Estupendo trabajo: muy linda la combinación de granos, texturas y colores y la terminación quedó suave como la seda. Una belleza. Gracias por dejarnos ver tu trabajo y compartirlo en RUclips.
Hi Marcia, it’s nice meeting you here.. I’m Richard by name, it would be nice getting to know you better, if that’s ok with you? My mom once said good friends are never too much to have. if you don’t mind, can we be friends?? Lovely smile you got there on your profile picture, it can brighten up the most darkest atmosphere of any man’s world😉.
Congratulations, RDM a beautiful piece. Simple but very beautiful. I also make pieces with the same characteristics but with other materials, including wood + resin. Hugs.
Beautiful bowl. Great wood selection. But I think I like the production most of all. Very entertaining. Watched it all the way. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.
Wow, well done. I was wondering how this would turn out after the glue up. I was surprised by how nice this turned out. You just keep getting better and better. Thanks for the videos.😎
Hi, really enjoy your videos. You are the only turner I’ve seen that uses sanding sealer. What exactly does that do for the wood? Also, what wax do you use? I’m just getting started in turning so I’ve got a lot to learn. Merry Christmas and I wish you and yours a very happy New Year.
The sanding sealer acts like a primer or base coat before applying the wax finish (I used WoodWax22 from Chestnut). Sanding sealer improves the finish 100%, definitely worth a try. Thank you so much for watching. 😎🎄👍
Love this well done! Can you tell me what the Funnel club comment means please? I’m new to turning and don’t the terminology many thanks, wry inspirational 👍
The funnel club is a term for when you are hollowing out the inside of a bowl, and you cut too far, creating a hole in the bottom of the bowl, creating a funnel! I only have a small number of funnels. I hope that you don't join the club too soon! Thank you very much for watching 😎👍
@@RDMWoodturning haha! I’ve done that twice already! It makes obvious sense now you’ve told me!! Thanks for the quick reply and please keep posting your videos 👍
I love how adding a couple pieces of veneer give such a nice result. I am no expert by any stretch but aren't you "copping" out on the bottom? Seems at least you should sand the inside of the reverse tenon if not remount and finish off the bottom. Not criticizing at all, just curious what you could do? Beautiful work made to look easy
Thank you for watching. I was actually thinking the same at that time 3 years ago. About 3 months after this video I bought a laser engraver, so now I glue a disc with my makers mark into the bottom. 👍
@@RDMWoodturning si te encargo una igual para que me envíes a Argentina , que costo tendrá...?? Creo que hay que trabajar con esas buenas herramientas?

You make it look so easy and did such a great job. Was Cellulose Sanding Sealer the only polish you used on the bowl? It just polished up so nicely. Thanks for sharing. David, Beachmere Brisbane Australia

What a beautiful job. Question is what is the red material used between the layers.
The red material is Dyed Tulipwood Veneer. 👍

Thanks. WoodWax22 Clear, made by Chestnut. I think that there’s a link in the description. 👍
Beautiful. I made lot's of bowl's in the past? What do you do with the bowl's you make. Do you sell them

Beautiful bowl. What’s the sanding tool you use? Looks very helpful for projects like this, would love more info on it
The bowl sander is brilliant. An extremely useful tool! I bought mine from Amazon amzn.to/3s4eJvg Thanks 😀👍
Love it. Wat is the red wood? I do not see that in Holland.
The red wood is stained tulipwood veneer. I bought a few sheets on eBay about 6 months ago, but I haven't seen it since. Thanks for watching 👍
@@RDMWoodturning Thanks, Found it in Belgium and bought a couple of different sheets. And used it to create supervise bowl.

Scusa ma quello rosso è uno stato di multistrato rosso?
Il materiale rosso è un'impiallacciatura di legno colorata realizzata in tulipier. Spessore circa 1 mm.
