It’s interesting to me that hot peppers seem to germinate more slowly than sweet peppers. 🤔 Our local grocery store (Texas HEB) have had San Marzano peppers recently. I’m not a fan of hot peppers but I have friends who are. Anyway, I chose two peppers that seemed very ripe and saved the seed. San Marzano produces an interesting black seed and several weeks later I finally have a couple that have germinated!
I like your crosses. Why do people always go hoter, I have a partner who doesn't like heat, so my crossing are to take the heat out so my partner can enjoy the flavour I get I finely got your starburst in Australia and I want to make that taste for everyone with out that burn that us pepper lovers like so more people will eat them I eat capsicum not a big lover of the taste but love sweet peppers hot sweets so much better. Like in a salad I put rocoto p360 love the crunch . Keep the good crossing going love yours and matt's crosses
Struggling with jalapeno plant, all my buds started growing then instead of opening into flower they dried up and fell off. Ad a cold snap right during this time and house temp dropped at night to 52 to 59 degrees . Would this cause it to drop all buds before they flowered?

Tha temp was at night and upper 69s during the day. Do I trim to get new growth that will BYD again because it is not getting any new buds.
