This is one of my favorite dc stories, but I hated it the first time I read it, then I read it again and it was ok, the third was woah this is actually really good, then the fourth reading it became one of my favorites.
This'd be my first time reading, is there a specific point of view to have before diving in for the best experience? I love the supernatural C-lister types, so it seems like it'll def be fun.
@@NichoMania2 if you like that then it’s already a good sign, because I actually dislike both of those things… some advice I can give is to take it slow, I was used to reading suuuper fast geoff johns stuff and having loads of action, but a lot of this is set up that pays off later, so just paying attention to everything makes it 100x more enjoyable in my opinion, it’s also one of the few things I’ve enjoyed re-reading as well because you get more out of it each time, if you don’t understand some stuff I also wouldn’t get hung up on it, some stuff I clearly meant to be stuff you think about for a few days after finishing the book and going OOOOO so that’s what that meant…

I remember having a similar feeling when I read Morrison's Multiversity tbh,
tho I haven't reread it to see if I'll grow to like it instead of feeling really meh about it as a story. 😅
But hopefully this'll be a fun time, especially keeping track of everything. 😌 All in all, thanks for the advice! I'll keep my eyes peeled while reading then. 😉

I had never heard of it... I like Zatana. Not a big fan of Grant Morrison. I love his All Star Superman but stopped reading Batman during his run (I absolutely hate the idea of Zur en argh [so I dropped Zdaski's run even though I love Jorge Jimenez art])
Got the 1st edition omnibus, which was 75 bucks. Now it's 125. DC is in trouble...
