Am just becoming aware of you cats after being recommended to your site. Have purchased some Omnis from you guys this month; so thanks. I can't agree more highly(!) with the sentiments and comments on your video herein and I share your passion for the Taschen premium format books! I've had some if their older music history books & knew they were solid. But their attention to design, quality, & respect of the comic genre is beyond IMO. From these, again, ultra premium XXL books to their, LOL- "smaller sized" versions, no one does it better than Taschen. A true "history book" of the particular character & series. Wish they produced more frequently. An accurate review to be sure bud!

Such a big book but so much borders on the drawings and paintings. Doesn't seem to fit the format. Still amazing work.

...and now to wait and see if we Actually get the 2nd one. Not gonna hold my breath.

I really wanted that Venom Omnibus because the dust cover looks so amazing and the story seems intriguing. Venom is one of my favorite Spider-Man villain/antihero while my brother is a big fan of Carnage......I understand that you received the Venom Omni but that kind of like double dipping if you get "Absolute Carnage" and "King of Black" since the main story is already in Donny Cates's Venom.

BPRD stories are better. Cannot really get into. into Hellboy. The group is more interesting than him with their trauma and backstories . They have funny monents as well

In my opinion I think the standard cover is way much better than the DM 🤩 lol. But I just can't wait to read that version of the Spider-Verse/Geddon to get more context and background since that story is way different from the animated film. Thank you for this amazing video and information on the Omnibus.... You forgot to mention that the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series Spider-Verse episode was heavily based and inspired by this as well.

The Miles Morales Spider-Man Omnibus Vol. 2 with the city skylight in the background is not the standard edition, that's the first print. The new one with the black background showing Miles have blood or some kind of red substance on his hands is the reprint version.

Good video but let me correct one thing. In 92 it wasn’t just Spawn and the Savage Dragon, in fact they weren’t even the first Image books to Launch. Youngblood was the first book to launch followed by Spawn and then, in no particular order, SD, Shadow Hawk, Wild Cats, and Cyberforce.

Bought on Amazon recently, it should arrive soon. It hasn't been translated into my language (I'm Italian) but it's not a problem, I often buy books and comics in other languages. It's a shame that the omnibus doesn't include the comic book adaptation of The Return of the Joker (which I bought in September, also in the original language because we Italians didn't have that either).
