Hamilton knows how to design watches. Jazzmaster, Khaki Field, etc. This is one of few brands I wish to have a long and successful future
Such a slept on watch, def a high recommendation for someone looking for a casual /dress / everyday piece
Right? Honestly, it's really sharp looking. Classic. Plus, it's pretty darn accurate obviously color affordable, and definitely punches way above its price point with regard to the overall feel and effected gives off. Honestly, for some reason I have never really liked Hamilton but this one pulled me into the brand. I have a luxury dive watch and wanted a dress watch as well and just didn't want to give up hard-earned cash to have a dress watch that I really liked and I love the jlc master control but this simulates it for me and is way easier on the wallet and I love it.
The “seiko of the Swiss.” Such good value, reliability, and quality.
@Derek Bruce Hey man I’ve been looking everywhere for you. I’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.
I have this watch. It's one of my favorites. I love the movement and power reserve too. I think it wears big for a 40mm, maybe because it has long lugs. I wear mine on leather only, and consider it my dressiest watch. It's thinness helps it slip under the shirt cuff easily. I think this is the only RUclips review of this I've seen. I'm a big Hamilton fan.
Scott V so am I u can’t beat them for the price and I like em cause there different 👍
40mm is perfect for my 7inch wrist
I bought one of these five years ago and I love it. I wear it a lot - works equally well with a suit or casual dress. Lovely watch and it's given me years of enjoyment so far.
That texture in the center of the dial is the Hamilton “H” if you look closely. Seiko made a Seiko 5, SNK361, with the “5” badge as a texture across the dial too. I think there’s also a Grand Seiko that does something similar with a “GS” texture.
I’m 14 and have been working over the summer and I think this watch is the perfect way to spend my money. This watch is amazing for the price point. Of course not a Rolex or Patak but this watch and moment is stunning.
Did you buy it?
Did u buy it?

probably spent the money on abusive substances 😂
My wife brought me one from Macy’s in new York on our honey nearly 10 years ago and I treasure it :) it’s lovely
Really nice looking watch. The white dial is really well done. Thanks for showing it.
I own a Hamilton pilot for a few years now and still love it. It is my most expensive watch though. Would be great to see more Hamiltons on your channel.
Bought it! Love it! I call it the,”Taken 2.Auto” . Liam Neeson wears the quartz version of this piece. That’s why I call it the 2.0 version
That watch is just beautiful and different two this I like in a watch it's just a shot of fresh in the stale world of watches at this moment in time...
Love this watch. And I usually prefer bracelets but leather just looks perfect. Isn’t it great when an affordable watch gets you just as excited as the big dollar watch.
Love this watch and the Hamilton brand. Great watches with history and unique style. If you buy right (grey market on sale or slightly used) I think they are up there with some of the best Seiko's in terms of value prop.
Incredibly accurate as well. Agree it looks best on leather.
I own one of these and love it! And, it's been keeping really good time.
I agree about the strap. I have a Jazzmastet GMT with a silver dial. I was ready to sell it until I took it off the bracelet and put it on a nice leather strap. Now it is one of my favorites. Jazzmaster loom does indeed suck.
Just ordered. My watch fast is over. I got it on braclet and have a bunch of 20 mm leather to switch it up with. Got it for below $500 on Jomashop. Your video helped me decide......Many Thanks.
Just bought 37mm version with blue hands. Model number H32455557 but with eta-2824 movement. Really love it
You are preaching to the choir! I currently own four Hamiltons and looking forward to number five. Perhaps a Ventura?
That's just sharp. I love these "dress casual" watches as you phrase it.
Well said, Rob. I have 4 Hamiltons and they are superb watches. If you buy them used, they offer spectacular value. The ones that I wear most are my Pilot Day Date Auto and, of course, my Khaki Field Mechanical.
Good review. I really like applied Arabics. I love my Khaki Field as it's very versatile. I wear it on rubber, NATO, and Leather. If I got another Hamilton this would be in the running. The Murph is also appealing. Glad your trying to get more in to review.
Absolutely gorgeous!
I’m in love already
Your impressions are spot on. Own one of these on the very nice bracelet, but the no micro adjust butterfly clasp is a bit of an issue for me. Otherwise it’s my favourite dressy type watch.
Great video! I just discovered your channel. I used to own this watch and currently have a seiko sarb, which do you like better?
I have the black one with 44mm case that Bruce Willis's character, John Mcclane wore in "A Good Day To Die Hard" in the 2013 movie. Btw I got mine in 2012
Hamilton is just so good
Lovely watch. At certain angles of your close up of the dial the textured part looks like a bunch of tiny Hamilton 'H' logos.
It's a gorgeous watch
Bought this a year ago to replace my orient maestro. It's awesome and really accurate +2.5 sec.
I totally agree with this review. It's definitely better with the learher strap. And an everyday watch, casual or dress. Great stuff, i love Hamilton, good quality and value. I have my eye on the Jazzmaster - probably with blue dial, i like the Khaki as well.
I have the same model. I absolutely love this watch. It's excellent value for the money.
Fully agree there just different from all the usual watches u see out there
GREAT WATCH! I Loved it!
Love the Jazzmaster line. I have the black version with the older higher beat movement. I actually like this color better. The bracelet is too shiny btw
Definitely need to do more Hamilton. Love em.
