Wunderschöner Flügelklang
So pretty! 😀🎼🎼🎹🎹
I am happy you enjoyed this interpretation.
Beautiful. Such an underrated composer.
I agree. I am glad you enjoyed this interpretation. Thank you for your comment.
Really great Waltz composition, so much chromaticism in this piece. And your performance sounds great.
I am glad you enjoyed this piece. How amazing that lesser known composers can be heard on the internet,
I’ve never heard of Brull. Your performance and recording was beautiful. His concert waltz was well crafted and would be danceable in the Viennese style if played slightly slower and with no ritards.
I agree with you one hundred percent re this beautiful composition of Brull. Hopefully more and more artists will play his music. I hope to interpret more of his compositions, His music was banned by Hitler and sadly has not been revived enough. Brahms absolutely respected his work. Thank you for you insights. I hope you comment more and even visit some Jadassohn videos. It would be interesting to know what you think about both composers’ work. I am glad you enjoyed this piece. Thank you again for your comment.
I love this performance. Extremely talented.
Thank you so much. I am glad you enjoyed this performance.

Thank you for listening and commenting, Jadassohn is so eclectic in what he produced. I am so happy you enjoyed listening,
@@kailarochelle6322 You're welcome friend 🙂
This sonata reminds me of Disney Channel shows that made my childhood, such as Kim Possible, Hannah Montana, Phineas and Ferb, and Wizards of Waverly Place.
Thank you so much for putting the timings in. Much appreciation. Have a happy healthy New Year.
your most welcome -- Bonne année
This piece also is in some ways reminiscent of a rondo. There is a music box like section which also reoccurs as well as a Song Without Words middle part, The ending is a nocturne like coda. Jadassohn is so versatile in the amazing array of styles he composes in, There are always harmonic sophistication surprises in his music. I also want to thank my friend Nicholas for bringing certain observations regarding a sort of mysticism in some of Jadassohn ‘s compositions. This textural type of mysticism is somewhat similar to the mystical musical style of Claude Debussy.
This gem written by the great Salomon Jadassohn is in my view a great addition to a concert repertoire. The textures are gorgeous, the melodies are soaring and operatic, the repetitions allow the listener to absorb the beauty of this piece, The charming music box effects are tender. I use midi due to my disabilities and play each section slowly and then we sew them together with edits as well, as needed, For someone giving a live performance of this piece, there are so many opportunities for interpretations on a wide scale of liberties, While of course it is essential to keep the tempos steady, one can certainly use artistic freedoms in many places, I hope to hear more pianists posting the music of Salomon Jadassohn, a truly ingenious composer.
Salomon Jadassohn has an array of musical ideas and a grasp of styles that are remarkable.
It is an honor to interpret the well crafted and imaginative music of Salomon Jadassohn.
1:12 No.2
Jadassohn is incredibly versatile as a composer. His span of styles is tremendous.
It is an honor to interpret this brilliant masterpiece by Salomon Jadassohn.
2:15 - Dance No.3
Really well done. Listened to several recordings and this is my fav.
Thank you for letting me know. It is an honor to hear that.
This Prelude at times sounds like a piece for classical guitar or harp. Just another testament to the many effects, timbres Jadassohn is capable of creating. The complexities and direction of the fugue are stunning at times.
I am grateful to have been able to reinterpret this gorgeous set of pieces by the underplayed Salomon Jadassohn.
You played it so beautifully ✨🤍🎹Where can i find the music sheet?
@@snowzardmusicIMSLP has a lot of Jadassohn sheet music. I am sorry I did not respond sooner, I did not see your comment, It is wonderful that you want to play this beautiful music. Thank you for your kind words.
your very talented this this one i composed it 40 years ago on a so so piano ruclips.net/video/_uefO2Pgk_8/видео.html
Elegant and lyrical, Jadassohn again creates a scenic route through his music evoking visual scenes of bygone days. Jadassohn is a master of dance forms. I hope to hear other pianists interpret this amazing composer, Professor John Kersey has many beautiful interpretations of Jadassohn, I highly recommend listening to his presentation of musical concepts in his truly remarkable Jadassohn performances,
Jadassohn is an incredibly diverse and flexible composer. The moods he achieves are truly wondrous. Hopefully more and more people will discover the challenge of interpreting this underplayed surprisingly innovative composer.
This reinterpretation has more sweep than the original posting, Amazing how midi enables for this . Midi is great for people with disabilities that do not allow them to practice much. Thank you to my project manager KB.
