As a long-time Breitling collector, with 3 Omegas in my collection, I cant stop wearing this 007 Edition. I have the Milanese and Nato straps, and swap between the both. My only criticism was the cost of adding the Nato strap! Haven't stopped wearing it for the past 2 weeks of ownership. Love it!
I just got one and love it. It is absolutely stunning. The color and finish is quite unique and the titanium and thinner case increase the wearability. The boutique threw in both straps which should be standard at this price point.
Bought the milanese version a few days ago. My wife, after seeing it on me at the AD, insisted that i buy it - much to my surprise. My panerai watches she could care less about but this one sparked her interest. I think it's Omegas best watch ever.
This watch captures the essence of the 007 experience having been released to coincide with Daniel Craig's final performance as 007 and ironically the same year of Sean Connery's passing. My purchase of this watch was to commerate the great movie memories that both provided. Thanks for the memories!
Worth every penny. It's much better in person. Go try it on. Currently, the most exciting diver in the collection. Super light, but heavy enough to know it's there. With the slimmer case, it beautifully slides under the cuff. The titanium bracelet is comfortable and stunning. The NATO strap is also a must. Most likely your boutique won't carry it. I purchased the strap at an Omega store. This edition is a welcome deviation from Rolex (nothing there to compare). Extremely balanced and the domed crystal looks incredible, especially from certain angles. Omega at its finest.
@@tomorrowcomestoday1621 I'll pay more when mine comes with a laser cutter and zip line built in. Otherwise, this should be in the 5k MSRP neighborhood.

Did you purchase the bracelet watch and then order NATO or purchase NATO watch and then order bracelet? And what did the price look like to add the second bracelet/strap option?
1:26 Toughness of titanium is laughable on this one. Some have already broken their titanium mesh bracelet where it meets the endlinks and as such, Omega has redesigned the endlinks of the titanium mesh on the more recent batches for sale. More info about this over at the Omega Forums.
I don’t think you should question the strength of the material here but the processing of the bracelet done by Omega or their supplier. Anyway, Omega reacted and the weakness should be no problem any more.
Being an omega lover, I’d love them to do away with the helium escape vale and have a built in one similar to Rolex. Yeah I know omega have watches that don’t have any valve, but with the seamaster I think it would look good without it.
Yes - I have this watch and that escape valve is just plain silly. I like this watch does not have "007" plastered all over the front/sides, and only very discretely on the back. I feel the same with the escape valve - no real function but to "show off", nobody goes deep sea diving with it and the valve can be hit away (like w Rolex) anyway - if they really think the watch need it.
Personally, I think they have taken influence from the Tudor black bay fifty eight following its success. Just an opinion! Either way, it's a great looking watch!
As I own several automatic watches, I actually have come to appreciate the "no date". First of all it is a simpler, cleaner look. 2nd I do not have the hassle of setting the date when watch has not been in use, and 3rd I wear the watch more as "jewelry" than function - so if I need more than the time, I will just check my phone. The original idea of leaving out the date is that a secret agent/Navy officer with a mission already knows the date, and the life and death info is the TIME. (No time to die ;)
I think the previous Bond watch looks better: The Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-axial Spectre edition (with Lollipop second hand). Or even the classic non-Spectre. More dressy-vintage-simple design. Yes titanium is a plus but the vintage-yellow color is too much. This could have been more subtile on that vintage touch.
I think it’s a very well executed watch but it’s way too expensive. In terms of specs it’s very similar to the Tudor Pelagos which costs considerably less and even has a matte ceramic bezel which I wish Omega had used for this model. Also with the Pelagos you get both a rubber strap and a very well made bracelet. In my opinion this watch shouldn’t cost more than 25% more than the regular Seamaster 300 does on a bracelet and and they should include both the nato and the bracelet for that price.
It is a huge lost opportunity because since it has no date window they could have easily given it the timezone function like on the 300 heritage model, but sadly no.
Definitely on the Milanese bracelet all the way. I tried both models and both are super light, but also and as usual, I would most of the times suggest to purchase any high end time piece with its metal (whatsoever) bracelet rather than its original NATO or leather strap, unless obviously, comes either with these last 2 original/manufacture’s straps -you can further buy the OEM NATO and/or leather strap(s). Lastly but not the least, great vid content including the commander’s inputs for the making of this unique watch for his last film in the 007 franchise, which definitely will make this time piece one of the most iconic divers in time.
Love this watch - the input from Craig is important! I think the subtle changes makes it a future classic. I originally preferred the nato, but the titanium strap is stunning and I am not surprised that 80% prefer it! Anyone can grab a nice aftermarket nato for adding some variety!! Great video, great watch!!!
I'll never get used to that helium esc valve......and on this particular one: that vintage inspired fake patina is a bit 'in your face', not very subtle
It's one thing for me to wear a fauxtina-equipped homage watch to, say, Connery's Rolex from Goldfinger. But for the Bond-character to be wearing a retro-looking watch with fauxtina on it? Not too sure about that. And while I'm still not sold on the Omega/Bond relationship in general, I think I still prefer him wearing the Aqua Terra or the Planet Ocean. Those just fit Craig's version of the character way better, IMO.
Its baffling to me how people don‘t like the bracelet. When I saw the watch up close in the Omega boutique I was like „what is THAT“ . I didnt even know its the 007.
