Finally someone who explains stickers so well! You are a lifesaver!
Aww, thank you so much for letting me know it was beneficial to you! Glad to have helped!! ☺️
OMG!!!! I have been struggling trying to design my labels for 2 weeks and you explained everything PERFECTLY!!!! Now, I know what I’m doing wrong. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
Yay!! I'm so glad it was helpful for you! Happy label making!! 🙌☺️
I have had my cricut for a year plus. The EASIEST and most knowledgeable vidoe I have found!!! THANK YOU! Will subscribe!
Thank you so much Colleen!! I'm coming up on a year with my Cricut and still learning myself! So happy I was able to break this process down in a way that is beneficial and to have you as a new sub! ☺️
You are such a good explainer. Like I can’t. 🧚🏻♂️❤️
Thank you!! ❤️
Awwwww. The flatten part was kicking my ... Couldn't get it to just print, it would start to cut the print part. Was driving me nuts. Thanks!!
Yesss, that happened to me a few times and was so frustrating!! Glad the tutorial was helpful!! ☺️
OMG this is so helpful. I am new to Cricut and spent all afternoon designing one (1) label and then the text was missing. How do you get the black text to print?
Great explanation!! I will save this video for when I finally get my cricut 😊
Thank you for your feedback!! So glad it will be helpful, you will LOVE your Cricut!! ☺️
Thank you!! So good
Glad I could help! ☺️
After 2 hours of trying to figure out how to get my Cricut to cut the tag only, THANK YOU!
Yay! So glad it helped solve your problem, I remember having to tinker with that for awhile before I got it myself!
Very helpful!!
Hey, I am a bit confused on how to print on this cricut with no ink. Do I have to put ink on this cricut if so which one do I buy? It’s asking me to calibrate. Thank you! Your video has been extremely helpful.
Hi Candy, you would need to print them using a regular printer. When you choose the “print then cut” feature it will print a black box around your design so that the Cricut machine can scan the box to understand where to cut. If you’ve never used the feature look up a video on “Print Then Cut Calibration” so your machine is set to make accurate cuts. Hope that helps!!
There is a line option in design space under shapes just Remember to make it cut because it is preset to score if not pen.
Hi! Thanks for the video. I did everything but when it’s time to cut is just goes into scanning but doesn’t do any actual cut? Did something similar happened to you?
Oh no! I didn’t experience that when making mine. That sounds like an error with your Cricut and could potentially be an error with the Print then Cut feature if you’re not having trouble with regular cut settings. I would recommend looking into calibrating your machine for print then cut, I have had to do that before to get more accurate cuts. If you Google “Cricut print then cut calibration” you should find lots of tutorials that can walk you through it. I hope this helps to get you back on track!
Hi Irma, did you figure out how to fix it? I'm currently having the same issue 😮💨
The paper used is Premium Vinyl Sticker Paper - amzn.to/3If4XzJ
Thank you I enjoyed your vidéo and explications :)
Thank you so much for letting me know, so glad it was helpful for you! ☺️
Thank you so much for this! So far almost every tutorial I’ve seen uses a printer and not a Cricut, which has totally confused me. One question - can you explain the number you put on the label? Does each category (‘grains’ in this instance) have its own assigned number? I’ve seen the numbers before as well but am not sure what the purpose is. Thanks so much!
I'm so glad it was helpful for you! The numbers are really just a stylized element and completely optional. ☺️
@@KrystaMeeker I'm very confused now. I thought I saw you printed in HP and cut in Cricut. And I'm trying to learn how to do that. I just printed in a dell printed and I'm struggling with how to cut it.
@@meyrodrigueskelly8609 correct, the Cricut does not print only cuts but you do have to choose the “Print then Cut” setting in Design Space so that your program knows to add a black box around the labels for printing. Once they are printed you put it through the Cricut and your Cricut will scan that black box so it knows where to cut. This video was primarily focused on the labels alone. I would search for a walkthrough video of a Cricut’s “Print then Cut” feature to get a visual of the process. Hope that helps!!
