From the way he talks and behaves through the entire movie until he died you feel how disgusted he is at what humanity did to what was once his people's home, yet he also sounds so tired, which i suppose anyone would be after living far from home amidst those he despises for so many years

I swear PG12/13 just hit different ~10-20 years ago, like I'm rewatching Stargate SG1, whcih I watched around 2005ish with my parents, when I was barely 10, it had a PG12 rating and almost every episode involves death, bottomless grief of a persons death very close to a "protagonist", intergalactic diplomacy. Like I get there is "no blood being shown", but, beside the psychologically potentially traumatic happenings I mentioned, almsot every episode an alien or human dies, like getting shot jsut without the blood, or getting blasted making in indent in a wall, or having a giant burn wound after being shot by an energy weapon, or being dematerialized, or literally just exploding into a heap of gore.
I had this thought when I started watching it too, so I tried to comapre it to stuff that is now the equivalent of PG12/13 and it just feels like it's made for brain dead toddlers, it's all butterfly and rainbows, it's not thoughtful or thought provoking, it's almost like nothing bad ever happens, nothing can ever go wrong, the worst thing that happens is somebdoy steals your fucking limejuice in shining pony highschool, sterilizied is not the word I'm looking for, even if it fits, but it jsut feels so hollow in comparison.
Where is my genocide every 4 episodes, with consistents tropes even preteens can catch up on, at least sligthly, with an end of episode resolution that just makes you glad to be alive, whatever age or circumstances you are in? Making you want to face the challenges ahead and do that with a confident smile?
Okay I'm done rambeling, either way have a good one, dear reader.

Then Nuada gave his Introduction, called him "Sir" once and demonstrated his Methods to achieve his Goal making every Person in the Room fear for ther Lives, letting him feel his Superiority without having to repeat himself. What would you do if your nation was being invaded by a genocidal wave and your country's leader refused to act? More than that, he was allowing it to happen while withholding a means to defend yourselves? I doubt you would see the coup that displaced him as unjust. That is essentially what Nuada was forced to do here. He did not want to kill his own father but understood there was no other way... as before even resorting to violence, his father sentenced him to death for breaking a treaty that the humans themselves had violated and forgotten thousands of years ago. Nuada is acting selflessly and for the greater good, while his father hid in shame. He is not like the vast majority of other leaders in the world today, not even close, and is far more noble.