Warum ? Sie tun genug und bauen tolle, großartige Uhren. Ich verstehe also diesen sinnfreien Kommentar nicht.
Classy piece 👌
Nice watch and god review Rob
A good looking watch.
I really need your opinion, should i buy this or the hamilton jazmaster skeleton H32705551 , christmas is coming and i want to buy it for myself
I love the blue version, it's a home run in every way.
Love my black faced Jazzmaster VM
What's better, this or the Tissot Ballade COSC?
I had a watch i had no idea what it was an homage of. Thought it was a seamaster homage till i saw this video
Imagine this watch if it had a vintage off-white dial. 🤤😳😍
Currently looking to get this in a blue dial. Good review.
I just got mine in a blue dial, beautiful, elegant, very clean and amazing dial. I have the bracelet which also looks amazing. The bracelet quality is impressive.
What s the bracelet link?
Outstanding...I own a version of it!!
I found this ref. nr. H32515555. Is this the one? Btw a very nice looking watch.
This really is a gorgeous watch. I purchased mine with the bracelet and I am so glad I did. The bracelet screams quality and it only cost $14 more than the leather. The bracelet by itself would cost you 70 to $80 so it is a no brainer. On a black leather strap this could easily be a great dress piece.
Does it wear larger because of lug-to-lug?
I'd buy it!
Just for those who like a smaller size. They make a 38mm size ( which I have in black Model H324550) which is identical. I’m guessing they have a white dial also but I don’t know the model #.
It’s also the eta 2824-2 at 28800 bpm.
The gold one looks choice.
Beautiful watch! Hamiltons really do punch well above their weight.
My Hamilton Khaki auto is the most accurate mechanical watch I own. Kind of incredible really, gains about 2 seconds a week if I'm wearing it everyday.
Should I buy this watch
Reminds me of my Oris artix moon phase
Very nice
I have the power reserve model of this watch. 💪
Hamilton make good watches and have the backing of the Swatch Group, which own Omega and Rado.
Great review, Rob. I have the H3264555 with the rose gold case and slightly different dial, it looks way better than the plain silver cased one which you reviewed (no insult to your choice of dial intended). Great watches at a decent price if you can pick them up on a 'special'. The H10 movement ( ETA Powermatic 80) is a goodun'. The strap, however, is shite. Easy enough to swap out, but for the usual price of around $700ish depending on the model and dial choice, this is one area where Hamilton need to really up their game. The Hamilton Khaki's are DEAD BORING compared to the Jazzmasters.
Hamilton jazzmaster ..... alright alright alright.
"So, I measured it the best I could excluding this hump because this is the crown guard and we don't measure the crown guard, right? So, it's 40mm minus the crown and crown guards". GOOD LUCK FIGURING OUT WHAT THAT MEANS!
You've gotten a little bit away from Seiko lately. And I think this is the first time I've seen you give your impressions of a dresser.
This thing is more casual, and I like it. Seiko has been pushing me away, not me pushing them away.
Very nice. JLC like.
Love the case shape... that's it... throw away movement... don't like the center part of dial..looks cheap.... movement is accurate and advanced..but still a throwaway movement.. I'll take the ETA 2892 any all day any day
Shape would be a trapezoid
What’s fun is all the H’s on the dial
I love this jazzmaster more than the guitar with the same name
Stephen Weiler no way.
@@bjmarchives sorry for the bad joke
Jazzy
The best men watch.
This would be perfect without the date window
Looks like it has no AR?
If it does it’s weak
The viewmatic doesn't have a crown guard.
Its attractive as hell for sure.. But at 40mm it cheapens the watch.. Dress should be 38mm or smaller.. Just my thoughts..
I'm the same. 40 is my absolute limit for dress watches....the ideal size is 36-38. The problem is without a bezel they look huge. But I tried saying that on a watch subreddit and I got "38mm looks like a toy!" "Watch Bro's" have taken over this hobby I'm afraid. It's been "go big or go home" for the past decade or more. I'm tired of it but there's little we can do except keep an eye out for new releases coming down in size....like Orient finally releasing a smaller Bambino. It only took them what? 5 years?
@@caomhan84 .. We are on the same page.. Invicta and their huge watch bs.. Im not gonna lie, i had a lupah with the 7750.. I wore that watch with pride.. I thought it was the it thing.. Then invicta started making pizza plate size watches
They also sell this identical watch at 38mm.
@@dougp.6108 that's great then. Glad to see that.
"...some texturing going on..."
You mean the intricate logos...layered in the centre? Those are H's....
So many H’s
50 meters... so close!
Gorgeous watch. Hamilton has such great style. I just wish they didn't mess with the classic ETA movement. They took away a little of the joy of wearing the watch to extend the time you don't wear it. It's like their marketing people got together and asked how they can make this a great watch to not wear. I agree, the H10 movement is an excellent movement to not wear. Stays powered for 80 hours of not wearing it. Is there a better watch to not wear? I doubt it. It's truly a revolution in how unworn watches should be not worn.
I didn't like the bracelet on this one, hard to size and too blingy.
very nice watch...just the "viewmatic" on it I don't like
idk, but i just find hamiltons kinda plain, and boring. i look through hamiltons lineup, and alot of the watches look just like tissot, and certina. i realize they are all under the same ownership, but uninspired to me.
I totally agree that they look like Tissot. I actually like those, but they are quite a bit less expensive than Hamilton's.
