Amazing review. I’ve been eyeing this watch for months, not sure if it’s going to fit my wrist or not. The lug to lug is 49mm if I am not mistaken, what is your wrist size if I may ask?
hello shamus! great review, i got the blue dial with bracelet. wanted to ask, is this watch safe to keep in a winder for a longer period of time? don’t know if its prone to being overwound. thanks!
Most buyers seem to want the larger case sizes today. Or at least that's what the watch makers believe. So not much market opportunity for a smaller watch. Also, smaller movements are more expensive to produce, which is why you can get a Rolex automatic in a smaller size.
The edge and elegance of this watch is difficult to match in this price range. It is a beautiful and evocative machine. Thank you for the review!
Yes, it’s a classy watch!
This is definitely a perfect dress to dress casual watch. Very classy and symetrical.
Agreed!
I just bought this watch based on your review! Thank you Shamus
That’s great Delbert! I love mine. Enjoy!

Hi Ibrahim - I don’t know. I’ve never used watch winders. Maybe read up on some of the watch forums.

Do you know the lug to lug size of this watch?
I believe it is 49mm. But you should verify this on the Hamilton website to be sure.
How do you wind it? Towards the 12 or towards the 6?
You manually wind a watch by turning the crown clockwise. And as this is an automatic, wearing it will wind it through the notion of your wrist.
Can't find how thick the case. Any idea?
Case thickness is 11mm
@@ShamusReviews thank you. I just got mine yesterday. Cant believe how slim the case is, just as slim as my GO Senator Automatik
Yes, it’s very slim for an automatic. Especially at this price!
This watch should be 38-37 mm ...
Difficult to find an automatic today in that case size. Rolex makes them that size, but then you're not buying sub-$1000 watch.
@@ShamusReviews That’s why it’s peculiar nearly no one identifies such “market opportunity” and makes a sub-1,000 USD Day-Date watch

you're right. The watch is beautiful but its just too large for my wrist
No, it is the right size the way it is.
Hi! What's lug to lug width?
hi, I believe the lug to lug is about 49mm
Thank you @@RafaelDominguez81 - 49mm for lug to lug is correct!
