I used to play the double bass professionally, but at the very end of my playing [between 1999 and 2002] I was co-opted into is tiny string orchestra made up entirely of retired professional players all in their sixties and seventies. I was shy of forty in 1999, so much the youngest present among twelve to seventeen other really nice players. We played entirely for the pleasure of it, giving half a dozens concerts locally each year. Very thoroughly rehearsed, but without conductor. We often gave this music, and I am very fond of it! One thing I notice is how you deal with the repeated bass notes on the cello/bass-line. Sharing them in alternating octaves makes them clear, as I am sure that organ bass pipes speak less fast than a double bass. Sheer practical brilliance behind a strikingly lovely and energetic performance. Thank you so much. If I had not heard it with my own ears, I would have thought you achievement impossible! I would love to have the chance to listen to all three movement together! Ungrateful old man that I must be! Best wishes from George
As a BIG Mozart fan, I marvel at how you, Jonathon, can capture his massive creativity and energy and translate than so masterfully to one instrument. You not only play beautiful music, you seem to become that music. Thanks so much!
Well that was a lovely surprise!! You 2 are amazing!! I love the fact that this is what you 2 do for fun when you have a few spare minutes to yourselves!! We are all so lucky to be able to enjoy these wonderful moments with you. Thank you both.
Jonathon, you are amazing, a most clever and talented organist/musician. I don't know how you do it! All the different organs you play and all so beautifully. Three months ago I bought myself a retirement present of a Johannus Opus 377 three manual organ. I didn't realise at the time but it has an AGO (American Guild of Organists) and I can't get used to it. Yet, you seem to cope so easily with any style pedalboard you're faced with. I'm so impressed. I love all your videos. So thank you and thank you to Tom.
Dein Orgelfan.
Jonathan Scott is just upsolutely amazing 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 this brings so many memories. As a violinist playing through this now getting to witness this by one man action is just brilliant
Congratulations!! How you have enjoyed it and how you have made us enjoy it. I loved it!! It sounds very Mozart: cheerful, fresh, lively, fun, light... Thank you once again for this beautiful moment!! 💖💖😘😘
It's very beautiful, cheerful, encouraging! No sadness, worry, annoyance or fatigue can survive this wonderful gift! I really, really liked it! Thank you both for this wonderful performance and video!
Lovely! It's odd seeing Jonathan so casually dressed at the console of an organ. This is not the voice of disapproval, I just wasn't expecting it, given that he's usually so sartorial. :)
Wow, Mozart on a organ, Divertimento in allegro no less. Now i have seen everything and can die in peace. Stunning performance, i have never seen anything like this. Organ i usually associate with Bach or Brahms eventually Beethoven, but this? Could have tried Liszt or Chopin next time :D
Mozart and Jonathan Scott - a great combination!

Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This is so quintessential Mozart. I hear his operas, piano works, and orchestral works all summarized in this piece.
This is what a golden dream coming true sounds like!
Okay Maestro Scott
I'd love to have more MOZART pieces interpreted by the Scott Brothers Duo.
Jonathan had fun playing. I had fun listening.🙌👍😘🙋🏻♀️
Thank you so much for making me happy with your wunderful Mozartplay!!!
This pipe organ is one of the most beautiful that I've seen. The acoustics is just as amazing too. I'm musing over everything you play.

The lighting distorts the colour of his apparel . He is in his usual tasteful dressing.