I am glad to have revisited this beautiful Berceuse like piece by Jadassohn. This rendition through re editing midi, has more nuance than the original,
Am so happy to repost this with a different ambiance. I feel the dynamics are more evident and the entire interpretation has more nuance. Thanks to all who listened to the original posting, I hope you enjoy this even more. Also I still highly recommend listening to Professor Kersey for his remarkable interpretations of Jadassohn using acoustic piano.
amazing
I am way more happy with this reinterpretation of this beautiful Jadassohn piece. I look forward to more reinterpretations through midi editing, I also recommend listening to Professor John Kersey s interpretations of Jadsssohn. the truly capture many nuances.
Congratulations, I've always loved this type of melancholic work...
Thank you for your encouragement. It is truly appreciated.
My first reinterpretation of one of the Jadassohn pieces I plan to rethink and re edit with the help of my project manager. Am looking forward to this endeavour. I have about twelve pieces to rethink. I also highly recommend listening to Professor John Kersey. His acoustic interpretations of Jadassohn are simply amazing in conception.
Thanks for listening Chris. I think there are a lot of beautiful harp like, lute like and beautiful piano tones in this rendition. I am personally happy with the expression now. Of course I would also love to play acoustic piano to express my ideas very spontaneously but I cannot due to my physical challenges. Sometimes I think midi is even more beautiful at times in that is has the timbre of a hybrid instrument. There is a lot of nuance one can achieve now. I am happy with the Moszkowski pieces and most other pieces. It is really the Salomon Jadassohn pieces that I want to carefully review and reinterpret. I am not tech savvy and edit with great and total help. Re Jadassohn, I feel he is such an underplayed composer. Professor John Kersey has magnificent interpretations of his works. I highly recommend them for their brilliant acoustic nuances and expression. Meanwhile I am doing what I can and am very grateful to be able to keep my heart in music. I do hope you will choose to play works by Salomon Jadassohn. He is an amazing composer. The Dvorak Dumka was something I wanted to play so badly and am so happy that with help it is on this level. I have no apologies for posting this interpretation because I feel it serves music in many ways. This Dvorak Dumka needs to be played more
Yes, you are right, this Dumka needs to be played more, as are most of Dvorak's woefully underrated piano works. I'll get around to it some day. I admire your dedication to Jadassohn. So far I have not found any of his pieces to really click with me though.
It sounds very midi, especially the closing bars.

@foundershinenation8380 14 hours ago Beautiful work on this, haunting, colorful, charming, passionate, brilliant - a little bit of everything. Glad you are back on track!
Thank you so much. Am so looking forward to reinterpreting some of the Jadassohn pieces. Thank you again for your kind words and for listening.
Am so happy to have reinterpreted this piece with the help of my project manager KB through midi editing. I feel it has way more expression than before. I am hoping to reinterpret select Jadassohn selections since I cannot practice much due to disabilities.
I may want to revisit this Prelude and Fugue with more midi editing, I think there can be greater contrast in dynamics and a more sustained sound in the chords. It is very hard for me to play the tracks with my disabilities but I think that with teamwork as always with my project manager KB weI can bring this Prelude and Fugue to a different level.🌞
I hope to revisit many of my Jadassohn recordings to add more nuance. I highly recommend the recordings of John Kersey for understanding the true genius of Jadassohn. As of late I cannot play much at the piano due to disabilities and feel that many of the Jadassohn recordings need a lot more artistic freedom, color and nuance, I look forward to the potential of midi editing since I can barely play now. Am grateful that my project manager can assist me in this difficult challenge, I feel that my acoustic recording of the Schumann Arabesque is a good guide for me, Thanks for listening, Kaila
I hope to revisit many of my midi recordings in order to add more artistic nuance. I feel they need upgrades in terms of phrasing, dynamics, legato, and general interpretation. My disabilities keep me from playing much. I highly recommend the recordings of Professor John Kersey to truly understand the genius of Jadassohn. These marvellous interpretations ❤Do Justice to the genius of Jadassohn. My first revisit will be to the Dvorak Dumka. Am grateful to have midi and the assistance of my project manager but am barely able to practice, Midi is a great tool but it is a different musical journey. I am hoping for success. Kaila
I hope to revisit some of my midi recordings to add more artistic nuance such as legato, dynamic contrasts, tapering of phrases. My disabilities are preventing me from sitting at the piano much and so I need to rely on midi and the editing process. This is a tricky process and takes time. I highly recommend the recordings of Professor John Kersey to truly understand the genius of Jadassohn a tragically underplayed composer, With this particular Prelude and Fugue I would like to raise the volume a bit. With the fugue I would like the motif to be a bit more pronounced in a few instances.