Hello. Thank you for this lesson
If I want to start out using this cricut Machine, what are all the tools that i need to purchase.
I will appreciate your swift response on this
Thank you
Glad it was helpful!! I’ve gathered my favorites into this list on my Amazon storefront, hope that helps!! 😊

how does this hold up when washing the containers? any advice on making this waterproof so I can wash the containers with the labels on and they wont be affected?
I've been hand washing mine without issue for a few months! I linked the specific sticker paper in the description if you need. I haven't been putting them in the dishwasher intentionally but it has happened a couple of times and they made it out fine. I'm not sure how they would hold up over time if you put them in the dishwasher regularly though. Hope that helps!!
Do you know how to make black labels with white writing
I’m new to Cricut. So can you print on vinyl with any printer? Thank you.
Hi Lori! That's so exciting, you'll love your Cricut! I have a very basic printer and had no issues printing on the Premium Vinyl Sticker Paper that I used, so I would imagine most printers could get the job done! The exact sticker paper I used is linked in my description if you need. ☺️
@@KrystaMeeker thank you so much!! I can’t wait to get organized with the help of my Cricut!
So how do you stick the paper on the board?
The Cricut mats are sticky.
@@KrystaMeeker thank you 🙏🏾
Hi 👋 what paper did you use to print on? Thanks!
Hi Pia! I used a Vinyl Sticker Paper. If you'd like a direct link to the exact paper I used, it's in the description box for you. I purchased from Amazon. :)
@@KrystaMeeker thank you!!
Probably a stupid question but once you duplicate how do you edit your text for the next label?
Not at all!! You should be able to just double click the word you want to change and edit it. ☺️
when i attach it, why does the font turn back white. And when i flatten it, the text disappears
What type of paper did you print and cut with?
I used a Vinyl Sticker Paper. If you’d like the link for the exact paper I used it’s in the description. ☺️
How did you put the line one the middle of No 30 and grains
Hi Jessica! On your keyboard, just hold Shift + \ (backslash key) and that should do it. ☺️
Thank you so much
Which material did you use for these labels?
I used a vinyl sticker. Here’s the link for the exact one I purchased. 😊

I’m so confused 😕 I don’t know the difference between the blades to use and how do you know what type of blade to use??
But what material do you buy?
how do you make the line?
Hi there! The line between the number and category is made by holding Shift + \ (backslash key) on your keyboard. Hope that helps!! ☺️
I followed the instructions step by step and my cricut will not cut the labels. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
Oh man, I would try to calibrate your machine for print then cut if you’ve not already done that. I remember having to do that the first time I used print then cut to get accurate cuts. I also saw someone in the comments here said they were having trouble because they forgot to “flatten” before cutting. I hope one of those things help to get you on track!
@@KrystaMeeker Thank you so much for the response. Unfortunately, I have calibrated and they were flattened. It may be my machine, I will check my warranty. Thanks again! 😊
I’m more confused than ever. Are you using Cricut markers to print the font or are you printing on a regular printer then applying the paper to a Cricut mat? How do you know where to line up the cut?
Hi Kristy! You print them using a regular printer. When you choose the “print then cut” feature it will print a black box around your design so that the Cricut machine can scan the box to understand where to cut. If you’ve never used the feature look up a video on “Print Then Cut Calibration” so your machine is set to make accurate cuts. Hope that helps!!
So glad someone already asked. I was a bit confused if I had to print or if the cricut did it all. I wanted these clip labels from target but for $10 only to get 2 in a pack. I decided I was gonna make my own. I’m going to buy these bin label clips and buy my own labels on them. But had know idea how to do it. So I’m glad I found your video!! So wish me luck!! Thank you❤
What Paper Settings Did You Use To Cut? You Skipped Over That Part
Thank you for bringing that to my attention, I completely missed that part. I have an Explore Air 2 so I set my dial to "Custom" on the machine and chose Sticker Vinyl Paper from the options within Design Space.
