Best. Video. Ever. I bought the steps and asked the kiddies at the store about the over ride switch and got the same blank stare and dizzy explanation. The on-line instructions suck also! Just watched your video and got every question answered! I'll order the switch and get my Jeep set up. Need this for when I take off the doors and drive along the beach looking cool. Thanks!
This was helpful! Have an '18 F-150 and ended up running it through the same hole in the floor as the purple wires so I didn't need to drill that extra hole. But appreciated the confirmation on the rest of the process.
When u disconnect to override u have to place your foot on the step, and it will stay down. If u want them to stay up you disconnect it while the doors are closed
Good thing you looked at the switch that 15th time and found that grommet......lol I don't understand how you don't have more subscribers....You are informative....hilarious....and got that HOT DAMN BADASS devil voice going on.
Does that toggle switch control the steps completely now? Or with the switch up can the steps still operate like they did before you installed the switch? Ie. opening the door the steps come down and closing the door the steps go up?
Everything works normally. With the switch up they stay up, switch down they stay down for 30 minutes than work normally. Switch in the middle the steps work normally with door open closed.
Hey Gunz was wondering what kind of lift kit you got on your truck and rims. I like the setup you got on it. And I wanted to know what's your opinion on carbon fiber cold induction intakes.
Thanks bro I love all the mod you did I wish I have the money to do the same mod I'm just curious if I could change my cluster just like you did I have a 2011 big horn hemi just wonder if it's compatible
Your opinion is like the stain on the back of my underwear, I try not to look at it. Regular steps on a 10 inch lift is not all that great, the regular steps are for stock trucks if you want to get technical. The xl is for lifted trucks, they drop lower so you can actually fully utilize the step. Its funny that you say hideous, only a hater would say that about something badass.

Hell yeah! May the badass flow through your veins! And let that Jeep rock the beach!

Just added my switch to my 2017 2500 Cummins thanks to you.
Hot damn hell yeah! It’s fun right? I like to call it the hater switch and I don’t have to have the doors open to wash the steps. Excellent!
I am going to give it my hot damn best shot thank you sir!
old Jerry Lee Lewis would have been proud, you killed it on the install
😁

My AMP step stays down if you step on it then shut the door. Did you try that? It's in the instructions, but who reads those! :-)
I thinks it’s easier to hit the switch, I can keep them up or down on demand with my finger.

To you have to have the switch for this new Amp to work properly?
Why do you need the amp switch with the amp steps?
Stay down when I need to wash at the touch of a button, stays up with a touch for off-roading. It’s more of an added functionality if preferred.
KUSTOMBLACK GUNZ oh cool thank you i went to order some and it was offered to get the switch and some plug-n-play wire and wasnt to sure why a switch
You are very welcome my friend, great option in my opinion.

This video should have lift details ruclips.net/video/5KiduxvnHY8/видео.html and for the intake as long as it’s proper it should be good to go.
KUSTOMBLACK GUNZ thanks brother!
Hey KBG have you ever thought about replacing the lights on our steps with better LEDS?
Yes, I am currently looking for some that catch my eye.
Ram bam ,thx u Sam! (Ya.... Sam😁🙄)
Ps. True... One handed = easy cheeseeee

Where did you order your steps and switch from? Thanks
4wheelparts, I waited for a discount. Items are usually discounted around any holiday.
Do you have to have the switch for it to work?
Awsome ram bro
Hell yeah thank you!

I think the cluster may be 2013 or 14 and up very sorry. Not really sure but I think that’s how it goes.
The weegro voice is awesome!!
😁
Those XL steps a look hideous! My truck has 10 inches of lift and the regular Amp steps are plenty.
