One of Morrison's greatest series and that art in the entire book is great.
Excellent complete-in-one-volume story. It might seem to be continuity thick at first, with all the golden age references etc, but it all comes together by the end without any need for previous knowledge.
This on is in the mail! Can't wait to read this story again. Great artwork.
$75 to $125 is ridiculous.

Love Seven Soldiers. My copy is on the way, excited to get it, just about the last Morrison omni I needed. Hope DC announces omnis of Grant's Green Lantern and Wonder Woman Earth One runs sometime soon.
Wasn’t going to get this until I saw the art on some of the reviews. Looks beautiful and gives me a chance to find the first Morrison omnibus I can actually make sense of
I have it in my shelf. Like someone has commented, I miss the first print, and It's been my whale for some time.

As someone who missed the original printing of the omnibus and was super excited about this one, why did the price dramatically spike if it’s essentially the same thing?
Because your government is fucking you. Everything is at a rediculous all time high and I dont think prices are ever coming back down.
a mix of inflation and greed. if it helps this book was selling for 150-200 when it was out of print.

I’m pretty sure Seven Soldiers only had 2 SHC’s. I could be wrong though! One of my favorite stories and my first omni. Ended up giving it to my friend since he’s a huge Morrison fan, but I’m glad to be getting it back. :) Great vid!
The artwork alone makes it worth it. Not dismissing Morrison. He is one of my favorite writers.
This is actually the prequel to final crisis. You should read this to understand final crisis other wise it will be very confusing. Understand the new gods can be avatars of themselves and go other places. Technically death of the new gods takes place before this and is why the new gods are the way they are in this story.
I'm happy that i bought 2 copies from the first edition omnibus. That was 75 bucks, and this one costs 125 bucks...

BTW, this book goes before infinite crisis?Someone told me that is very important to Final crisis, and this book can be readed after 52 omnibus. Thanks Omar!
It was rumored to be the first book post IC. It can be read after IC, but BEFORE Final Crisis.
@@NearMintConditionThank you Omar, Wikipedia explains that DC wanted to be before IC, but Dan Diddio had an "interview" with Morrison, he said SS happens one week after IC. Morrison rules! 😂

Yeah, DC is really gouging us lately. At first it just seemed like a Batman tax, but now even Young Justice is $150 for some reason.
If it went up $25, ok prices go up, but $50 is a hell of a jump.

Same here, to me he just uses a messy writing style that everyone overlooks for some reason
He’s been very hit and miss for me.

After reading Grant Morrison's overrated X-men run I'll probably never buy anything with his name on it again. But happy for y'all that want this.
You started with New X-men? Not the book I would have started with Morrison, but sorry it didn't work out for you.

@@Joseph-cp6du I imagine that Doom Patrol or Animal Man would go much better for you to be honest. Kinda weird to completely swear off a writer because of one or two runs. It's like refusing to read The Long Halloween or Superman: For All Seasons because you hated Jeph Loeb's Ultimates 3.

Not every book is for everyone, and not every book by every author is for everyone.
There isn't much by Mark Waid I've enjoyed beyond Kingdom Come and the Kingdom; apparently folks are really a fan of the Kingdom.
