I was here for the tiny house but the music was such a bonus. Someday(or maybe later) I'd know how to properly use a saw and hammer and build our cozy house with my family.
Yeah, I'd be contented too if someone could just give me a condo to sell and buy some land and a bunch of solar panels and batteries and then have money left over to live off of. I'd be so contented being poor with that nice chunk of cash.

Once the woods are in your blood and you live in a self-built house, there is no turning back. Adam has done a great job. When I was little, back in the late 50's we used to camp in Algonquin park when we lived in St. Kitts. There is a photo of me around age 2-3 standing in the middle of the forest on a dirt road. Although I have no direct memory of it, I think that is where my journey began. Now a fellow woodland self-built cabin dweller in Wales. Sans bears.

My problem was I kept adding on but got to no when to say enough. Noise pollution and big cities not for me, there is a different noise in the way back country, wind and breeze blowing through the pines. Being in solitude is like a whole other way of life. Very nice little cabin. I love lodge cabin or house. But yeah bathroom is the one thing I do not want it close to the kitchen. It has to be in the back of the home. Even of it doesn't smell.
I agree. It's the fresh air, the green plants, the silence and bird singing. It's just..Calm. I'd do anything to have this. I'm stuck in the city with a neighbour harrassing. This is hell. I'm so happy this guy escaped.

I really like that pullout bed. There's no heat in my bedroom and he livingroom is better to sleep, but I have a baby grand piano I moved a bunch of stuff into my bedroom. So, now I sleep next to my piano, on the floor, but if I could make that bed I could sleep elevated and with more space to move.
