being unnecessary as one would never go deep sea diving to the point that helium would need to escape the watch, so what was the point? The Aqua Terra being a good one BUT the current 8900 version better dial design would have been better. Roger Moore's 5513 Rolex Submariner being second (over the similar Dalton's 16610) Connery's Rolex 6538 being third.

Everybody is doing a review of this watch right now. Your review is the best and most practical though. It’s interesting to note that the producers originally wanted Rolex to be the official Bond watch but Rolex said no. This was back when the franchise was resurrected with Pierce Brosnan.

Where did you hear this? Cause that's absolutely the first time ever hearing this. And I'm not sure it's true. Pretty sure it's not true actually. But if you are right, please send a link to where you got the info from. Thank you. P.S. Bond wore Rolex in the books and in quite a few movies, but they moved on, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't cause Rolex said no. Rolex passing on Bond wouldn't make sense.

'Fast forward to the 1990s. After the cartoonish Moore years and the dour Dalton films, Pierce Brosnan strutted out as a perfect Bond for his - glib and handsome, he had cut his pearly white teeth as a TV star. The costume designer at the time, Lindy Hemming, considered everything from cufflinks to socks and when it came to his watch, she passed over Rolex for Omega. The Rolex Submariner was by then the most ubiquitous luxury watch around. Omega had a long history with the British military, with its Seamaster having been the choice for Royal Navy divers in the 1960s. So, to the chagrin of Rolex (and Bond purists), Brosnan strapped on a Seamaster Professional and Omega has been “Bond’s choice” ever since.' And Omega outbid all others as well.

Love the watch and your channel. I've been a hard-core Bond fan my whole life. So disappointed in NTTD. My rankings:
    1. Casino Royale
    2. Quantum of Solace
    3. Spectre
    4. Skyfall
    5. No Time to Die

Thanks for the warning, so nice of you :-) I love my PO and I also loved it as a Bond watch, however, I admit that something lightweight and smaller suits the activities much better. I would also get rid of the helium escapement crown to make it even more versatile if I had the say in it.
    Thanks for your videos :-)

Honestly it’s problably one of my favourite Bond movies.
    1. Casino Royale/NTTD
    2. Spectre
    3. Skyfall
    4. Quantum of Solace
Casino and NTTD are so incredibly different movies, casino is a classic really good bond movie. While NTTD is peak Craig-Bond movie, with the gritty almost John Wick combat.
And they won my heart so hard with the tunnel shot, like I sat next to my gf in the theatre like ”DID YOU SEE, THEY DID THE THING”

You'd think with how much Bond travels he would get a movement with the jumping hour hand setting ability (8906, I believe).

    Solid review, Jenni!
I agree that Omega should do more in this space and also that they should do this at a lower price. It would make sense for the steel Seamaster to price similar to a Tudor BB in my mind and then to charge an uptick for the Titanium that puts it around the price of the current Seamaster. They also should reduce the size by 1 or 2 mm to get it just right

Dropping the price can be a tricky affair as it affects exclusivity… It is a non limited model but the price will necessarily limit its sales although I read that it sold like hot cakes and was a very successful hit for Omega.

The curved plexiglass cause 3D effect when viewed from front. The black dial appears floating in foreground, the seconds track floats in background. Very nice optical effect. You don't get this with sapphire crystal. A work of art by Omega 😎

I am looking at my favourite watch RUclipsrs doing their Omega NTTD versions as I wait for mine to arrive. This was the one that flipped me into Omega’s, and specifically a Seamaster… the wavy style annoyed me a bit (personal preference, I know / I would have chosen black to get around that), but there is definitely some appeal with this SPECIFIC model that I predict will drag others into Omega. (Actually I always liked a few Planet Oceans). All my premium, (or expensive anyway) watches are made using titanium. I wanted to keep that theme going. I cannot wait. I want to say this will be IT for me, but I cannot lie to myself...

I thought NTTD was fabulous. I felt that the epic length of the film was perfect for DC last film as Bond. It's now my favourite James Bond movie from the DC films. PS great watch - and a fab upload. Great channel too keep up the good work.

Wart and skeleton hands aside, the faux patina is a dealbreaker.
Why I don't like the BB58 everyone fawns over. If I want vintage, I would buy vintage.

This is the best watch Omega have made in decades. It makes the earlier 007 Seamaster watches looked positively childish. Garish, 007 motifs on the dial etc. This vintage looking piece is subtle in its nod to Bond and made from Titanium with a unique dual places it right there with Rolex and their Submariner

Tried it on last week. The AD had the small bracelet in stock. Love the look & it fits smaller than I thought it would when looking at pics on the Omega site. Keep thinking about it.......so that means probably will buy before the month is out:-)
