I’ve never heard of Brull. Your performance and recording was beautiful. His concert waltz was well crafted and would be danceable in the Viennese style if played slightly slower and with no ritards.
I agree with you one hundred percent re this beautiful composition of Brull. Hopefully more and more artists will play his music. I hope to interpret more of his compositions, His music was banned by Hitler and sadly has not been revived enough. Brahms absolutely respected his work. Thank you for you insights.
